I agree that the silence of the United Nations as a whole and the various arms of the United Nations as well as all the women organisations of the world has been deafeningly silent on these atrocities against women.
Not one of these have raised their voices as as an organisation to uphold their principles. Are they there just to talk, hold events but do nothing when it comes to reality.
The violence against women in this case was definitely under deliberate directions of the leadership of Hamas and their supporters.
It is really disturbing to note that there are Hamas supporters in spite of full knowledge of what was done.
Why not use mossad to check money movements of multi billion $ being poured into hamas. We just hope the UN hierarchy are not financially compromised.
I am glad that Israel is speaking out loud and clear and hope that all at the UN are listening carefully. I hope that the women’s organisations that have been lukewarm in taking up women issues wake up and start addressing crimes and violence against women, all women, anywhere in the world.
