Laws are on the books. People are being ticketed for laws that are being broken. Show me examples of tickets written when no law is broken and we'll at least have something to talk about in terms of officials doing something improper.
One guy whined about getting in trouble about a knife. A knife he says is fine somewhere else. Who the fuck cares if it's legal somewhere else. You went to that town in that state and they obviously have different laws. Different towns and states have different laws about blade length, about edges on both sides, about the style of the knife itself, about if the blade folds or is fixed, about if the blade is clearly visible or not. If you are in Miami FL, no one gives a fuck about the laws in Pheonix AZ. Now, the shitty video didn't talk to the guy about what the condition of the knife was, or what made it a "fighting" knife locally (many older laws will refer double edged knife as a dagger or a fighting knife).
If you don't like a law, you can absolutely try and have the law changed. I'm not understanding why you're whining about corruption here.
It also helps if you're calm and friendly to them. I was at a gas station a few days ago filling up my car and had my gun on my hip (open carry is legal without permits where I live) and loaded while filling up. Decided to take a second to throw away a grocery bag I'd been using as a trash bag in my car (I'm a smoker, so most of it was empty packs) but the only trash can was inside the building. My state does not let you carry firearms into a gas station, but I was only about 10 feet inside the building for roughly 5 seconds and then immediately left. A cop saw me and just gave me a heads up that it's better to avoid doing that. I was armed, talking to a cop and we both went home at the end of the day. All because I respected her and was friendly even when she was clearly a little on edge (likely from a previous call). TL;DR - Be cool to cops and they'll be cool to you.

This is my question lol, stancefags have meets just like this here in VA all the time and MAYBE one or two cops will show up. They should move it down to Virginia Beach.
The thing is that those people don't even go to the car show. They just come for the weekend cause some asshat told them it was a dope thing to do. The actual show doesn't even cater to the type of cars that come down to Ocean City, its a VW show that people started crashing. Before all the outcast started coming it was a very chill weekend with all VWs and a few outsiders that knew people in the scene.
The police just aren't messing with them for no reason. Its years of nonsense that has brought them to this no tolerance attitude. Best thing to do is just not to go. H2o used to be small vacation for me and my friends but we have stopped going, we now go during the summer to enjoy a children free weekend.
He did just describe the next plot for fast a furious 12 though...... ;-)

Nearly void of useful information. So, not really news or informative. It said an event happens and people get tickets. They hinted at the town's efforts to make life miserable for people to chase the event away. No conversations with anyone about that side. No real content about the real show going on either. This was really lame. This was like a bad imitation of Vice with incredibly low standards. Like you gave some cameras to some guys who had no plan other than, let's talk to people at an event and see if we can come up with a story.

the funny thing is that if you are out of state ,the Maryland car laws don't apply to you. some guys from Florida showed up last year and all their cars got impounded for excessive camber, but in Florida where the cars were registered and inspected it was perfectly legal. long story short they took it to court and won big costing the ocean city area a total of $90,000 some odd dollars for the illegal impound, damage to the cars from the tow and cost of hotel until court

Reason for impound are. Headlights too low (car is too low), improper equipment because tires are stretched, car has too much camber (thats why they call oc police the "camber police". Most of the memes of police with a camber gauge are from these events.

I agree. I personally think there should be a law that restricts truck lift height and headlight brightness. That shit is considerably more dangerous than someone in a slammed car. I constantly brake check or flash my brights at the assholes in their trucks around here.
Plus, in my experience (which is likely different than yours) most of the people that lift their trucks around here, never take the damn thing off road. Don't get me wrong, it's your vehicle and money so do whatever you want, but don't get pissed when I throw a joke your way when you're essentially waving a flag declaring how much of a poser you are.

That Z is ruined because airbags cause the handling to degrade, it probably rides soft and bouncy like a fucking Lincoln and understeers like a hell. Z32's should only be lowered on springs or coilovers.
Not to mention that camber is ridiculous and you won't even be able to drive in a strait line on the highway or any other road. I only have Eibach lowering springs on my Z which lowers things a good amount but still keeps all my functionality. With a Stillen GTZ front fascia and eibach springs my Z looks better than this bagged camber abomination you see in this video.

A vehicle that is on adjustable suspension that can lower while stationary is not a safety violation. Thats like saying a jeep with a 4" lift is a death trap. If its done correctly, suspension modifications are completely safe. Thats why most states have Zero issue with vehicles like these. Tell me, How are they known to cause accidents by losing control of their cars? If that was the case, then youtube should be littered by Thousands of videos of these crashes. Oh wait.. Excessive camber? As ridiculous as negative camber is, why is it illegal? What if you have a swing-axle rear end and hit a big bump, you going to get a ticket for excessive positive camber? Then the police wonder why people are constantly in fear of them.
Because it reduces the contact patch of the tires. Some have so much camber and such stretched tires that what tire is in contact with the road is mostly sidewall (which is not designed for grip).

There's no such thing as, "stancing". Stance, is how a car sits, in terms of ride height. A race car, has a particular ride height in order to make it handle a race track properly, thus resulting in a ride height that is typically very low, yet leaves enough room for there to be sufficient suspension travel.
A rally car, (obviously) has a significantly raised ride height, allowing there to be a large amount of suspension travel and lets the handle the extreme jumps and terrain that they encounter. So a car like that, has an off-road or rally "stance".
Stance has to be one of the most misused terms in the car world today.

One time I bought a 1986 ford tempo 2 door to drive back and forth to.work and it was electronic activated push button all wheel drive,it was fun as hell in the curves and it was a stick,well I slammed it,it was so.low that I rubbed a whole in the trans pan and had to junk it because the trans was ultra rare and couldn't get a replacement for under 5 grand
after talking to dozens of stance people. the only reason someone Stances(ruins) their car is because their friend or they knew a guy who did it so they do it to. I always get the response of "I did it because so and so did it" what I've gotten from this is that the stance scene is just a big group of people that stance their cars because other did it, even if they themselves don't like it, but their really isn't an original person that did it because of any reasonable reason.
I would never go to h2oi because so many people get pulled over and impounded for all the same stuff, so there is no chance of getting off with a warning.

excessive camber is stupid. it started because REAL RACECARS have some negative camber so the tire is flat in a corner, giving you more grip when you need it. Just like big wings, at first it was to look like RACECARS, then silly children thought bigger is better, taller wheels is better, more camber is better. I don't do shit to a car that doesn't make it faster, handle better, get better mileage etc. Otherwise you and your car suffer for a look? Not buying into that. Enjoy your tickets.
