I apologize for the MID-ROLL ads. What it is is... RUclips started adding them as default.
If you see them in more and more RUclips videos now, it isn't necessarily because of greed (on the part of the video-maker).
The frustrating part is... while uploading the video, I go through and set up all my stuff: Title, thumbnail, privacy, tags, etc. Pretty much everything I need to do to have it ready to go public the next day. You cannot, at this point, turn OFF mid-roll ads. So by the time it gets uploaded the next morning, the video is published and I forget all about going back and disabling mid-roll ads. I feel like an ad at the beginning or end of a video is good enough.
I'll be going back through all my OLD videos - particularly longer ones - and disabling mid-roll ads as well, because I notice RUclips has retro-actively activated mid-roll ads on old active videos. Activity. Click. Select. Save. Thank you for your understanding!

Are there any 3rd Party tools that will let you mass-edit your video settings?
Is there any chance you could test even stronger epoxies, like 2 part epoxies? I tried to repair my laptop case using a strong two-part epoxy, and it lasted a couple months, but then snapped...
@@godminnette2 you should check out the channel Project Farm. They do a lot of indepth product reviews including epoxy and glue comparisons.
We understand that you need to pay the electric company to keep the lights on, so ads aren't a problem. Also the mid-roll ads are appearing everywhere on RUclips, so we know it's RUclips getting greedy, not the lovely creators.

He sounds like an old gangster, that plays with toys.
I saw a video and then a buddy said,"I thought everybody knew about that." The packaging that Loctite uses on the Gel Control with the squeeze handles is deceptive. If you pull the bottom out with pliers, it's revealed there's a little tube inside and the squeeze sides are pushing glue out of it, but they're not able to push all the glue out, making you think it's empty so you buy another one. It's still got half the glue in it. My friends and I now pull the bottom out and cut the outside casing off (carefully) and deal straight with the little tube and get all the glue.

Loctite Gel final test immediately after weight release: I literally said out loud: "that's pretty impressive"... Fast forward 1.25 seconds later, CrafsMan said: "that's pretty impressive" That was almost like Virtual Reality! Love that you're venturing into science experiments... as only the CrafsMan can!
All these comments and haven't heard how amazing the music is in this. I absolutely love it! It fits so well and and so well done. You always have such well done subtle music, and it always adds to the videos rather then overtakes and distracts from the subject. It's always perfect! Do you put up the music for download?
I appreciate this comment so much! My thinking was... with this being a longer video than normal, I felt like it needed some music to carry it. The music was originally used in my "How I Animate" video, and I liked the low-key nature of it.

I laughed twice at "trying to quit smoking". First laughed at the actual line, then I laughed again while CrafsMan was gluing the parts together and just remembered it again in my head.
Literally laughed out loud at the Star Trek/Star Wars dig. I own a shirt that has "Star Trek" written in the Star Wars font, and the reactions I get when wearing it are... uh... interesting, to say the least.
I was watching a youtube tutorial on how to make resin eyeballs..."Monster Tutorials" and low and behold he gave you a massive shout out!! He gave you creds for your technique on how print and place the iris!! AND how much he loved your channel and what an inspiration you are to everyone who watches it... I loved it. I love the loctite gel for my warhammer minis. Pro tip: take some pliers and snippers and remove the plastic housing. There's a bottle of glue Inside that the plastic case cuts off at a little over halfway, causing you to waste a ton of glue. I can't believe how much glue I threw away before learning to take it apart
Somebody should do a trash-bash challenge with the Loctite plastic housing!

Genuinely surprising. CA glues must have improved since my scale modeling days. Back then, they had little tensile strength and zero shear resistance, especially on PVC surfaces. This week's SteadyCraftin edition was like a CNC Kitchen video!
I always come for the crafts, then the presentation hooks me again and I leave with further education. Every time. My favourite wholesome fun channel.

Might have been good to have a completely untouched leg there as well, for comparison. Some glues are stronger than the material they're gluing!
MANNN, you know what - that would have been IDEAL! :/ Yes indeed. I regret not scrounging up an un-cut Ed Harris leg for this.
This holds true for wood glue. That’s why when a glued guitar body falls in the most unpleasant way it will break anywhere but on the exact part where it has been glued.
I just had brain surgery a few days ago, and a new Crafsman video is just what I needed to raise my spirits. :)

@@sclogse1 probably not, I don't think the super glue would hold skull bone together very well, although the Crafsman's soothing voice would've calmed us all down, (i had to be awake for the surgery. It was pretty intense. )

I have been repairing action figures for a little over a decade and only recently started being more current on youtube. I cannot believe I have been recommending the Liquid Loctite only to watch this and see the Gel Control reign supreme! I just found your channel and my wife and I absolutely love you and your ideas. I am fascinated by glues, so I enjoyed this experiment very much, it is a pity I cannot buy that SCI glue where I live, but , if I ever see it, I will buy it (ordering online from the USA is no option as the shipping it pretty high!)
I get what you're saying , I'm in the UK and just ordered a tube off Ebay which came to about £25 , BUT how many small , measly tubes of Loctite would you need to match that amount ?
@@hannya66 I cannot use Loctite, it swells my face, I am allergic to its vapours and to Araldite ( epoxy glue), so always interested in new options... I wish I could get a new one. E600 is another problem to buy, It was available in Spain but not anymore, some problem with EU regulations.

Crafsman, baby ain't you never heard of Project Farm on youtube? This guy THOROUGHLY tests just about everything and shows his work. He has a video on which brand of Super glue is the best. Not only does he have videos on Super glue but also hot glue, and epoxy.

I use the loctite with easy squeeze sides myself... I've worked some miracles with that stuff.

Hey Crafsman! Not sure if you've heard of it, but Zap-A-Gap is one of the best CA super glues I've ever used. I use it on my 3D prints, and it bonds them instantly and holds very well - even on butt joints. It also seems works on many other materials as well like metals. Just though I'd mention it in case you wanted to check it out.

Locktite gel control ALSO doesn't cloud rhinestones :) I used to use that glue to decorate phone cases back in the day I didn't know it was so STRONG
Wipe both surfaces with acetone. Let dry. Then apply glue. Removes oil and etches plastic surfaces.
