I feel like Melissa was one of those mothers who probably brainwashed her kids into thinking their father was an ass, when really he’s a good guy who really cares about his kids and wants to be a part of their lives. I’m sure if the girls were given a choice, they’d have lived with their dad just to get away from all the dance and fame and probably would’ve been off the show seasons ago.
As far as I’m aware Melissa didn’t let her issues with Kurt influence her daughters, they still had regular contact with him and his sons even after the divorce. At the time of the divorce both girls wanted to be on the show, and wanted the fame because they were kids and that sounded cool. Once they started the show, and the contracts were signed leaving was hard. Kurt possibly got of got them to leave sooner, but he would have needed a really good lawyer for that because they had to sign a 6 season contract.
Well, it's not like most fathers don't care about their kids (mine doesn't, but I've met so many good fathers in my life that I don't believe most dads don't care about their children). Kurt is a very good dad, though, you are right.

As much as people stay together for their kids, it’s better to just break it off than to stay together. If the parents don’t like each other, not only would it be hurting both parents involved, but it would also take a toll on their child(ren).

Kurt doesn't like her daughters to put a lot of time in dancing. I understand because they have to put school first before dancing. Also family comes first before dancing. Dance moms take a whole another level at so much time n sacrifice for dancing n also drama. Kurt doesn't want that. I appreciate he cares so much about maddie n mackenzie. Hope that they always get along well in the future.

I feel like Melissa was one of those mothers who probably brainwashed her kids into thinking their father was an ass, when really he’s a good guy who really cares about his kids and wants to be a part of their lives. I’m sure if the girls were given a choice, they’d have lived with their dad just to get away from all the dance and fame and probably would’ve been off the show seasons ago.
As far as I’m aware Melissa didn’t let her issues with Kurt influence her daughters, they still had regular contact with him and his sons even after the divorce.
At the time of the divorce both girls wanted to be on the show, and wanted the fame because they were kids and that sounded cool. Once they started the show, and the contracts were signed leaving was hard. Kurt possibly got of got them to leave sooner, but he would have needed a really good lawyer for that because they had to sign a 6 season contract.
I definitely think Kurt is a “good” father because at least he cares about his children unlike some dads

Melissa needs to relax. She didn’t communicate with him and given her history of double talking and lying, I doubt that the issue was beyond just him “not listening”. She needed to let him know who the children are going to be supervised by while she’s on vacation. he’s their father and has the right to know. arrangements for the girls to stay with their dad while continuing dance should have been arranged. He wasn’t checking up on her, he was checking on his children. he has a right to do that. Melissa was and will always be a creep.
