i love these kind of colorful maps that are full of memes, secrets and fun gimmicks like that old mario kart map or that cyberpunk alleyway made by the same creator as the mario kart map
this map genuinely fasinates me, the ambience is always so calm, also very good music taste, the musics on the places always seem perfect for the ambietantion ^_^ the aesthetics are like a fever dream, nobody can make maps like u, also could you be more specific where you get the images for the map plz :D? fr dood, you're one of my favorites creators of all time!!1!!11!1! A lot of the images are from so many different sources, its a little difficult to list them all, but a majority is from discord servers I frequent, or twitter accounts I enjoy. The rest is either art I found that I like from various artists, or art and memes I made myself. If there is a specific piece you are curious about, feel free to let me know! Thanks!
out of curiosity, are your maps loosely inspired by early TF2? back then, maps like harbl hotel, scarlet devil mansion, and mariokart were the shit. and for some strange reason, Touhou and TF2 went hand in hand in the thematic creation of these maps just wanted to say great work on these maps, the lethargy pool has got to be one of my favorites. really brings me back to simpler times, keep up the amazing work!!

And yes, a lot of my recent maps like this were inspired heavily by maps like mario kart and harbl hotel because I played on them constantly as a kid and loved every minute of it. Surprisingly I never played or touched much of Touhou, including scarlet devil mansion (until very recently for the first time) so I wouldnt say its as inspired, aside from random Touhou memes sprinkled in. A lot of people also compare my maps to Nipper or Conne, but I think they would be shocked to find out I have not played any of their maps yet, though I keep saying to myself I should because I LOVE maps like this. Anyway, thanks again, I cant wait to share more like this soon! Lots of plans.
Nice catch! I still find myself listening to his music a lot even to this day, its strangely relaxing. My favorite is I like to take showers - She. Fun fact: One of his songs called "Ennui" is what inspired the name for Ennui box.

Reminds me of the time I spent the last two years in a home theater with the most popular in a town of us all over and we have been very happy about this thing and I hope that we will will with our new home and will continue our efforts on this thing to the future and we 🥫

I had actually planned this map a while prior, first the name and theme ideas, then I drew up a basic sketch of the map as a 2d top down overview (You can find the sketch in the dev room) Then I model out lots of assets I plan to use for the map later, and prepare all images, memes, sound, music and such in a folder. After that I just loosely start following the drawings layout for the map in hammer, and change/add things as I go, for whatever seems fitting! The rest is pretty much just building on the fly, though I have a sort of mental image in my head how it all "should" look!
