Thanks. It feels like my IGCSE course did not prepare me at all for 'design an experiment' questions. I'm already feeling so much more confident to take mocks.
I found this video the day before my exam OMG it saved me soo goood!!! God bless you sir for all that you do - you are making a difference in the world
Thanks a ton to you for facilitating us with this useful video! Could you please also make 10 essential questions on chemistry, physics and human biology ( Edexcel o level)? Pretty please 🥺!
I can't seem to find enough information on the IGCSE. There's plenty of videos on Biology but when I look at the IGCSE past papers, there seems to be questions that really throw me off
I have a question; is there any difference between the concentration gradient and the 'diffusion' gradient? If not, is it acceptable for me to just call it the conc. gradient or will I lose marks that way?
Are you asking about the order that you write the answer points? In which case, no, it doesn't. As long as the information is there somewhere you'll get the marks. Make sure it is in a sensible structure though. Bullet point words/phrases might lose marks if they lack clarity.
You mean, are IGCSE and GCSE Biology questions the same? The specification (the content taught on the courses) may differ slightly but it will be mostly the same style of questions.
Sentences are expected but there is nothing in the mark scheme to say you can’t use bullet points. I would recommend using full sentences unless you are running out of time because students sometimes miss important details when using bullet points.
START REVISING NOW! I’m in year 11 and I’m a predicted straight 7’s student and even with 8+ hours of revision a day I only got 4’s in my mocks. I would really take my advice. Trust me😶
@@SanaKhan-pl1px ahahahah im gonna kms lmfao Im in year 10 i have mocks tmrw its 1am i havent revised very well and uh yeah im prolly gonna fail tomorrow and forget everything.
Hello sir, this video is amazing. I have one question regarding graphs: In some cases, they don't give us, which graph need to draw. The question says, just draw the graph, how to choose whether we have to draw a line graph or bar graph. Your suggestion will be very valuable. Thanks in advance.
In the design an investigation question do I have to be specific about the species of plants or can I just write down "grow plants of the same species and age under each light".
I really appreciate your time that you put into this video. Thank you Please can you give us any idea of what questions might come on the exams this session? The exam is the day after tomorrow and I have no idea of how the questions will be as there is no past paper for this current specification, and also can you please tell us if doing the previous specification's past papers will help? I mean they are totally different specifications.
Unfortunately I'm only a teacher and don't have any additional information as to what will be included, only that after looking over past papers for several years, the topics included in this video are common (of course, there are no guarantees). Yes, doing past papers on a previous specification is definitely helpful. GCSE/IGCSE specifications don't change that much from one update to the next so if you prepare with those, it'll be good practice for your upcoming exams. Good luck with your exams!!
Hi this is brilliant! please can you do walkthrough video for Igcse Edexcel biology 4BI1/1B and 2B 2019 double award as no one has done these. Thank you

It should be the concentration gradient
hi teacher, are concentration gradient and concentration diffusion gradient the same thing?
V well explained!!!!!!!!
thank youuuu
Could you do the OCR gateway higher version please
When answering investigation questions, does our answer have to be in the CORMS arrangement or does it not matter? Thank you

Science Sauce Thank you for the clarification
For the control variables in the experiment, can species of the plant be one? Alongside temperature and light intensity
Yes it can. For the specific experiment mentioned in the video, species of plant is a control variable.
thanks fr this video m8

is this for O levels or ?
is it preferable if I give all my answers in bullet points rather than a proper paragraph ?
You give a proper sentences with full detail

Amazing
heyyy... Can u please do one for natural selection?

quick question: are bullet point sentences accepted as long as they're clear or is it better to write a more discourse-like answer?
Sentences are expected but there is nothing in the mark scheme to say you can’t use bullet points. I would recommend using full sentences unless you are running out of time because students sometimes miss important details when using bullet points.
thank you!
Do these questions always come on the exams?
No - you can never be sure what will come up. These are very common themes if you look through past papers and they often come up.

Generally a line graph if for showing a change (usually a change over time), while a bar graph is for comparing things in groups/categories.
@@Science_Sauce thank you so much
I missed two yrs of teaching n they expect u to know so here I am now but we didn’t learn these so idk if it’s gonna be in the exam
Can I write my CORMS questions in bullet points just like in the mark scheme? Or do I have to write with full sentences?
I would discourage it. It’s easy to miss ideas when using bullet points. Only use them if you’re short on time in an exam.
@@Science_Sauce got it!
In the design an investigation question do I have to be specific about the species of plants or can I just write down "grow plants of the same species and age under each light".
