There is a difference science indoor vs outdoor:
Indoor I can outgrow my organics tent 2 or 3 to one with hydro/salts and can adjust what they receive in minutes. "Organic" takes weeks and months to adjust unless you are introducing things that would not be encountered in nature like teas or flushes. All these stews of ingredients would never be found in nature in these combinations of components. Does that still make it organic, even if its growing outdoors?

    • @timpage5021
      @timpage5021 2 года назад +8

      Agreed.
I grow both organic and synthetic..
I can keep pace with synthetic only if I use a much bigger pot size. So I’ve done away with the pots for my organic side and use SIP buckets and Grass Roots raised beds. They’re a lil pricey but I’ve had the same 3x6 bed going for a couple of years now.
I grow both cuz I just like to garden. And grow my own medicine.
But honestly I don’t notice a difference in quality either and neither can anyone else that I share with.

@Ouchwitz Summer Camp LLC Single use plastic packaging is a crime against the planet and humanity. We must all take steps to reduce our plastic and carbon footprint. And paying mostly for water in a heavy jug (which has a huge carbon footprint from transport) is ridiculous. All the ingredients necessary to grow world class plants can easily be obtained at far cheaper cost using teas and dry top dressings in a super soil base.
Master Mark, (AKA the Boogie Master), is getting up to 3 pound yield per 1K of light by using a super soil recipe, Boogie Brew tea, Nature's Pride top dressings and kelp-sugar water.
Testimony from an experienced grower: "Hi josh, just wanted to give you and mark a compliment. I did the same setup I do every year and it always turns out great but inevitably there will be points where I'll have some deficiencies and have to pull some lower leaves. With your regiment on soil prep alongside tea and seaweed and Brix, I literally haven't had to pull one leaf off the plants ( and I'm anal about pulling any ugly leaves). Thanks"

True about petroleum products in both plant "food" as well as human vitamins. Save the soil. However, be careful of promoting anti-petroleum propaganda. The alternatives for power create even more pollution and harm to people who are middle class and lower than gas. But people believe the story, because it sounds altruistic instead of following the process and learning the alternatives hide some ditty secrets. Just like researching companies to see if they are worthy to support, we should apply this practice to everything. Trust nothing unless you've researched without learning on others to do the work for you.

Quantity vs Quality.. I'd rather have a organic plant with higher nutritional ,brix levels ie secondary metabolites with a sensible yield instead of a impressive yield with dramatically lower nutritional content. Synthetics can grow monsters but for better flavor & terps professionals go organic.. especially if it's medical. Newbs that have trouble understanding organics and following nutrient schedules typically smaller growers use Synthetics. After researching and growing most switch to organics & veganics to push the plant & flavor/terp profile further. There are tons of scientific evidence that also supports the reason why organic is better than synthetic.. true people love huge frosty buds.

I really do believe that a well prepared and maintained soil can provide plants most of what they require to thrive. I have joked and said, that if I were to move from my current location, I would box up my raised bed soil that I have worked so tirelessly building and take it with me! Thank you for continuing to provide content such as this. There is so much to learn and so few reliable sources out there teaching and sharing their knowledge.

That dude is putting way too much faith in the organic label. Some of the most corrosive and dangerous liquids are organic forms of chemicals or even metals. Organic Mercury is likely the most dangerous form of mercury to us humans.
There's also a massive problem with "organic" meaning different things to different people. There are different certifying bodies and not all of them can agree on what is and is not organic a lot of the time. It really does get quite convoluted at times.

He lost me at deadtrients and chemicals. A big problem in this industry is its full of stoners with a lack of formal science/agricultural education.
Organic compounds are chemicals too and they're not always better or more environmentally friendly.
Synthetic fertilizers won't harm soil microbes if used correctly.
The plant cannot recognise if a nutrient had additional carbon atoms attached to it before uptake. Carbon based organic nutrients just slow the process down.
Organics only produce better quality bud when the grower isn't good, as synthetics are harder to dial in.
If you want to maximise growth rate and genetic potential you need at least some synthetics. But if you just want good bud that's easy to produce, then organic is great.

While it's nice to grow in soil that is organic or "living", plants don't discern where their nutrient were derived from. Once it gets down to an absorbable level the nutrient ion is the same. The only real difference between organic and "synthetic" fertilizers is in how they are made. Synthetics use energy, oil and electricity, to pull Nitrogen out of the air, Haber-Bosch effect. Organic uses the soils own microbes to break down the nutrients already in the soil that are in the form of organic mass that contain these nutrient ions. Also, "synthetic" nutrients don't "kill" microbes. Microbes go dormant when they don't like the conditions like pH too high or low. I know this because I've personally tested a lot of these so called "synthetic" fertilizers and many, not all, but many are fine for microbial life.

John starts the episode by saying how this company will deliver to “anybody anywhere”. And how GOOD their customer service is - okay.
We’ll - that’s not true from my experience with them. They didn’t even bother to respond to my email… FACT.
And I also don’t agree with you that it’s extra work or difficult to pick a phone up and ask the shipping company, that they deal with every day, for a price to another country. It’s easy peasy.
I send stuff from uk to Thailand all the time. It’s dead easy. They pick up from my home and away they go… job done.
Anyhow… Luckily I’ve found a brilliant USA company that let you use their USA address… you buy and send to them… and they ship my goods to Thailand for $150 bucks. Happy days 👍

@@dmo848 I'd recommend you add sensizym and Rhino skin to that.
I also use Voodoo Juice,B52 in veg and Nirvana in bloom. Then Overdrive
Here's a useful summary of what each bottle claims to do.
B-52 - B-52 is in fact a vitamin boost for your plant, containing lots of Vitamin B, it has B1, B2, B3, B5 and B7, next to the vitamins it also includes seaweed & kelp extract. Like every vitamin, it helps the plants health and also profusing the flowering. This means a boost in vegetative growth and increased floral production. Vitamin B causes the plants metabolism to speed up and gives it some stress-relief. They also included folic acid and humates which also increase metabolism and cell replication.
Rhino Skin - Rhino Skin is in fact our silica. Silica is used to strengthen the plants cell-walls, which then increases the plants resistance to fungi and insects. It also helps to make the stems of your plant a lot stronger and also much thicker. It also causes the plant to uptake more CO2 and higher nutrient absorption. Rhino skin also reduces the water loss through leaves which can help guard against wilting. Wilting is a process where the water is lost through the leaves causing the leave to roll up on itself and therefor making the surface of the leave smaller.
Sensizym - Sensizym are your enzymes, these are proteins that boost the breakdown of organic matter into other forms. This basically means, it cleans up your roots, getting rid of all the dead roots and making room for new ones. In the process it creates new nutrients for your plant.
Voodoo Juice - Voodoo Juice is a powerful and very concentrated blend of beneficial microbes. They inserted 12 Super-strain microbes into this formula that will help your plant against root-diseases, breaking down the nutrients for better uptake and stimulates root-branching and root-mass.
Piranha - Piranha is a blend of beneficial fungi, they have the same purpose as the microbes found in voodoo juice. These fungi break down the nutrients for better uptake by the plant, and protect the roots against diseases. They basically work alongside the microbes found in voodoo juice.
Tarantula - Last in our list of root expanders we have tarantula, it also consists out of beneficial microbes, in fact another 11 Super-strain microbes can be added to your root zone. These microbes form colonies around the roots to protect them from diseases, feeding them oxygen and breaking down the nutrients for better uptake.
Nirvana - Nirvana is a whole range of natural foods, it contains alfalfa meal, earthworm castings, humus, seaweed extract, yucca extract, bat guano and a mineral called azomite. These foods increase the natural oils and terpene production within your plant. Nirvana bridges the gap between naturally grown and hydroponically grown. As an extra it also boosts the speed of growth.
Bud Factor X - Bud Factor X is a product that fights your plants immune system, triggering it to defend itself without causing any harm or stress to the plant. The benefit of that is, that it will cause the plant to produces more enzymes and therefor strengthen your plant against diseases, pests or stressful environments. Another benefit of increasing the level of enzymes is that the plant starts to produce high quantities of essential oils, significantly increasing the final weight of your plant. Last but not least, it also carries traces of magnesium and nourishes the beneficial bacteria in the root-zone.
Bg Bud Coco - Big bud coco contains a wide spectrum of yield-boosting and flavour-enhancing ingredients. One of the most important ingredients is Iron, which is also something coco tends to hang on to and therefor stealing it from your plants. It also contains a healthy dose of potassium and phosphorus which are required in large quantities during the blooming period of the plants life. Big bud noticeably increases the number of flowering-sites resulting in more buds.
Overdrive - Overdrive basically takes over where big bud ends. Its designed to optimally swell, mature and improve your flowers in late the late bloom cycle, its that final push to get bigger, higher quality and heavier buds.
Bud Candy - Bud Candy is a special mixture of sugars and carbohydrates that will give your plants a burst of energy. It also causes the beneficial microbes and fungi found in the root-zone that are being created by Voodoo Juice, Piranha and Tarantula to increase their growth and reproduction, which will make them even more effective and supercharging them to create even better nutrient uptake and resistance against diseases. Bud candy also increases the sugar levels within the plant, which not only increases the size and weight of your plant, but also the aroma and flavor.
Flawless Finish - With flawless finish, as the word says, u will use it in the last week of your grow, causing the plant to use up all its build-up nutrients within the plant, and get rid of the salt & toxic residues within your plant. This was u will end up with a more cleaner, more aromatic and eventually better tasting end product
