This is very nice. I watched the video several times and now I am excited to imitate what you do. You are nice. All love and respect to you from Iraq 🇮🇶.
I'm very glad I found your channel, for a school project I had to buy some air dry clay and this brand was the only one available for me to buy, so I'm happy I can watch this video before using it!
Hey Claybuddies! I recieve some questions about Jovi Clay and here are some of my answers. 1. Can I use Jovi for Chibi doll? Yes, I know some clayist who uses jovi for sculpting and chibi figurines. 2. Have you tried using the 2 other colors of Jovi? No, not yet and I’ll be trying it too, soon! 3. How did you describe your experience on using Jovi Clay? I really had fun, especially when I’m adding another layer of clay then blending it together ( 13:03 and 10:38 ). It’s so satisfying! 😍 4. Will you recommend it to someone who wants to try claying? Yes, you can easily buy them and the price for the grams you’ll have, not bad. And ofcourse, for me we have to try it first ourselves because maybe what works for you wont work for me or vise versa. We really have to experience it ourselves and from there we can decide if this medium is for me or not. And sometimes it’s also a matter of practice, if you really like it you have practice alot, do claying more often beacuse as we always say practice makes perfect! 🙂 *On the video and my answers are my personal opinion base on I experienced as a first time user of Jovi Clay. Spread NO Hate, Only Love and Happiness. Happy Claying! ❤️
Okok I know I'm really Really late but I have used this clay too And here are some Things i knew: When you choose the colors, White is the best choice since its very very powdery You wouldn't want blood looking clay on your hands wouldn't you (Terracotta) I personally think gray is the exact same as White so if you only had to choose any from terracotta and gray if you don't have white they yeah white (note Terracotta is also a bit hard to paint) Ok so now done using the air dry clay you store it as usual in a cabinet hoping to you use it for another day, that other thay would be unfortunate because The clay dries really fast, (NOTE I opened it and it was exposed to air) what do you do? Take it out and try to: If its too soft: Harden it for A LITTLE BIT ONLY If its too hard: Leave it in the water or change the water if its ok: Congratulations! You now have Air dry workable Clay!!
I've used both Jovi and Das. The experience is very similar, and so far I think Jovi's is slightly cheaper, it's softer and you can feel a little more moist on in than Das. But, in both cases, good luck trying to get your hands clean! Now I want to try their Pat Maché!
Thank you so much! I just bought a Jovi air dry clay from Goodwill and really wanted to use it, but I didn't have any information about this until now!
the thing is, this clay is the only clay i can find and is really cheap but i have few issues and i cant tell if its just me or not. first, it cracks alot! molding it into a shape is reallt difficult because of that. and then i have to put slip or clay over it again which is a hassle but i didnt see you having that problem. and another thing is that it dries quite fast..
I had similar issue. No matter what I do, it warps and cracks when it dries down. I have made so many things but every piece ended up being warped and cracked :(( I have no clue what am I doing wrong!!
A lady on RUclips said the no. 1 cause of cracks is it drying too fast. She said to put your work in a cupboard and shut the door and let it dry slowly. I'm a beginner so I have no idea if it would work, but it's worth trying!

thank you for this video! although, i wonder, would you recommend jovi air dry clay for making earrings that aren't flat? ive been considering buying this brand of clay to make a pair of earrings but im hesitant because that it might be too brittle (as what ive watched from the video. and the clay when molding kind of looks hard, but idk haha this brand is cheap for air dry clay so ive been wondering if its worth it for earrings.) ps. that mushroom house is so pretty🤍
I think you can buy a small pack of jovi and try it if this medium works for you in making earings because I know some people use this for making handmade pins as big as earings ❤
You can use hulma air dry clays too for earings but make sure that it wont be exposed on water or sweat for too long. Its better if the earing were dangling and you can also use it for hair pieces:)
For figurines that Im making, whether for personal or custom oders I use Hulma clay and then seal it with gloss because the clay is made of food grade materials.
Hi! I just bought 3 packs of this jovi air dry clay and after searching, I doubt that it will break (will use in for artisan keycaps) meaning maybe I bought a wrong type of clay. If you're familiar with miniature foods and stick it onto keycaps, will you recommend this?
