- Remembering today's Martin Luther King Day when I drove from San Francisco to Memphis, TN to the Lorraine Hotel where Martin Luther King jr. was assassinated. It was a very emotional experience that felt like being in a historical church all to myself one on one with God but one on one with MLK.

Had the pleasure of visiting the Lorraine Motel and Civil Rights Museum today and it literally gave me chills from the bus Rosa Parks sat on to room 306!! It’s definitely a must see....a lot to learn and experience.
Yes it is a must see. You can really feel something there that moves you.
A site such as this should be preserved.
it is
Good video bro I probably never would have seen it thank u
Thank you. It's a must see bucket list for sure.
Hey, very good video. I also visited this site back in 2010. Very sobering and emotional like you said. It is a shame that things happen like this to such great people. I share your thoughts and comments about freedom he fault for. I wish I could say things were 100% better but we both know there is a ways to go. Yes, progress has been made but still not 100%. I say all this because I wish us all to live together in peace. Life is short for sure. That's one thing we can agree on. I'm a white person and can feel the pain of the struggle of African American people in our country. There is racism of all kinds, from all kinds of people, but again, peace is only accomplished through mutual trust and fairness. I only hope to see it in my lifetime! Again, thank you for a video!
Mike Shrader you are so kindly we all humans no matter what only one peace and we together we can make things great
It was an amazing and emotional experience.
I wonder what's in the other rooms...
Was the hotel left exactly like the way it was right after the shooting or was it redone years later to look like it might've looked years ago?
Is there any body lived that in hotel?.
for public viewing as a memorial only
