    A truly tragic day in our history. I have often wondered how the USA would be different if this wonderful man had been allowed to continue to live but that was not meant to be. Thank you for reminding us of that awful sad day. RIP MLK.

    Hello Scott on Tape!
    This was a great video!!! I will be in Memphis the weekend of September 17th to see my nephew play football at The University of Memphis. I will be returning home the next day.
    Before I hit the highway, I will visit/tour the National Civil Rights Museum and Lorraine Motel.
    You mentioned how “HEAVY” it is in there. I felt the heaviness in your video.
    That’s why I haven’t been able to go see it. Lord. Everything was left right where he left it…including their cars!!! WOW!!!
    Great video Scott. God Bless!!!

    Have you read Dr.William Pepper's book 'bout the assassination trial? He along with the King family acquitted James Earl Ray of the crime.Very interesting in fact Pepper was the only one who brought justice to this event and gave some peace to the King family and some kind of closure and questions finally being answered.Ray had no trial but this one.

    I think it’s interesting that you mentioned the fbi was listening in on Dr.Martin Luther King’s calls from the fire house but the shot came from the boarding house next door.. 🧐 hmm. Thank you for this video I have wanted to go on this tour for a while now. Also the memorial for Emmett Till.

    You know, you really think about some of these cases, and how did the assassin know which hotel room Dr. King was staying in, etc? I highly doubt that if he or anyone else called the Lorraine Motel and asked which room MLK was staying in, that the motel would tell them. So, I think that someone within his group tipped the gun man off. I hate to think that was the case, but unfortunately it would make sense. MLK was a Freemason, and you may or may not know about all that. But anyway, I am going to post another link on here , which explains that the bullet found in MLK's body was not from the rifle found. The gun man did admit to having purchased 2 guns prior to going to Memphis, so, I suppose he may have used 1 and took that 1 with him when he left, and left the other 1 in his room. But I, too have been to the Lorraine Motel, but back in 1988, and will be returning soon with my sons to show them. So sad. I remember my Mom telling me about this. I was only like 5 years old at the time, and she was also watching tv when Robert Kennedy was assassinated. My parents kept a portrait of JFK and Jacqueline Kennedy in our home. They always respected whoever the President was at the time because my Dad was a WWII Pearl Harbor veteran. So, I, too always respect whoever our President is at the time. This era of time was so sad with all the assassinations and Vietnam War going on, etc... ruclips.net/video/buGlENXC5ug/видео.html

      I suggest you read the book THE PLOT TO KILL KING.written by Dr.William Pepper Esq.He writes of the inside maneuverings and betrayal of MLK's inner circle.

      I think the rooms that are "immortalized" have been changed. Too many hands in the cookie jar. Who knows how many people were actually in and out of there after the assassination, and they want us to believe this is "exactly" how it was left?

    • @jama17gill
      @jama17gill 2 года назад

      @@flowerlullaby AdamTheWoo on yt also was at the MLK Jr National Civil Rights Museum, and he asked the lady who sits outside the prperty on the sidewalk at the table about why she was kicked out of the motel. Watch his video because she explains that the rooms were different as far as the numbers. They changed the motel number as to where she stayed, I believe. She used to live there. Seems kind of weird.

    it was ruled in a court of law in 1990 that he wasn't the assassin and the shots never came from the hotel window
