I have been checking weather maps of the entire US and I think you should take an extra couple days to rest and safely make your way to Florida, as it seems like the only place on the Eastern half of the country where you will not be cold. Hey Jacob… sorry about the snow here in Arkansas… normally I could tell you a bunch of things to check out in hot springs but with the weather it’s pretty much impossible to say what’s open or not… as for your next stop it may be a little treacherous to get to but you should go south to the the big easy New Orleans
Mardi Gras is about to start. It’s something to experience once but may be overload. Plus NOLA has been getting more unsafe each day. I live an hour south of NOLA and we don’t even go there much anymore. Sad really. City has gone downhill.

My son lives there and I'm in South Florida so I haven't had a chance to go visit yet so I would love to see the area from your eyes.
Get some rest Jacob! Traveling tired, especially in bad weather is not a good idea. You could investigate the Boggy Creek Monster in Fouke, AR or Quigleys Castle and Pivot Rock in Eureka Springs, AR. Not too far so might make for an easy day.
