The good thing is, we have profile settings, so we can set stuff like low latency mode or sharpening on a per game basis. Also, well done on actually explaining the settings. That way people learn what the setting actually does and can make informed decisions about what is best for them.
LMFAO. Yeah fuck that dude. My game wouldn't stop crashing after that. I had to reinstall. I'm flagging that video... Help not eff up someone else. What's crazy is that I never had that happened and I kept laughing at my friends on next gen having crashes.
i actually watched all the ads simply because this video is extremely educational and this guy is beyond hilarious. he earner a new sub. great job guy.
Update! Had to come back and give another huge thank you to you mate!!! In GTA V I was experiencing major texture pop-in and stutters! Whatever settings I switched over fixed it big time! Thank you mate!
Honestly a good video; no one could explain any of this better than you. Thanks for the help. It did make a notable impact in my game called Forza Horizon 4, where it looked s*** before but now looks decent.
From the moment the sarcastic google part started, I knew this was going to be good. I already love this guy, fucking hilarious man. hope to see more from you so imma subscribe
i would say this is the funniest tutorial in RUclips. specially when you say "lets start Toouday" :) i would definitely see more tutorials in your page with a big thumb up.
I've read that enabling the MFAA thing disables some DX11 command stuffs that games use for better optimization, which can lower your CPU usage and lower your performance when using MSAA+MFAA. Would be interesting reading into it a lot more than I have, so on that front I'll keep it disabled for the possibility of reduced performance, until more concrete benchmarks/information is given. Thank you for the video! I enjoy the edits and your thorough research into what the settings do, helps me figure out things a lot. Another thing I need to look into is what impact the power management modes "nvidia drive-controlled" and "prefer consistent performance" have on games.
This is the kind of guide people need to hear. The amount of fucking "guides" out there that try to help people but only recycle fucking garbage is unreal. I really appreciate the time and effort put into explaining stuff and actually proving it.
you just fixed my warhammer 2 ive never seen it with so much quality and with good fps at the same time, the best nvidia Cpanel tutorial in YT(After watching many) thank you very much
gg. You got some skills making an half hour video about a settings menu entertaining. Not only that - waaay more informative than the usual blokes describing these settings. Hat's off sir. And thank you.
Thank you for indirectly pointing out to me that I am in fact NOT a pro gamer and should just be happy that my games look nice and run relatively smooth, most of the time. Great overview, much appreciate!
Thank you for this video, even its 8 months ago, it still useful, your method is way more useful than other RUclipsrs. I have tried other RUclipsr's setting, and turned out, my laptop temp is higher than before and it make me uncomfortable to play. I have tried your setting and my laptop temp is now lower than it used to be. Also my gaming performance doesn't drop much. Yeah, I love your explanation too, it make me understand about those setting. Thanks you!
So, my new computer arrived this weekend and I wanted to make sure I was getting the best out of my system and graphics card (GeForce RTX 3090 24Gb). I don't really understand all the different options to be honest, so I watched Panjno's tutorial and followed his instructions. Tried out some games and they all looked absolutely SHIT!!! Games look way better on my laptop that I bought in 2016 (with a GeForce(R) GTX 980M graphics card), so needless to say I was super pissed at how shitty games looked. I even thought maybe something was wrong with my new system and considered sending the PC back to the seller. After freaking out for about an hour, I came across your video and went through each step of yours and launched a game after each step. The image sharpening was causing the problem! Just switching this off made everything look so so much better, what relief... Anyway, I followed all of your steps and holy shit I've never seen games look this amazing. Thank you for this video, you saved me from another meltdown.
This comment was awesome to read - I'm really glad you were able to fix the settings and make everything look the very nice wan ;) Enjoy the rest of your weekend dude and stay safe!
image sharpening is very good but you need to lower the intensity. Trust me games will look a lot better but if you playing at the native resolution of your screen (as you should) put the intensity at about 30-25, and ignore film grain to 0,15. Games are sharper but not too much and the image is a lot cleaner especially if there are aa settings like taa which blurs the image. Panjino just let it to 50 intensity and that is too much if you're on a native resolution
I stopped paying attention to the actual settings and just started enjoying the commentary haha. Dude is funny af and deserves the view and subscribe haha. 10/10
I followed these settings and got 12 - 17 more frames and surprisingly my GPU draws less power as well as keeping a stable clock speed. Good stuff man, can't wait for GPU overclocking video. :D
The intelligence about the subject sprinkled with asinine rambles, condescending remarks, and splashes of humor...works. Thank you for the in-depth explanations
brooo , i just clicked this clip of curiosity and i m happy i did, love everything about it, especially the speach, a lot of details explained . GG my mna , keep it up . follow . good laugh as well :))
Idk if it has changed since you made this video but DSR just allows you to downsample 4k or anything else to your native resolution. You have to physically apply the new downsampled resolution in whichever game it's being used in, so there is no reason to have it off if you intend to use it at all.
True dude, you're right! It's weird you should specifically mention that setting because I watched this video yesterday as I'm currently working on the updated one and I thought the same thing haha. It doesn't affect anything until you set it up in the game, so you could just select everything in the control panel to give you more choices. Will definitely include this in the updated version, thanks man!
I am really glad you did this much research on both your vids, I was srsly annoyed that most of the other RUclipsrs suggest that you should be using prefer maximum performance at all times... I would have also never guessed that setting texture filtering to high performance would DECREASE the performance worse than performance and quality like wtf Nvidia just remove those settings LOL
I never thought I'd make a comment on such video topic. But your way of explaining is awesome. Zero regret for 24:20 minutes spend (add pausing replaying etc.. which estimates around 40 minutes). Great video!
Hi Shogoz, thanks for the informative and entertaining video. Under power management mode, I only have 2 options (I have the nvidia geforce RTX 3080) which is "Normal" and "Prefer max performance" Do you think that "Normal" is the same as "optimal power" in your video?
You made a generally boring topic into a decently entertaining explanation! Thanks for not copying all the other useless and uninformative guides. *Laughs in 4K HDR 144Hz G-Sync*
