Absolutely. And it allows for the joy of just being in VR to be experienced with minimal effort, beautiful artistry and non-invasive controls and UX really help this
I love your channel! I need more hole in one guides! Or at least strategies for each hole. Some of those new levels are killing me! Keep up the good work!
Thank you! After this month I should finally have time to get back to all the content you've asked for, and the content I want to be making. Thanks again for the support :)
I have just bought the basic version last night and i had a very good fun. Didnt know that there is so much more to the game than just hitting the hole....this was also my first ever mm multiplayer vr game and it was so fun ;)
I started with tourist trap, an easy, well designed course. That reminds me of those mini golf locations I used to go to. simple stuff like water streams and rocks. some bridges, sloped greens. . . I love a mini golf game that is designed after those fancy real life mini golf locations. And when you get to walk around in them in VR, it's a dream. I was in for a treat when I found out how many courses this team actually designed.
Thank you so much. I had no ideal you could use the grip button so your ball won’t time out and I have played for 2 years. I am so embarrassed. 😅 And please bring back the course guides. Especially the newest one that hard level, hole 4 is killing me 😂 and if you wasn’t so good at this game I would play a round with you 😂😂😂 Thanks again!!!
Please bring back the course walkthroughs that you originally did for some of the early courses! They were so helpful and fun to watch and learn new things!
I will do, I had wanted to get this video done for ages now, and had to shelve it once, which cost me a lot of time. Based on the positive reception I’m going to get going with more guides
Love your videos, your beginner video helped me when I picked this up first on Quest 2 back when this had only 4 or 5 courses. Hope to play alongside you again one day see you in the discord and keep up the good work.
Fantastic video, as always. My wifey just downloaded the game, so I will definitely be sending this to her. Are you planning to do more course guides any time in the future? Those were great videos and I feel like some of the DLC courses could really benefit from your expertise (looking at you, Upside Town)
Thanks for the awesome video! Although I downloaded this game around 2021 or so I stopped playing and just got recently back in so this is a great refresher!
I watched a video where you said that you have a full room which is good for when you want to walk about the 3d map. As most people are not lucky enough for a full room in which to play I'll share what my nephew showed me, he said it is called phantom walking, I don't know where he learned about it but he heads towards the boundary then he rotates the thumb stick and either left or right and the map or area you are in turns round it that direction, it seems like you have more walking room than you actually have doing this. I find it good for getting inside the 3d map area for a better look
When you first start do you go to each of the 8 courses in order to collect the balls? And can you play by your self and collect them? For a newbie what course order do I go in and do I look for balls in each course? Is there a video for newbie newbies such as I?
My problem with this game has every time I go to putt my character, teleports pretty much right on top of the ball and I have to keep adjusting and turning and all this other crap.
Is this game fully playable sitting down? I just tried playing pistol whip standing and my balance is rubbish and was not stable on feet. Don’t help that I have slight disability and motion sickness of psvr2. If anyone plays sitting down, is it fun or really awkward?
Looking for information on what looks like plasma or ghost balls in walkabout golf. Have not been able to find information on them. Is it a glitch or what?
Once you’ve picked up a lost ball, the location is marked by a ghost outline, so that if you want to help someone else with their lost ball search, you can still see where they all were
OMG!!! ....... i have played Walkabout minigolf for around 45 hours now and i didnt know that if you held the grip button you could prevent your ball from timing out ...... i like this game so much but always thought it was annoying that your ball keeps timing out just a second to soon all the time 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 i feel soooooo dumb mannnnnn .... 🤣🤣🤣😅 plz tell me i was not the only one .....🤣🤣🤣
So happy to see comments like this, it’s for exactly this reason that I wanted to make this video. It didn’t used to be a feature (talking years ago now though) but since it was brought in not everyone knew. Also surprised by how many didn’t know you can fly
@@InnerPrincessVR Well thank you for making the video !!!!🔥And i will be telling my friends about this video and this feature so they can also live frustration free when their ball doesn't time out immediately 😂😂👌
You certainly can. You can use the trigger to take you to your ball position and ‘lock ball position’ to keep it always in the same place relative to you. If you wanted to be higher up you can also fly up a little, or I think there may even be a raised position setting within Meta’s menus
@@InnerPrincessVR Thank you for your help and quick response. I play on the PS5 with PS VR2, are you aware of any settings with these devices?. I will definitely try the flying method, trigger and lock ball. It seems like such a good game 😊
I've just bought the Whole in One Bundle on Quest 3. Can't wait to play through the entire game from the oldest to the newest courses! I'm also happy I can invite ppl to play the DLC courses with me even though they don't have it. That's amazing news
My wife tried to change her avatar and nothing but male faces came up. Not many selections were there. Maybe were are not seeing the options to do more? We spent 5 minutes or so trying.
@@andyandrews55its an art style its not made to look realistic. If they did try and make it realistic it would probably have some lower quality textures to increase performance and it just wouldn’t look good.
This game shows, how a simple concept, executed flawlessly, is such an amazing experience, when using VR.

I’ve been playing this game for several months and still learned something! Thank you
Happy to have helped 🤓
I just got started & I'm hooked , best game so far for me
I’m already quite experienced with WMG, but I still watched this video all the way through as it was just so well presented!

You do such fine work. Thank you!
Love your work!
Thanks for your videos, very interesting. It would be nice to have How to videos for all the courses, some holes are really difficult!
I’ll be working on them soon 🤓

You do a great job👍🏻. Thanks for all your videos
“Let’s talk about balls” 😂 great video too btw
It’s important that we talk about them
Thanks for the awesome video! Although I downloaded this game around 2021 or so I stopped playing and just got recently back in so this is a great refresher!
Amazing! I didn't know we could fly!! I've been playing for 8 months 😆
Great overview!
Thank you!

This game is amazing bought today played for 2 hours and wish I could play more but things to do ggggrrrrr
Welcome to the Walkabout world!

Sounds like my P.E. teacher

hahaha, how have I not seen this comment until now?!
Amazing video! Just thought you might add the discord for players who want to play with strangers in lobbies more than 9 holes and 2 players.
Agreed it’s a great resource

7:05 very funny :)
I see what you did with that Arizona Modern Easy "HN1" ;)
Sorry you didn’t get there first with that one, it was an honourable battle while it lasted 😜
I would love to watch the hole AME#5 HN1 shot…😉😂
So glad to have finally made that one 🥸

how to pick them up, I press the bottom of the thumbstick, I see the radius but it doesn't pick it up

I bought the game recently thinking I could play sitting on VR. First, is it possible? If so, can you explain how? Thanks!

the graphics look horrible
It’s a low-poly design style. You’d be surprised how much this improves, rather than hinders the immersive feel
