It cracks me up that this video has more comments than any other I've posted. I only had this arcade hardware set up for testing for one afternoon, then I put it on a shelf until I sold it. I had never played House of the Dead 4 before, and was just trying to make sure that I had everything working. You can even see that one of the lower infrared emitters that go around the TV has come unattached and is dangling down!
Because I'm in the 'arcade' hobby and not the 'console' hobby. I have more fun figuring things like this out than I do actually playing the games. Once I got it working I put the whole setup in a closet with plans of finding a cabinet to put it in. After a while I ended up selling the parts and using the money to pick up another project. I only played the game 3 or 4 times while testing it and never even made it past the first level. The goal wasn't to actually play the game but to learn how the Sega Lindbergh arcade system works.
Question: what I/O pcb does the game use? I’m probably going to get the game and I already have all the parts for the arcade version of Time Crisis 4. I know that the game uses the same gun sense pcb and possibly the same IR led pcbs.
Do you mean the gun I/O board? I don't have the Lindbergh anymore but I might still have an untested gun board somewhere that I could get a part number from. Should be listed in the game manual that you may find online somewhere. It's similar to the Naomi gun board but a later revision.
I have 2 buttons wired up for 1P and 2P. They light up as well. I just looked at the wiring diagram in the manual to figure out which pins to use on the I/O board.
Even Dual Gunplay doesn't work huh?.. Lol.. 😂😂 Nice Try Tom. ❤❤ Even i think about creating a Lindberg machine so that my friends and family can play it.
Yes I still have the hardware. After the video I put it all in a closet. I need to make a rolling cabinet to put it all in so I can roll it up to the TV to play. It just takes up so much room!
The power goes in via the 2 pin connector, it uses 12v. The 3 pin connector next to it is for a jumper wire that is used if you're running a gun game next to another one. It does something to prevent the guns of one cab from registering on the other. If you just have one game you don't need anything in the 3 pin connector. The other connectors are for the guns, the led bezel connector and the wires that go to the I/O board. You should be able to find a manual online with wiring diagram.

TomsProjects Awesome. I am collecting parts for mine still. Where does your gun power board plug in? I can't figure out where the 3 prong connect to.
