I've watched Mr queen, moon lovers, Alchemy of souls (GOAT of drama), my dearest, 100 days my prince...i loved them so far.. I used to ignore historical dramas but after watching Mr queen I'm totally into these. Nothing can beat historical dramas.♥️

Yes dong yi and yi San are beautiful stories but Lee San is a bit sad. Another good one is Dae Jang Geum jewel of the palace if you haven't watched it already. I think it's one of the most famous ones out there.

Many years ago, your Korean drama crew started to go to China to buy props that the Chinese crew did not want and shoot TV series in Chinese city Hengdian. The best Korean historical dramas have got to be the following:
- Dae Jang geum jewel of the palace 2003/2004
(I've watched it a few times and it is a beautiful story with moral)
- Hur Jun (similar to Jang Geum but I prefer the first one) I think Jang Geum is better but you may disagree
- Lee San Yi San wind of the palace (a wonderful story but it is a bit sad)
- Jumong (I've heard lots about it but I haven't watched it myself)
- Dong yi (I'm currently watching and I think it is very beautiful, recommend it definitely)

I have watched 19 of the 25 listed. Historical is my favorite kdrama genre. There's just something about them that draws me in and keep me interested to the end. I have abandoned some kdrama series that aren't historical but it's so hard for me to give up on a historical series.
