I added a Marvel-ish ending to this vid ;) This guy was fun to paint, especially the visor. I toyed with doing a NMM gold visor like an astronaut, but I thought it would clash too much with the orange.
i guess Im asking the wrong place but does anybody know a tool to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost the password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
You absolutely could use white and black to change the hue of the blue. Blue is a color that works great for that. Sometimes I do - but some people get intimidated by mixing their own colors so I figured I'd use as many premixed colors as possible.
Can't find Vallejo German Grey anywhere in the Indy area. Found only one store that sells Vallejo and they don't have it. Can you suggest a substitute or describe what you were aiming for in your paint choice?
I've got Nuln Oil Gloss, but my Agrax Earthshade is also labeled a gloss, and yours is not. Will that matter? That should just add some additional shininess, right?
Yeah the gloss should be fine, it makes deeper shadows and adds shine, but if you spray it with a matt varnish afterwards, all the shine is gone (which is good, IMO)

Nice job

@Carlos Colton Instablaster ;)
Amazing work. The best painted soldier from Nemesis i have seen so far .
Thank you very much!
Great job, love the visor. And the mid-credit scene one of my absolute favorites.
I was wondering if anyone would notice that :) I figured most people would have clicked away during the credits. I love that movie too - a LOT haha
Incredible paintjob. I wish I had time and skill to paint my minis this way.
Thank you - and yeah, finding time is the hardest part!
Nice job on the Soldier! A question: why do you use 5 shades of blue vs mixing one shade of blue with white in different proportions?

Army Painter Necromancer Cloak or half Abaddon Black + half Mechanicus Standard Grey. It's just a really dark grey color.
@@HeroesBosses Awesome. I have all three of those.
Stunning
Thank you Shane!
Spray-on anti-matte spray, I presume? Where do you get your gloss varnish? Would Citadel have it?
I use Testors Dullcote or Army Painter Matt Varnish (both are spray on). Then I used 'Ardcoat Gloss Varnish from GW, it's brush on.
Though Liquitex has both brush on matt and gloss varnishes, which you can get at Michaels and other hobby stores.

@@HeroesBosses Thanks. Love your vids. Will you be doing the remainder of the crew? If so, I believe I'll need to join your patreon.
@@watsonsd1 I just finished the Captain. I plan on doing 1 per week until Zombicide: Invaders arrives, then I'll alternate between those games :)
@@HeroesBosses Awesome. You just got a new subscriber. Looking forward to seeing your work.
What background music did you use in this video?
I used free songs from the RUclips audio library. For these ones I searched for "synthwave"
What did you add at the end on the soldier’s visor? It looks shining
That was a brush on gloss varnish - 'Ardcoat from Games Workshop
Thanks. Do the others players! Your painting is brilliant
@@lucadegiuliani5411 I will, and thank you :)
Where do you get your figures from
All my figures come from board games on Kickstarter.
You left Ogryn Camo off your paint list.
Thank you Sean! I'll add that to the list.
