I really needed some storage for all of my table saw gear so I made a cabinet! Now that I did, I don't know why it took me so long to do it. If you haven't made a table saw cabinet then I highly recommend doing it. It's a game changer for shop organization!
Looks great matey. I have a big space just under and to the right of my table saw, where I keep all the mistakes I make ( It's about 50feet by 50feet lol )
Awesome video and cabinet! I love watching your shop organizing videos, always practical and something that I would personally want to build! Well done
Here at rescue woodshop, (a tiny shop) i have probably made as much of this stuff as I have projects. Thing to remember, don't make something perfect for your stuff so if you get a new thing, well, now it doesn't really work. I try to design for future expansion or upgrade. And sometimes it even works!😏 It is a nice cabinet though. Two thumbs up from ("why is it so hot?) Utica.
People aways overlook the slots in the foot of the press and that the power head can swivel. If you make the cabinet front to back deeper, say 6,8 -ish inches and base floor. The hollow created with various straps or clamps mounting for long stock, for end boring long stock by pushing back the press and rotate the head, counter weight in base. Hollow can also store special fences and flat jigs.
Why put them in the drawer? If the tool has a specific purpose put the tool next to the materials. In the video you've got plenty of room to hang the wrenches next to the saw blades. Note that I TRY to do that in my shop. I just made a special hangar for the cordless grinder with space for spare flap disks (and other accessories) and made a special place for the wrench. ...One screw that's all I needed.... ...then I had to grind the head off. So much for forward thinking.
@@NewtonMakes Oh for sure, I wish you the best too. I was not trying to be negative, but share my real thoughts as I was watching your video. I watch a lot of your videos, but the first time to comment. Wish you nothing but the best.

Great job, excellent idea.
Thanks!
Nice

Oh, I have a hole in the backyard for all of those.
A great idea and an equally great job completing it. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for checking it out. So far it's working out great!
Nice. To change blade angle, do you need your remove a sled? Is there enough clearance to comfortably rotate the silver wheel at that point?

It was DESPERATELY needed. I give it a week and I'll be disheveled again.

Totally agree. Shop furniture is disposable to me. Things change. Needs change. And I always need an excuse to buy more tools!
I’ve been considering something similar to this on both the left & right sides of my TS. This may have nudged me into starting this project.
Thanks
You won't regret it!
"Even though I've built up a sweat from cleaning my shop, I just need to take a break and design a..." is one of the most relatable comments ever.
It's like being full from dinner. Your desert stomach is still empty.

Nice hat. Where's it from?
Bad to the bone! Thanks for sharing; on my to-do list.
Maybe it took you a while to make , but it’s way better then mine congrats 👏👍🏼
Thanks, as long as our stuff works for us then that's all that matters.
How about your blade changing wrenches? You said you change blades alot
I keep it in the pull out drawer

Turned out nice, but dude...you need to slow down and breath. BTW, looks like you need a new crosscut blade. And not a Diablo
Sucks that this was your takeaway, but I still appreciate that you took the time to watch. Wish you the best nonetheless.

Nothing wrong with a Diablo Blade . They last.
