- This is a compilation of all the Halo 3 LASO videos trimmed slightly for time, so if you've already seen those, then this doesn't have any new content. The Halo 2 compilation is by far the most popular video on our channel and brought it the most new fans, so we figured it makes sense to put up a compilation for each game. If you've already seen our videos, then you can probably ignore this one.

Although it was a battle - I don’t believe halo 3 LASO was harder than halo 2. Just listen to your reactions after completing levels on h3 compared to h2. One is: “hmm only an hour, nice.” And the other is: “YEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSS FINALLY”

I got a random thought to run through every game on legendary. It was a great experience but god-damn was it frustrating at some points. But hey cool Halo 5 armor as a reward ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@@221Prohunter we got to a bad point in ce in the Library that should have taken us slow pokes like 3hours but wound up taking 7 god damn hours thanks to a horrible check point! I guess the appropriately named "regret" and dreaded gravemind will test our mateship haha we've decided to n/a work for those days and dedicate the entire day to trying those notorious missions out
The Cultivated Bogan My friend actually lagged out after spending about an hour and a half on the Library and we had to reset, almost gave up after that. Had much less trouble the second time but we had less fun with that than T&R by a long shot. At least watching the grunts blow everyone up was entertaining unlike bashing a group of flood for 5 minutes straight. I think if it wasn’t for Grunt Funeral I wouldn’t have had the patience to do CE in general and the lack of any helpful skulls plus the Assassins skull in Halo 2 just sounds unfun. I wish they had included the “Infinite ammo but no shield” skull for coop, could have been a fun trade-off.
But the worst thing of all is that sometimes when me and my friend completed a mission in Halo 2 it would just back us out during the final cutscene and not count the level, and I don’t know if I could stand having to redo one of the two awful levels.
I understand ur love to do it in order canonically dude but to get the maximum amount of enjoyment I'd reccomend doing halo 2 last. Good luck with it!
If you want to complete Halo 2 LASO, or any for that matter, you have to stop viewing one mission as just a mission. It's its own challenge that you start to master through multiple attempts. Cairo Station took 3 full nights and Gravemind took 2. A few other "easy" ones required some breaks. Some took under 20 minutes. We did Regret in one sitting and innovated a two-man frag/rocket jump combo with only one rocket. Recognize that you'll learn the missions and overcome. It took my coop buddy and I about 60 hours to do H2. Sometimes a step in a guide didn't work for us and we made our own solutions as we grew in our understanding of H2's mechanics.
It was amazing how we finished Cairo Station. We got disconnected from the servers close to the end of the mission after making very slow progress. We ran it again and it felt like we were unstoppable. That victory set our attitude for everything to follow. You can beat it too.

Blind is easily my least favorite skull. I can understand removing the heads up display and crosshair, but not even being able to tell what weapon you're holding is just plain bullshit.

I just recently beat Halo 2 on legendary on MCC. That was a journey. But watching you guys do LASO makes me wanna start up that playlist now.
Halo ce on laso is hilarious as fuck. It revolves around timing grunt kills well, so that you blow up the elites. Its surprisingly fun
Did a legendary Halo 1 run. The only part of that that was properly unfair was the beginning of Two Betrayals.

The error 15 minutes happens everytime one person goes to the first checkpoint on that level without a teammate

Man, I've been attempting SLASO Sierra 117 for 15 hours now. I am praying that I can finish it in 19 lmao.
@@alfa_q Bring lots of weapons forward with you ( its alot of running back and forth but at least you have a pile of weapon close to the next area of combat ), especially into the bit that gets closed off after you enter it. ( where Johnson is ) either by duel wielding and dropping it or swapping and dropping as you move forward. Fire the charged plasma bolts to the spot where the brutes jump to. It is a bit of a guessing thing but you get the hang of it. --- I prayed.
The real Halo 3 LASO experience is beating the entire thing by yourself and realizing it didn't count because you didn't pick the stupid playlist, so you beat it a second time out of spite.

A friend and I have been playing Halo 2 with Iron, feather and Swarm on Legendary, and the level Gravemind took us about 3 hours
Admittedly one area where you have to fight 2 hunters in a small room filled with weapon crates, with swarm (makes hunters stronger) and feather (hit objects move more) is not a great combination, probably got killed by flying boxes as many times as being directly hit.
With those skulls on, you might as well try full LASO for the achievement.

I just got the Katana and I haven't felt this happy in a long time (which is really sad), and now I discovered that there was an extremely Legendary armor that was only given to those who did something that impressed Bungie, but around when Reach came out they gave it for free ["ruining the Armor's legacy"], and that's a bit depressing.
