After not walking and doing grenade jumps for so long, driving a forklift must feel like driving a ghost.
This might be one of my favorite comments on youtube. Idk im a huge nerd all this lore knowledge and bam. F*** reach. "Master chief, Defend this forklift."
IF you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, if you can't crawl then grenade jump.
But whatever you do.
Defend the forklift.
Imagine being a poor farmer on a planet that is being attacked by the covenant snd the group of most elite soldiers drive past you in forklifts

How do I get a kill with it? I want that achievement
Cheaf Min kill most of the enemies and leave one or two grunts then just repeatedly try and ram into them and eventually you’ll get it. At least, this is what I did to get it anyway
This is why Reach fell.

Me and my friend drove a Gauss-hog into an elevator and it bounced around like Master chief without his seatbelt and killed both of us

Its almost like the devs knew someone was going to do this so they just stuck forklifts everywhere that no one uses
I didn't even know you could use forklifts until I accidentally got into one during a fight and died
mahat parthiban I only found out about forklifts when Reach came to the MCC. I had Reach for Christmas in 2011, and kept playing it all the way till this summer (was too busy/tired from work)
The forklift has a covenant glossing beam. That's why I use it

Try playing Titanfall 2 without Shooting! It’s an incredible campaign that I feel like it can be done, especially since you’re given a cloak and you can bypass enemies entirely.
Good luck against viper. That's all imma say. it depends on what "shooting" counts as though.
Outcastsage9033 theres a titan class that can launch itself into the air, right? Just use that to get to vipers level (he also occasionally goes to the ground I believe)
Alex, I think he means in regards to the missiles, as Viper has seemingly unlimited access to the Flight Core. This I believe can be countered at least a fair bit with the use of the Vortex Shield, by collecting the missiles and then launching them back at Viper.

Halo reach will always be that one game that makes you sad, bungie's way of saying good bye. However, the Space ship part is perhaps the most fun of the game.
I'm so happy Reach is making a comeback. I adore this game so much.
The forklift came in clutch so much I can just imagine flicking right during the Pillar of Autumn cutscene showing you a forklift sitting inside the ship instead of the Master Chief

I never thought that engineers could be so dangerous in this game.
On ONI: Sword Base, instead of taking a forklift up the tower, outside in the courtyard before the shotguns/Hunter area, there is a small truck/trolley thing. One person can sit on that instead of a forklift and it handles much better. As long as you don't get it caught on a chair later on like I did once... I used to mess around with that thing and going up the tower with it a ton as a kid.
Also, on New Alexandria, you can board a Banshee and break its wings off and fly that through the hospital. Much easier. People use Banshees for speedruns on Legendary.
Could've hijacked a banshee, shoot the wings, and fly into buildings for New Alexandria

I've hijacked banshees there before, that's how you get the phantom if you've activated the secret switch

@@AccessGaming11 I only mentioned it because I once played Serious Sam TFE with only rudder pedals and a throttle. It, uh... works, and you can get a bit used to it and play, but damn is it ever strange.

You can also just steal a banshee on that level and drive it through the doors. Ive done it.

Hahaha I love this, recently did some halo reach gameplay with my old childhood friend and we were doing LASO and decided to protect the forklift from sword base as well, and such "Betty the forklift" was born through tedious, respawning struggle!
I would've suggested using the speedrun trick for the hospital part and break off the wings of a banshee like you did with the ghost.
You could have stole a banshee to get into the doors.
I wish i had your free time to do these challenges and your patience! Kudos man! I love these videos!

Technically, yes. The original Xbox and Xbox 360 could auto-boot discs when the console was turned on. So, you wouldn't be launching it to play; the console would.

You can actually get the warthog over the barrier in the second level much easier if you shooters corners of two of the barriers and drive between them quickly.
The real challenge is beating in a legendary with all skulls without walking
I love the fact that the forklift is one of the most important pieces of this run. I knew it had a purpose!

Note for New Alexandria - I believe you could still beat it if you get hospital first, as you can steal a banshee from outside via jumping out of the falcon. It usually doesn't fit but you can damage the wings enough to get it through the door, from there you can fly through that entire section and kill anything using the banshee's weapons.

Because if they ran into a enemy they wouldn’t have their gun ready and they would have died
Also, that would count towards the condition (no walking which can extend to anything invovling movement of legs e.g. sprinting or jogging, jogging is what player avatar does)
