Because Chief's inspired by biblical stories that have an angelic being falling to the planet in some kind of abstract meaning or analogy. Halo 1 you crash on the ring, halo 2 you fall onto the ship then get shot down in New Mombasa. Halo 3 you fall from the forerunner ship.

Driving the hog into the scarab is one of the most fun things to do in halo 2. I aldehyde have fun trying to keep the same hog through the entire level
So they beat it without running, driving(kinda), and shooting. Now when do we get Beating Halo without using a controller

There's a trigger on the outside of the control room building that will send you right into the cutscene and brings your banshee into the hallway.
Don't forget to use your checkpoints with the vehicle sections. If you lose too many vehicles, just revert and save yourself some time. Now I dare you to beat H2A EASES: Easy All Skulls (Except Scarab)
10:50 if you got in a ghost and damaged it so that the side skirts come off you can easily get through the building and into the scarab with less faff

I think this challenge would’ve been so much incredibly easier if there was only one or two skulls on.
Cairo Station Fun fact: When i played the original halo 2 on my PC, i didn't have to wait and kill all the buggers. I jumped down the elevator and once you kill a certain amount of buggers, the enemies will open the door and come out. I did this when I tried to speedrun legendary
Honestly, the BOOM! skull probably made it harder. You didn't need any explosions to have 2x the radius. Years into playing Halo, you're familiar with how grenades usually function, messing with that intuition most likely made this whole thing harder. Lol Sputnik and Feather were the only necessary ones for grenade jumps.
