  • The plastic K5LA air horn is back, with a twist! This time I modified bell number 5, the highest pitched note, to produce a high pitched "squealing" noise as the air pressure changes. This is a relatively uncommon, yet amusing issue that can be heard from some real K horns when fouled. I did this by removing any restriction in the 5 bell and loosening the diaphragm retainer, and also running with a longer air line. At the end is a pre-recording of the tuning of the horn prior to filming.
    Enjoy!

Hi! I posted a tutorial that breaks down how this horn is made a few months back. It can be time consuming, but if you've got plastic bottles, straws, saran wrap, and tools, go for it!
