Hi. This, probably the most difficult of the renovations I have followed, it was terrible to begin with, the house was very run down and how you have brought it back to life is a great success. You can be proud of yourselves and your efforts.👍

I know and understand the amount of work you both did to dig out the rocky terrain for all the plumbing. Weeks of preparation! We got to experience 30 minutes of it. I admire your stamina. Please don’t become forlorn, you’ve come a long way. Prayers and best wishes.

Hello again. I admit to getting excited. It seems like lots of small ( some and others not so small) finishing touches are being done inside and the plumbing connections outside you are almost there! Question how many passes does the floor need of the linseed oil and does it have to
Be reapplied at intervals? See you next week.

As visual creatives I imagine it must feel so good to clear out the terraces and begin to organize some more of the look of the exterior. The drone shots are unbelievable. Your property looks so pretty. The planting you did last year was such a good idea; actually everything you do is so well thought out! Anyone who hires you as a design team will be fortunate. The soil looks good, too. a bit of compost and you'll be on your way for planting the rest of your garden. I can't wait to see the first time both of you sit back in your living room and patio chairs and enjoy a drink and relax. Bravissimi!

Excelente trabajo....solo una observación/recomendación, deberían colocar al menos un soporte a la tubería que llega a uno de los tanques. Está en el aire en mucha distancia, lo que puede causar que se curve.

I love the way the kitchen floor is coming together. The recovered tiles have such character and visual interest. Well done! I'm looking forward to seeing the floor once the second coat has dried. Also, I'm fascinated by the last few remaining steps leading down to the village. Any traces of the old path? It would be marvelous to restore that connection in some way.

Excellent solutions and the installations looks like it is going well. Regarding the outside trench work, I would suggest that after adding every 5 to 10 cm of soil that you tamp it down to compact the soil. You will have less soil settling over a period of time after you walk around the area and also after it rains. Without compacting, you will need to continue to fill in the dirt to make it level again.

The kitchen floor is looking absolutely lovely. I expect the oil will also prevent anything discolouring the tile as life goes on. I expect the conclusion of the plumbing work must be a great relief. That is an interesting system.I thought that in land that freezes the water pipes needed to be 4 feet down in the earth. Is your plumbing safe from winter’s freezing grip? The remains of the old steps to the village was so interesting .Imagine the effort in getting up and down. No running out to the shop for a forgotten purchase !They must have had good strong legs.❤

Well I have loved and admired what you guys have shared with us, from your aesthetic vision to your grafting work ethic! But I must admit I think the external plumbing is misguided. To compromise those lovely old steps is a real shame (surely could have gone deeper to pass underneath, given such a hillside), and setting the tank partly above ground seems mad! The walls on those things are designed to be physically supported by rammed ballast or ideally concrete - and will degrade in UV sunshine, becoming bleached and brittle over time. Such fine attention to details of utility & beauty in the rest of the construction: this by comparison frankly looked a bodged compromise. 😮

Digging more under the stairs wasn't possible as the bedrock is shallow, same issue with the sewage pit. But as explained in the video, we will raise the level of the terrace with some soil so it is entirely buried 👍 we don't take these decision lightly, we just have to adapt our intervention to a difficult terrain

Makes sense - I know you both think deeply about all your decisions, and you are creating a treasure as a result! Thanks for sharing 😊
PS: think I missed the significance of your mentioning the pile of soil "juste au dessus" originally... was trying to improve my poor French! 😂

So smart to think ahead to future projects 😊 This was pretty labor intensive and you did a great job, plumbers here in our Florida community charge $250.00 per hour per plumber! Usually 2 plumbers per job😮 but they are necessary 😅. And thank you once again for sharing a great video! Everything is looking so wonderful
