If you plan to come on holiday to Sicily, forget denim and cashmere. Linen, linen, linen. And in my experience, you get what you pay for. I went for a walk Tuesday evening wearing a striped cropped racer back ribbed vest with white Japanese linen wide leg jeans. A guy gave me an appreciative look and nearly fell off his bike... and I am 70, with white hair 😅
I have several linen shirts and they do last a very long time. I have two that are in a waffle weave and I hand washed them for a few years and when they showed no damage I started washing them with the regular laundry. They have been fine for 10 years and are still going strong.

Sooooo sad that women did not wear clothing because of some random "rule"!! We need to ignore meaningless rules for women! We need to do what we want and what we like, not giving a rat's a$$ what others say!!
