I called Apple about the price to repair them and what they quoted to repair just one or to purchase one wasn’t too far off from each other and it still would’ve almost cost what you’d pay for a whole new set. I’m glad I didn’t toss mines and that I came across the video almost 2 years later lol. The Pros just don’t fit like these originals for me. My ear canal is just way too small and those swishy things on the Pros are kind of irritating.

We're you able to get the right AirPod cleared out? The absolute best way is to use Alcohol or Hydrogen Peroxide with a Q-tip, then blow through the speaker hard, works every time for me.

Had static and crackling when loud bass played, sounded like a blown-out speaker. This did not entirely fix the problem, but it reduced it by a lot. I may just have to clean a little more than I already did. I actually thought this sounded like total BS, but I was willing to try it instead of spending another $200 to replace my airpod pros. i always clean my airpods with q tip, and some type of clay, always looks clean but one ear stopped working at inside everything looks clean, after inhale exhale some thing came out. thanks for amazing video.

Oh my God I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this because are usually clean my AirPods with nail polish remover because I can’t get hydrogen peroxide but it’s mostly the same thing like it does the same thing and like he says it looks clean but I was literally having a mental breakdown every video I watched said just reset your AirPods I did that million times and it never worked but I literally sat there for like five minutes doing the left airport like cleaning out and it finally work after like an hour of trying to figure out what happened to it💛💛💛

Thank you so much mate, i was nearly before to send it back to apple. Worked all very fine. But 1 extra tip: Take a hairdryer after you cleaned it with alcohol and dry it, so you can melt the rest of the wax inside. After you heated it up you have to blow very hard and after that suck it in as much as you can. Mine works like they are new! Thanks for the video

OMG!! This is one of those “paint me green and call me a pickle“ moment! I’ve purchased six pair of AirPods in the last year because I always thought that main speaker kept breaking on either one side or both. The ones I have now were at that point as well where only the side speaker works. I was going to buy a another new pair this week but after this video I blew on the side speaker on both of them over and over for about five minutes and now they both work like new.!!! Ok, I did this and fixed mine. Here’s what I learned: 1. I needed to use alcohol to clean. Just a tiny bit on a Q-tip, but it got more stuff out. 2. The suction is the most important part. Mine looked perfectly clean and still didn’t work. Sound was like 95% coming out the side and 5% out the main hole. When I applied suction I couldn’t get any air to go through at all. Gentle pressure of a couple seconds each and something amazing happened. It started to move air through the AirPod. After a dozen attempts air easily moved from the back hole through the front. Tried it and BAM! Worked perfectly. Tried the other side and I couldn’t pull air through that one either. That one eventually loosened up too. They’re both perfect now!

I searched up how cause I was desperate and I found this “If you’re AirPod isn’t playing out of the ear canal speaker, try sucking on the ear canal speaker part. It sounds ridiculous, I know, but IT WORKED. Just give it a shot.” I tried and now my AirPods are working! My mom walked in and thought I was giving my airpod CPR for some reason.

You are, the best person. I thought one of three things had happened when I realized that I was slowing hearing less from my AirPods and then one day I was hearing much less I thought that they had broken, my ear had an abnormally large amount of ear wax, or I was genuinely loosing hearing at 16. I even started connected previous ear problems in the past couple months to me loosing my hearing. I cleaned my AirPods repeatedly so I never thought it was that. Then you told me to just suck in and blow out and it fixed it in like a minute. I’m just so thankful now I can stop being a hypochondriac and listen to my music
Listen carefully guys, clean out the grills with either a toothpick first or something pointy but be careful then use a q tip with alcohol to clean the grills or anything that will fit, next you suck on the tip (sus lol) untill you think thats enough and the last but most importantly use a small dry toothbrush to clean the grills, u can use the toothbrush on all three different openings to get rid of particles and there tou go thank me later

I’m not much of a germaphobe so I don’t care bahah but if you’re worried about it not being hygienic use lens cleaning wipes that are used for glasses and wipe the AirPod down. It does wonders I also use them to clean the case too 🤩

Thank you so much mate, i was nearly before to send it back to apple. Worked all very fine. But 1 extra tip: Take a hairdryer after you cleaned it with alcohol and dry it, so you can melt the rest of the wax inside. After you heated it up you have to blow very hard and after that suck it in as much as you can. Mine works like they are new! Thanks for the video

OMG!! This is one of those “paint me green and call me a pickle“ moment! I’ve purchased six pair of AirPods in the last year because I always thought that main speaker kept breaking on either one side or both. The ones I have now were at that point as well where only the side speaker works. I was going to buy a another new pair this week but after this video I blew on the side speaker on both of them over and over for about five minutes and now they both work like new.!!! Thank God I saved the other pairs I am going to do the same today I’m sure they will work.!

Ok, I did this and fixed mine. Here’s what I learned:
1. I needed to use alcohol to clean. Just a tiny bit on a Q-tip, but it got more stuff out.
2. The suction is the most important part. Mine looked perfectly clean and still didn’t work. Sound was like 95% coming out the side and 5% out the main hole. When I applied suction I couldn’t get any air to go through at all. Gentle pressure of a couple seconds each and something amazing happened. It started to move air through the AirPod. After a dozen attempts air easily moved from the back hole through the front. Tried it and BAM! Worked perfectly. Tried the other side and I couldn’t pull air through that one either. That one eventually loosened up too. They’re both perfect now!
Bro I swear to god you made my day my AirPods were so quiet because they had the same issue as your and I was gonna buy a new pair but when I used your technique they sounded loud as new that was very helpful I highly recommend the inhaling method and this video god bless you!❤️

I searched up how cause I was desperate and I found this “If you’re AirPod isn’t playing out of the ear canal speaker, try sucking on the ear canal speaker part. It sounds ridiculous, I know, but IT WORKED. Just give it a shot.” I tried and now my AirPods are working! My mom walked in and thought I was giving my airpod CPR for some reason.

You are, the best person. I thought one of three things had happened when I realized that I was slowing hearing less from my AirPods and then one day I was hearing much less I thought that they had broken, my ear had an abnormally large amount of ear wax, or I was genuinely loosing hearing at 16. I even started connected previous ear problems in the past couple months to me loosing my hearing. I cleaned my AirPods repeatedly so I never thought it was that. Then you told me to just suck in and blow out and it fixed it in like a minute. I’m just so thankful now I can stop being a hypochondriac and listen to my music

Listen carefully guys, clean out the grills with either a toothpick first or something pointy but be careful then use a q tip with alcohol to clean the grills or anything that will fit, next you suck on the tip (sus lol) untill you think thats enough and the last but most importantly use a small dry toothbrush to clean the grills, u can use the toothbrush on all three different openings to get rid of particles and there tou go thank me later

I’m not much of a germaphobe so I don’t care bahah but if you’re worried about it not being hygienic use lens cleaning wipes that are used for glasses and wipe the AirPod down. It does wonders I also use them to clean the case too 🤩
