@@ltay352 For me (I'm using galaxy note 9) you gotta go to settings, connections, bluetooth, advanced. If the medium volume sync is on but it's grayed out, then you have to disconnect and reconnect your airpods. Hope this helps.

I did both methods, except with hydrogen peroxide and when I put them back on I could not believe my fucking ears, there were literally 10x louder, THIS WORKS.

Anthony Acosta Thanks for the tip, I was curious so I tried 70% Isopropyl and 3% Hydrogen Peroxide on my left and right pod respectively. Isopropyl did the trick a little bit better than Hydrogen Peroxide, idk if that’s helpful but that’s how mine turned out if anyone’s curious! :)

They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.

Fixed it. The rubbing alcohol is a key factor here, but don’t bother with the q tips. Use a soft bristled toothbrush, it will lift out any gunk way better than the q tips will. Also Apple recommends 70% rubbing alcohol. Besides that, the video was very informative and well made. Good job.

Dude you’re a lifesaver. When I contacted Apple about my problem, they told me to mail my AirPods in and get a replacement for $70. Glad I didn’t do it.
Issue persists. It may help to check your settings: Go to: Settings > General > Accessibility > under "Audio/Visual “, check and, if required, adjust the audio volume balance slider between the left and right channels

I did that and it was too loose in my ear and fell in the sink. Now it’s in a cup of rice, hopefully it’ll work in the morning. Then I’ll try the “suck” and/or rubbing alcohol

It did work! Now my AirPods work way better than before. I left them in rice over night, tried the suck method which was pretty gross not gonna lie. None of it gets in your mouth but you can kinda taste the earwax and it came out a little liquidy. But hey it worked, I’d definitely do it again. Then I cleaned up both AirPods with a bit of rubbing alcohol, and they’re basically brand new.
I’ve cleaned my right AirPod many times and every day it definitely improved but it’s still not as loud i have cleaned everything help it’s so annoying the left is louder then the right
