That was about the most perfect apple pie I have ever seen. Best filming too. No yappin, no distracting music. Just a food artist practicing his craft. Very well done all the way around.
I had tried making apple pie two three times but was never satisfied with my experience. This time by using your measurements I have done a good job. Thanks for this realistic recipe.
If you want a firmer inside or tarter taste, save the skins and puree them, then add some of the skin puree to the filling during the filling cooking stage. The skins have the bulk of the pectin and will jelly up the filling. When I make a pie, I use about 3tbsp of skin puree and it gives the pie no discernible texture changes, but holds the fillings inside the slice during cutting and consumption nicely.

How interesting to watch and how different to the way I learned to do it. I would love to taste your apple pies. I always thought, because I was taught, that when you make pastry, you have to touch it as little as possible. You have to sift the ingredients with your fingers, lifting the flour and fat up into the air to allow air in and to keep it light. Then, using your fingers you gently rub in the fat until the mixture looks like small breadcrumbs. The less water you add, the shorter the pastry will be. I was therefore surprised to see you squashing the lump of cold dough and pressing it with your hands. I've never seen that done before. Thank you for showing me this alternative way to make pastry. The results look very professional :)
The most beautiful lattice work I have ever seen on a Apple Pie. My goodness, it looks so perfect. Is there something else better than fresh apple pie? It is a wow presentation. *****
to have a bottom crust that is completely done place a clay baking pan in the oven while it heats to baking temperature and place your pie on the clay pan. this will help the bottom crust to cook and brown along with the top crust.
I’ve never seen an apple pie where you cook the apples first. I’ve always put them in raw after tossing with sugar and cinnamon, a squeeze of lemon and dot with butter then put the top pastry on. I’ll have to try this method. Your pastry sounds wonderfully crisp after it’s cooked. It looks wonderful.
This is the one. I have a few apple trees on my orchard, which produce a LOT of apples. I need to use them up. This recipe uses a lot of apple. Thank you for existing.
After working so hard on that beautiful, intricate, time consuming topping, I wouldn't want anyone cutting into my apple pie for at least a few days..lol. Great job, chef! 🥰
Suggestion - try mixing the cinnamon powder with the sugar first to evenly distribute it on the apple slices. I love the recipe and it is certainly a must try!
Этот рецепт яблочного пирога просто завораживает! Огромное спасибо автору, что поделилась этим замечательным рецептом. Я уже представляю, какой аромат наполняет кухню! 🥧🍏✨
I make my apple pie with raw apples, cut quite small. I mix them with sugar and cinnamon, dot with butter, and add the top crust. They come out fully cooked and tender, and the flavour is intense. Another way to try. :)
Hoy lo acabo de hacer y de verdad, es una delicia! Lo recomiendo muchísimo! A toda mi familia le gustó esta receta, no mentire que sí me costó algo de trabajo hace el trenzado pero vale la pena!!! Muy buena receta!! Nueva seguidora!! ❤❤❤🇲🇽
crazy how a pie can look the same, but be made in a completely different way! The apple pie I'm used to has a much softer dough with a lot of butter and eggs, and much firmer apple filling, since they aren't cooked in advance, just left to sweat!
@@бронза.вафля.конус I think the person means that they cook in the oven and are basically steamed in that process. That is the method I have always seen. So many different ways to make a pie. The video's presentation is on point!

Its my first time making apple pie and I was little bit scared bc my dough turns out more runnier then yours but its turns out perfectly! I didnt try it yet but it looks and smells delicious!!! Thank u so much for your work 💓✨️
Thanks for adding the recipe in the Description box!! I didn't see the number of stripes for the lattice but I tried counting... 12 each way?? I'll try it, just wish I had perfect measurements & way to cut. Thanks for sharing 🤍
Hi chef, nice to greet you, what a delicious recipe, either option is great, I loved it! So crispy, you have the quality to crave everything you make. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge, be well, take care and God bless you. 🤗💐
Apple Pie is a British classic and one of the first things I ever learned to cook. Typically in Britain, we use large cooking apples like Bramley apples. Which most people don't bother eating raw. The best Apple Pie here is usually served piping hot, either with vanilla ice cream or custard. It's a great dessert to teach kids to make too because it's very simple.
The original pie originated from the ancient Egyptian "uten to" and Middle Eastern "baklava" of the Greek and Roman periods. The ancients used a mixture of flour and fat to wrap food and bake it in a dough, which was their cooking method to keep the flavor of meat and fruits intact. It was France and Spain that imitated the original pie and spread the Western-style pie crust to a wide area in the West. Outside of England, eating apples raw is not uncommon, and French women, for example, will take a bite out of an apple anytime, anywhere. The apples themselves are native to Japan, and Mr. Akinori Kimura's achievement of natural cultivation of apples has attracted worldwide attention 🍎🍏
This has got to be one of the most beautiful pies I’ve ever seen! Where I’m from we love it fresh and warm. Throw a scoop of ice cream on it OR a slice of sharp cheddar cheese on top 😊 mmm so delicious! ❤
