Heat is the enemy for your turbo and cooling system. If you live in extremely high temperature areas this could increase your chances of overheating and viscosity loss of your oil . An increased sized exhaust with a good snorkel intake will increase the life of your vehicle.

The DPF is downstream - has no impact on exhaust port temperatures.
