I had an interesting issue. My battery was weak when the bike was new and the setup tuner app did not take from the phone. After an hour of riding, the tuner adjustment now works.

Weird. Ok good. It transforms the bike. I wish they would add that to the YFZ 450 atv.

YZ250FX seems like the bike to get. 8.9L Tank + Yamaha Tuning App + Better Tires + Kickstand.
Put a lightbar and a fan on it and its a better WR than a WR.
I like the Wr250F but I'm bummed it doesn't come stock with the Yamaha Tuning App, that's a must have feature for me.

I’ve got an Apple phone I’ve got the 2023 WR 250 F it doesn’t cause any issues with my phone and I only have it zip tied to the bars the handlebar mounting mechanism It drains the battery on the phone fast. I’ve got a brand new phone.

Go to the wheel in the upper right hand corner in the machine list page. Then go to units and you can get it off metric.

Its in settings, where you can change celsius and fahrenheit.

It comes factory on the FX.

This actually is already on the bike from the factory. It has its own wifi signal that the bike uses to connect to the app. It does look like you can buy an analog tuner with a wiring harmess for the WR.
