    Excellent vid 👍I just got a used WR450F with this on it, I can connect with the wifi and can download the maps that are already on the bike but I can't send a new map to the bike I'm getting an error pop up on the phone app. It says about the batt might be under voltage (it's not), and that the map might not match the model, etc.
    Have you ever encountered this error and if so is there a fix? Thanks

    • @wetlifesports
      @wetlifesports  3 месяца назад +1

      @@0shiny1 😆 maps are a series of numbers on the graph that are fuel/air/timing and maybe the map you want to load has those settings visible so in your app you just adjust your settings up or down as needed to match the map profile. Then save it.

      @@wetlifesports Thanks bud, but I'm presuming if you alter one of the existing maps (downloaded from the bike) you would have to then upload this altered map to the bike for it to go into the ECU ?

    I have a 450 F monster energy edition and it’s just too much for me right now but is there a way to turn the 450 down to where it runs almost like a 250?

    • @wetlifesports
      @wetlifesports  2 года назад +1

      Yes, if you see my 3 different videos I needed the same thing. I detuned for about 2 months. Use the factory "slippy" map. Or you can just drop those numbers even more to further detune. Don't worry about messing things up, you can just reset anytime you need, you can't hurt it. I was very intimidated at first with the 450 but in about 10-15 hours I was good and i put it back to factoy stock. Just take it easy and you'll be fine. Just remember to get off early, don't ride it with too much fatigue. Move over to the simpler practice track when you get tired and you can work your endurace safer. Riding the beast tired is where problems occur. Have fun! GL.

    What stock map did u find the best for trail riding?

    • @wetlifesports
      @wetlifesports  2 года назад

      I haven't gotten to study that yet. I'm not a fan of her on the trails but l have wanted to try and tame it as much as possible. I since bought an Electric Motion Escape and it dominates anything I've ever ridden for super tight hairy single track or trail blazing. Been riding it exclusively the last few weeks. Yesterday here in the Thousand Islands in the tight woods and big rocks. Anyway, if you go on some of the forums you'll find some maps. I put it on the slippy one at least. You'll need lots of clutch in the tight techy stuff or she likes to flame out.. oh, i would also back your suspension clickers off front and back all the way, noting where they were to start..have fun!

      Thanks for watching. I will try later this summer. I'm traveling and in bad internet areas. Hatfield McCoy's, upstate NY with the EM Escape and wr250r. However, my 2019 450 was a bit weird. Yamaha made my button a launch button instead of a map button. Useless to me. Depending on your year, yours is mostlikely a hot swap map button. I believe you can program 2 different maps into your button. Then on the fly you can flip them back and fourth. Maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I'm 99% sure thats how it works. Since my 2019 doesn't have it i did not learn it yet. I'll see if i can ask a buddy later. Have fun. Ttyl
