Very kind! I’m just a student myself, but I’ve spent many years as a teacher of ancient languages in active methods like this, so I’m sort of teaching myself as you watch.
You remind of a mustachioed 19th archaeologist/linguist that has learned Coptic in Egypt and is now sharing it with that world. Obviously, that isn't the case, but cool to imagine! Question: How did you learn the pronunciation so well and from which source, if I may ask?
Very kind. I’m still quite a novice in all of this. As for the phonology, I researched a few sources, including books by James Allen, along with other comparative phonology like Egyptian Koine Greek that I’ve studied quite a bit.
Thank you very much for making this video about our Egyptian Language ❤😃💙
No FUCKING way there's a dude in 2023 teaching me how to speak fucking COPTIC, that's the COOLEST FUCKING THING

Amazing
Are the coptic letters complicated?
Not at all! They’re essentially the same as the Greek, with a couple added letters. See my video lessons on Patreon

❤
When you take "language exercises" literally....
Is it just me, or do we need a comparison of Coptic vs ancient Greek?
One day
👏
Google translator still can't translate Coptic, right?
Not that I’m aware of
First!!!!
You know the trip is getting real when a snail orders you to Ϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ⲛϩⲟⲣϣ in Coptic.
Haha indeed!
