That’s true buddy that’s the only bad thing about them motors orther than that they make some power with out spending alot of money Thanks for your support buddy
Good video, but 2 mistakes 1. When your engines spinning 6000rpm your Cam is only spinning 3000rpm 2. With bad Trays your Lifters can't go from side to side as you demonstrate in the block, but they can spin or steer all over the Cam lobe. (like the death wobbles on a skateboard lol)
That’s true and that’s what had happened to my cam it was moving at the roller and on the lobe of the camshaft Thanks buddy for watching my videos and for the support
How can you identify factory gem trays? I ordered from a decent rated place that sells them as bulk gum oem trays but I cannot find a part number etched on the plastic anywhere and there is no outside wrapper on part identifying it. I also got “oem” ls7 style lifters from ICT that also has no brand or searchable part number identifying it. Thanks
@@Nicksperformanceauto I will try and check again. Thank you for your time sir. I had a code across the lifters that was not searchable by part # online. The trays were from Glenn’s auto parts and that’s what I’m worried about.
Ya it’s not the lifters it’s the trays the china lifter trays they send u when u order lifters the factory lifter trays are thicker if u have them if not go to to Gm dealership and get u a set they better.the Chinese ones let’s the lifter move around to much
That is the biggest flaw with the l/s engine sorry design why would any company use plastic to hold a lifter
