I’m 70. When I was a kid, my doctor, Dr. Blumfield, came to our house when we were sick. He was the doctor to our entire family, babies to great grandparents. He prescribed antibiotics, a big ol’ shot in the rear end, very rarely. He advised us to sweat out a fever. Mostly we took cod liver oil and were sent outside to run around in the sun. Older folks were advised to sit in the sun as well. That was our healthcare.
My doctor who came to the house was named Dr High. Not kidding! When I got sick and he came to the house, I knew I was getting a shot of penicillin in the rear. How times have changed.
@@fredbatscheletOh God ! I remember those ! Like a harpoon in the butt cheek 😮 I'm still traumatized fruom my childhood visits to doctors and dentists. I swear my dentist was a torturer insome previous life. Fillings with no novacain and what seemed like a pedal powered drill 😢
The difference now is Blocking out the sun .toxins in the food and water.Doctors can't cope with amount of patient's.Imigration has taken over our societies.
So grsteful for parents who encouraged eating our meat first, made great soups from bone, sent us outside to play every day sun or snow, get to bed early, let our fever do its work, drink water not sugar AND BE KIND TO EVERYONE!🎉❤🎉
I've been a pharmacist for 28 years. The pattern I have seen in many, many, medical professionals (me included) is that our eyes begin to open when we have to deal with our own health issues and come to the realization that the current medical paradigm doesn't have answers to HEAL the body, but only to mask symptoms. That is when we can really start to help our own patients--after we have figured out how to heal ourselves.
It is obvious. Like, you don't know how it feels like, when your wrist is broken until you break your own. Then you start understand others with the same pain and incapacity... However, as a health care practitioner I found out that majority of people are not willing to hear your advice, even if they ask for it. Mostly they are looking for a pill or jab to end their suffering and their habits of eating are the last one they are ready to change...
Yes and people have been trained to believe there is a pill for everything. Big Pharma made sure to get that tag line out there. I am 61, never forget when prescription med commercials began on TV, I was mind blown. They say don't Google your symptoms and be your own doctor but we'll fire commercials at you 24/7 so you can ask your Dr for these meds 🙄
@@janissquirell5072 Yes. One gentleman that came to get his first refill of metformin said to me, "I've gained 30 pounds since I started on this medication. Is there something I can do to lose the weight?" I said, "Yes! and now is the time to do it--before you're put on more medication!" After I finished telling him how to make the necessary life-style changes, he said, "Isn't there a pill I can take?" I said, "No. Here's your metformin." And sent him on his way. We all get make our own choices--we just have to walk out the consequences.
There’s no money in truly healing the body. Teaching people how to avoid disease is not appealing to those who wish to get rich off of other’s misery. Masking symptoms and keeping people on the medical merry-go-round is where the billions of filthy lucre is at.
We need to know how many do called 'doctors' are actual credible medical doctors, and how many are just chiropractors fooling people with the term. Dr. Berg is one of the worst at this. I'm skeptical of these two as I've not heard of them before.
The clot shot campaign destroyed the last bit of faith that I had in medical doctors. I am quite sure that I will find better health advice on social media. I've just had it with germ theory and the pseudoscience of virology.
So you think vaccines do not work? Believe me, life was far worse before vaccines. Large numbers of children died before their tenth birthday before vaccines became manditory in the western world.
I’ve been done for years prior to 2020… anyone who still respects these clot shot pushing genocidal Nazis, is just a fool. And we should shun these Nazi genocidal doctors from our lives.
As a nurse who’s worked in both hospital and office, I can tell you that when I began in 1990, the doctors I worked for had to suddenly know everything about each persons insurance. The insurance companies have way too much control. Doctors now cannot do what they see as proper without a fight. That’s only part of the problem, but a huge part. Also friends tell me oh, even if doctors did say to do low carb people wouldn’t listen. I disagree. I think people do try to follow guidelines and they’re sicker for it.
I agree! I've been a nurse since '84. While working as a nurse practitioner in the ER, we were to treat people differently according to the color of their...CHART! Medicaid/medicare people were treated one way while private insurance were a different way. And the uninsured received far less tests in case they couldn't pay for them! It was so frustrating to practice this way.
And if you are on Medicare it gets even trickier. I retired from my government job before I was elgible for Medicare. So I elected to contnue my government health insurance coverage. It is not cheap but it is good insurance. So, for several years I was covered by my private insurance coverage without Medicare. Then I became elgible for Medicare, and Medicare became my primary insurance and my private insurance became my secondary. So, I was enrolled in original Medicare with my private insurance becoming my supplemental. I knew almost nothing about Medicare at the time but I have learned a lot since I retired. I found out that, in my ignorance, I had signed up for original medicare with a supplemental. I could easily have been talked into an Advantage plan. I have no copays, I have prescription coverage that is pretty good , and I have had three surgeries and three other stays in the hospital along with some trips to the ER and health clinics for which I have not paid one dime except for Medicare part B and my insurance premiums. Medicare has been one nice surprise in getting older. Advantage plans have their place for some people but they are ripping off the medicare system, and congress and M.edicare knows it And of course, Advantage plans are run by the insurance companies. Even my govrnment insurance company recently started offering Advantage plans. And Medicare has its own problems. Many medical services are dictated by Medicare or insurance companies so as you say, they are dictating to the doctors what course of treatment that they are able to provide. I am no fan of big insurance companoes or big pharma.
I take care of my 95 year old father and my 90 year old in-laws. Yes they made it to their 90's, but they hobble around on walkers, in pain, have diabetes, losing toes, losing teeth, basically rotting inside out and out. They take pages and pages of medication and do not have any quality of life. They tell me, "we worry about you (at 65) not eating grains or breakfast" as they eat every two hour (as told to them by some doctors) on a low fat, high sugar diet..My husband and I have been keto since 2017 and hoping that it will not be our fate. aches and pains gone, labs improved. I see no down side. Thanks to you Dr.Westman, you've helped me through the "crazy"

The two doctors whom I trust: Dr. Eric Westman (who has been promoting this way of eating for 25 years) and Dr. Ken Berry (who has built a platform on RUclips that can reach millions of people about the Proper Human Diet that these two doctors both believe in. Thank you to both for your hard work in telling the truth !!!! Keep up the good work........
@@mementomori29231 Which is exactly why I only follow these two - both of whom are "real" doctors. Dr. Berry is a family physician with 20 years experience working with his patients. Dr. Berry now educates the public about the Proper Human Diet which includes a range of ways of eating: low carb, Keto, Ketovore and Carnivore depending on one's age, physical condition, illnesses, weight, etc. Dr. Westman is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Duke University. He is the Director of the Duke Keto Medicine Clinic at Duke University and treats patients 4 days a week. His specialties are Internal Medicine and Obeisity Medicine. Here is an excerpt from his website: "I have dedicated my life to helping people with medical conditions such as type 1 and type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, obesity, hypertension, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and many others through diet and lifestyle changes. I believe that conventional medical protocols typically treat symptoms rather than addressing underlying causes. Over 170 million Americans suffer from obesity, pre-diabetes, and type 2 diabetes. Yet, the clinical research I’ve conducted at Duke University shows that this American Medical Association-recognized disease can be put into remission - without medications - through a low-carbohydrate ketogenic diet alone. The results have been astounding: 26,000 pounds lost, 98% of patients affected by type 2 diabetes off insulin, 4,000 patients and 28,000 clinical visits." Both Dr. Berry and Dr. Westman are the real deal..........

@@x2dep4u2cx I have been on dirty carnivore since the first of May; I can tell you the difference it makes in my energy and pain level; I did stray during the holidays and after about three weeks I noticed right away that my knee arthritis was hurting again; in total I lost 35 lbs regained 7 in two months; started again in January and have already lost three of those 7 lbs; I just started a new decade the 70's and I will not stop doing thing I love to do like travel or play with my grandchildren; My plan is always to use at least 4 lbs a month; slow and easy; however it is not really about the weight loss now its about how I feel.
These are very different. Keto one can get on board with but the other...when there are so many drs talking about the importance of potassium. Which one can only get from eating a well put together salad with lots of greens and micro greens. And only eating animal protein has shown to be inflammatory. But hey what do I know. I'm only 45 with a 6 pack and on no medication at all with a super healthy immune system and microbiome...as a whole food vegan....I must be doing it all wrong 😅
I believe there's an agenda behind doctors not knowing about proper human nutrition. I love both of you doctors! I have been watching your videos for about a month or so now. Keep up the great work!
Yes, big pharma and big food. Follow the money. Also, doctors fear being blackballed if they deviate from American Medical Association mantra ("guidelines").
I went on my first low carb diet 53 years ago. The summer before high school I lost 30 lbs eating only hamburger and Brussels sprouts twice a day. No 14 year old should weigh 175lbs. My mom found a tiny spiral booklet with low carb foods and I chose to drop the weight.😊
I am so disappointed to know that 2 of my favorite keto docs were both within 20 miles of me! And btw, Dr Berry, deliveries are most likely ~3am in my experience! One of the few MDs who has been practicing keto since June and because of gut issues, carnivore X84 days! Despite being retired, I am daily teaching others about the low carb lifestyle! I try not to be envious of your abilities to help others! Keep up the good work, both of you! Rita Slayden MD
It’s great that more of us that are healthcare providers are coming together and doing real thinking on disease and nutrition , and are seeing all the fallacies that we were taught in school ie Cholesterol Hypothesis , and meat and fat are unhealthy for humans . Of course now those of us that do the work and actually look at the studies regarding cardiovascular disease and the link between hyper insulinemia caused by carbohydrates , IE grains and disease know for a fact that carbohydrates and processed foods are the real culprits of systemic inflammation which will lead to cardiovascular disease . Way to go hopefully more doctors will actually get uncomfortable with the common lies that they are being fed and start educating themselves and there patients to lead a more productive and healthy life . That’s why we all became providers , correct??!! Thank you
I have prayed for this to happen for so long . Hurts knowing they destroy people with health care . Insane. Sad . Just blows my mind . They keep us in a low vibration state with food and medicine so we will never reach our true potential. Thanks . Keep up the great work .
That's the sad truth. But I find it encouraging to think about how MUCH it takes for them to keep us down: misinformation from day one, brainwashing and mental programming, chemicals in the water to block our third eye, every kind of wireless radiation, xeno-estrogenic plastics built into every aspect of our surroundings, addictive and fear-mongering video games and media, absolute trash instead of food, etc., etc. Any entity that requires that many fetters to keep it contained must be a very powerful entity indeed.
@@@BeefNEggs057 Graphene yeah. Graphene dioxide or whatever it's called. A bazillion razor blades circulating in our blood. Haven't heard much of that lately, or self-assembling nano-bots forming modems, sensors & transmitters in the human body. I dunno, but I would not be surprised AT ALL if that's all FACT. Have a look at the 'Fizzer' patent application for the cobra-bite nasty needles! NOTHING about chemicals, antivirals, or what you'd expect to see. ALL about digital communications, peer-to-peer network communications & protocols & sensors! VERY sinister stuff! Apparently nicotine negates all that crap, & possibly a cigarette or Nicole gum might save your life if an ACTUAL cobra bites you!
The reason doctors don't understand nutrition is not because they don't get any education about it. We know this, because the people who do get educated about nutrition, which are dietitians and nutritionists don't understand it either... I make the argument that it is better for doctors to not get any formal education about nutrition because nutrition education is basically all lies in the first place...it's better to be uninformed than misinformed. Most doctors are uninformed about nutrition. Nutritionists are misinformed about nutrition, true fact...
The Adventist cult controll most nutritional studies in North America. Harvard sold their scientific soul to the Adventist agenda over half a century ago. The American Academy of Nutrition and Diatetics is Adventist. The American Heart Association has fronted for them and big pharma since the 40s.
Wish I knew about oxalates sooner! Nobody ever thinks that so-called "healthy" plants can cause all sorts of health issues. Since I cut back on veggies, I have zero GERD. Ate no veggies yesterday and my joints didn't crack this morning nor did I have stiffness. Proper human diet makes a huge difference. Thanks for the great content Dr. Westman.
Doctors suffering burnout in the US could practice in other countries that allow them to practice their art rather than act as technicians administering pre-prescribed protocols.
I am on keto-carnivore for 3 months now and I am astonished to see how my osteoarthritis pain disappeared, and my blood pressure normalized so no more pills for that! I am at a very healthy weight and like Dr Westman says "you crave what you eat" so I don't crave bad foods. I am looking forward to continuing on this great new healthy style of eating and living!
Well it’s good to hear that is helped you I have asked you arthritis pain almost 24 seven I am diabetic type two. I’ve ate what I consider a healthy diet for 20 years. @@marshawoods4983 Juice is the absolute worst thing you can consume for Type 2 diabetes. Your system needs to know you are chewing, eating, swallowing food (low carb) in order to regulate blood sugar. Juice is bad - your glucose reading will sky rocket.
My gurus! What a valuable conversation. The inflammatory symptoms were the first things to go for me, before the scale ever moved! Thank you both for the work you are doing to try to save us! On the flip side of that, if I go off plan and have something sugary - candy or a baked treat - I almost immediately start having joint pain and cramps in my feet. I can't even go to sleep at night until I rub my feet and calves down with icy hot. This is just from eating a little candy, cookies, or ice cream. Temporary dopamine reward not worth the agony later!
Doctors get little in the way of nutrition training, yet they speak as authorities on the subject. When I studied Shiatsu, one of our core classes was nutrition that was taught by a registered dietitian who was also a paediatrician... she told us that we received 10 times the amount of info that she received while in medical school and that food was as important as any medicine. It is difficult to take any advice from my doctor regarding nutrition because so much of it is wrong.
Thank you. You both have contributed tremendously to health education. Been carnivore for many years. Retired anesthesiologist so I have time and the passion to study. Learned nothing in med school about real health. Robert Atkins, MD, was a genius. I reread all his books.
@bibibachmd9995 Do you have any recommendations for a youngster on the path toward medicine but wanting to be a proponent of true health and nutrition? Would you recommend MD, nutrition studies (ie. functional medicine or health coach), or something else? The medical field definitely seems set up to make a profit, with physicians having good intentions for their patients, but limited to practice within a dysfunctional system that works around the premise of pathologies and disease management rather than preventions and cures. Thank you for any wisdom you can offer!
The medical system is entirely corrupt. MDs who want to do the best for their patients but go against the dogma are often punished by the medical boards. The AMA advises not to assign the sex of the baby on the birth certificate. Very woke and how crazy is that. If your youngster must do medicine I would recommend anesthesiology, pathology and radiology. Good luck to that young person!@@kristenturner1222

Haven’t been sick for years. 126 days Carnivore and contracted Covid - first time. Day 3 and almost healed. I wonder if my way of eating has helped? Thx docs for the wonderful work you do giving healing advice.
Yeah, helped you GET covid because you have a low frequency from eating meat. Covid is a frequency sickness. Funny how you think that eating that way helped you recover instead of caused the illness to begin with; much like those who got sick after taking the jab. Nooooo, the jab couldn't have caused the illness to begin with😮
Me too. That’s a safe position. He’d have me 40 lbs overweight rather than have high LDL. 🤡 He rather me have a BP of 160/100 with meds needed than a perfect 120/80 with no meds. They really are in a cult. Religion of LDL morons.
Lost all faith and respect for my primary care MD when she PUSHED me extra hard to get Covid vaccine after getting very mild case of Covid and quick recovery. Since when does natural antibodies beat a vaccine? I am avoiding going to doctors from now on. Done with them.
It was the encouraging logic of these two doctors (and others like them) that led to an easy shedding of 70 lbs. It has stayed off for +2 years. Now at the venerable age of +76 years, aches and pains are a distant memory.
Ohhh I love Dr. Ken Berry, i have benefited enormously from his videos, and he is the reason why i am a carnivore. Fantastic this conversation, nice!!!
Dr. Berry and Dr Westman please don't stop this movement of informing and helping to move us in the right direction. I believe we're headed in the right direction. Thank you to all of the doctors pointing us in the direction of improving our health.
You guys keep it up. I am soo proud to know you and even though I ignored it since the first time I heard of low carb at age 24 in 2005, I am so thankful that I began to learn how legitimate it actually was at age 36 only because my daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2016 at age nine & I was scared to death that the endocrinologists are FINE with kiddos running 3-400* blood sugars daily when we know what that is doing to type 2 diabetics. 😳 Confusion & making it seem complicated keeps people from changing and makes them listen to their doctors without asking why & how blood sugar effects SOO many parts of the human body. I still think everyone needs a CGM at least for a time to learn what’s costing them wear & tear.
You’ve got to be kidding me! Doctors okay with children running 3-400?! Shouldn’t that be malpractice knowing what we know about the havoc high blood sugar wrecks in the body? Poor, poor kids! Glad your kid has you as an informed advocate.
Have you read Dr. Berstein's book, The Diabetes Solution? I highly recommend it. D. Berstein himself is a type 1 diabetic. He's 89 years old now and still active.
I love this meeting. It's great to see you both get together and chat. You two and Dr. Chaffee are helping me get healthier than I've been in 40 years, I'm 60 now. God bless you guys !!
Crohn's for 24 years. It has never went into remission over those years. Disabled 10 years ago. I started carnivore about 43 weeks ago and got off it only 2 days one being Thanksgiving. When I started carnivore i got so weak and felt worse to a point I was thinking this is bad for me. Well I'm happy to say my body being 64 has finely become fat burning adapted. I'm still dealing with Crohn's for sure but it seem to be turning to more better days then bad. I look back every year as to how am I doing and every year I had to say I'm worse till this year. I've been on IV treatments for like 14 years.
I follow Dr Westman all around YT. He's the great diet compromiser. I follow his advice. I haven.t heard it all yet. Ken Berry is the large, all expansive, friendly character. He's great too. Both of these guys have 20+ years of case history studies of their clients on this diet. Please publish the results.
Good reason to never visit a doctor. Rather duck tape shit up than go to those crazy people. If you aren’t sick and dying a doctor can fix that for you.
@@@AdaptYourLife Onya Doc Eric! 😃👍 Although sometimes I wish you'd be a bit more 'savage' (like Bart Kay!) towards some of these fools who push all the wrong foods & theories! I understand you have maintain a certain amount of diplomacy though. You do a great job in your videos.
Having found information like this online has definitely helped me (female, 52 yo) stay off of any medication. I have always been somewhere between chubby and overweight and have started having several related health issues: increased blood pressure (130/90, but still an increase from my usual 120/80), pressure headaches, knee pain after a ski injury, ...) and most of the doctors I went to told me that my issues were caused by my weight but when I asked them how to lose weight, the general reaction, sometimes paired with a guilty look to their own gut, was just a helpless shrug. Had I accepted, I would have gotten blood pressure pills, anti- migrane pills (to be taken preventively every day for the rest of my life), and, eventually, probably also insuline. Instead, I started fasting and cutting carbs and - lo and behold - all my troubles are gone! Thank you so much for spreading the word!!
Love this dialogue, as a Traditional Chinese Medicine physician and ICU/ER nurse I totally agree with everything said. And it irks me to no end to give Glucerna or some other sugary tube feed to critical patients when metabolically there are better things we can do to improve outcomes. By the way I've been animal -based exclusively since coming across Dr. Berry and Nurse Neisha's videos a couple of years ago after transitioning from Atkins, Paleo, dirty keto, clean keto.
Remember it is not the food we eat but what has been done to the food we eat. So only eat preferably home grown, pesticide, herbicide FREE food in season and you will be healthy. Eating any food causes inflammation, It is a natural part of digestion. The trick is to find out what triggers YOU because everyone is unique.
Lovely to see Eric Westman again. A true gentleman, steady, accurate, decent, realistic, and effective. An early adopter of the science of ketogenic living.
High fat carnivore the last five months has changed my life. I have CFS and Hashimoto's. My disabling alkalosisis has reversed and I have more energy and so much less brain fog
I started watching both of you many years ago. I first started watching Dr. Westman and then started watching Dr Berry back when he was low carb. Then when he evolved to carnivore I did too. But not just because DR. Berry went carnivore but because by then, nearly all the doctors that I followed, Zoe Harcombe, most notably, were going carnivore.
After 35 years of taking all kinds of medication (17 tablets every day) I decided that I would rather die of my own illnesses in stead of the side effects so I stopped taken any medication. My colleagues told me the I was crazy (I'm a registered nurse.). After 3 years I had my blood checked because I wanted to know what the damage of my action was. It turned out that my bloodwork was way better without the pills, in fact my blood was better than it had been in over 30 years.
My childhood doctor made house calls. He recommended homemade type remedies, and natural remedies, except in extreme cases (like strep.) As a teenager growing up in Sumner, Washington - Our hometown doctor was wonderful, and advocated good diet, prayer, fitness, and taking care of each other (like staying home when contagious because you’re thinking about others.) Neighbors would knock on his door for help, and he would help them. He wasn’t a business, nor part of a business. He was a doctor, first and foremost, to our community. We miss you Dr. Duffy!

With marginal improvements, I rejected a double knee replacement surgery and told doc I'd try riding my bike again. Soon up to 45K a day and now knees feel fine and am also walking up to 9 k a day. Besides biking lost 70 lbs due to pre diabetes status and went low carb w intermittent fasting.

I am a 64-year-old polymath / autodidact. I have developed more than six skill sets in the Skilled Trade Arena, in my time. I have found that once my primary training was finished, that was when the real learning started. I have learned to look at where the shortcomings are and look for corrective answers to any lack of understanding. Not all doctors are a students or pass the medical licensing exam the first time they take it. Like many practitioners of a trade some are lazy and will not push Beyond what they have been taught. I've only met one doctor that was also a naturopath doctor. Most fellow skill set practitioners think that it is amusing that I push beyond the norm of understanding. It is also hard to move forward in that most people have not documented much of this because of the adversity necessary to be prolific. I routinely ask questions of myself that other people cannot fathom. It is good to listen to freethinkers who are way smarter/ intelligent then their peers. Hyper ability in critical thinking is a superhero ability. Thank you for your efforts, my good fortune come to you always. Best wishes and Merry Christmas.
Great video helping people change their lives daily. There are alot of influencers on line which can be problematic and are always selling something. I know people have to make a living I get that. I find the information which is provided to be really helpful. I learned about keto by watching Dr Berry and Dr Fung's videos. I I know watch a lot of Dr Westman's videos where he reacts to other videos. So educational, thank you both
There are many "patients" waking up and doing all they can to be as healthy as possible no matter what they face physically. I had to fire my female nephrologist last week for not seeing my desire to work together as equals of different expertises, she could only see me as a victim and her as the hierarchy, no humanity, I work my ass off to stay well post organ transplant...Thanks Guys for all you do
Dr Atkins original book was the first one I ever read. It helped me over the years but I really kind of got away from it while raising kids, work, etc. Now I realize that I should have stuck with it back then and saved myself from the pain and suffering I've been through. That is why I am now a carnivore.
Doctors have lost their curiosity because insurance companies dictate what can and is not allowed to be done. Universities and hospitals are in the pockets of the insurance companies. They employ most doctors and so doctors are restricted. Big pharma makes it so easy to cover up the problem and create a host of new ones. I was an RN for many years and on the receiving end of healthcare and the deterioration in patient care has been dramatic. It is sad to see people sick when it could so easily have been prevented by the honest truth and looking at the individual and prescribing care based on that truthful assessment. My heart goes out to the good medical professionals who continue to strive and fight through the quagmire of legalism.
My go-to RUclips doctors, along with Dr John Campbell from the UK. Used to recommend Dr. Eric Berg, whose videos led me on to yours. Really enjoy the no-nonsense, non-judgemental approach unless you have studies to back it up. 👏👏
Remember folks, the carnivore diet is extremely low carb so if you want all the benefits being in ketosis you should try carnivore. I'm currently on a keto diet with OMAD fasting most days. However I find myself gravitating more and more towards carnivore.
Once you drop nuts and greens you’ll likely feel better in many ways. You may have oxylate dumping for a couple of weeks. Look it up if you’re new to oxylates. It’s more than just bad for kidney stones. Mental health and joint buildup and low energy. Blurry eyes for me.
Started Atkins in 1995. Kept it up because of the metabolic advantage of excreting ketones (fat) as opposed to having to burn it. We are a dual fuel species: glucose and ketones. We run better on both than we do on only glucose. And the way to have both fuels is to eat predominantly meat. In 2020 I went carnivore or near zero carbs. And I have added sprinting as Dr. Omara advocates. Been sprinting for 3 and 1/2 months. Highly recommend it. Never had so much benefit from so little effort. It is great to see a doctor speak up about medicine and supplements. I have zero faith in the medical industry. I used to suffer from a UTI from time to time so I needed antibiotics. One day I discovered Kefir. The antibiotic did not work so I started taking kefir daily. Would you believe my UTI disappeared and I have not had one since. I cannot agree with you that it is easy to stay healthy. The food industry makes it very difficult. It is a challenge to practice a healthy life style. A few months ago we started to make our own bread from ancient organic whole grains. We mill our own flour. It has been a wonderful experience. I was born in 1945 and I take no medicines and no supplements and I avoid doctors. Eva

Doctors and nurses are indoctrinated in school. Much of it is lies. Some wake up from it, most don't.
I, too, was a nurse for 25 years in NY. The system has been lacking for sure, corrupt for sure, and I have known that the system is going down!!!!

Thanks for your WORK in this field to help us Adapt our Lives!
Great interview! 👌 Always manage to pick up something useful from listening to you two...Thank You! 🙏💛✌️
Brilliant doctors, good guys and great men. Could've listened for days.
Dr. Westman and Dr.Berry aka When the SaintsGo Marching In! God bless you both for healing of humanity than any one else in history. You are so loved!
I am honoured to be able to watch two giants of such a wonderful lifestyle of keto/low carb. Thanks, Guys.
Thank you Dr Westman for continuing Dr Atkins legacy and promoting the healthy diet
Thank you both for making it all make sense!
Thank you for having the great Dr Ken Berry on.
Hello Drs....from Ca. Thank you both for all you do in the low carb community
Duffy!
I wish my health insurance provider included functional medicine practitioners. It's very frustrating.
What a treat! Great conversation between two of my favorite humans!
My father who lived to be 94 had a simple idea in life and abided by it. Too much of anything is good for nothing 👍🤟✌️
75 Here. History of knee injury and knee operations and needed a cane three years ago for two years.
Two REAL doctors who are also great doctors. Listen to them and achieve good health!
These two doctors saved my life on the right track now!
My late father in law was a GP. he did house calls, delivered babies, did small operations,
He even postponed the family holidays to wait till babies were delivered.
He saw a lot during the war in New Guinea. We are in OZ, his dad did all the visits
by horse and cart. All this is gone, he was born in 1915, I am 76 now.
My own late dad, he used to say, once we cannot go to the toilet by ourselves, it's
time to go, he did age 85 in 2008 .
Great Doctors!
Wow 2 great doctors getting together,
This is a must watch video 🤔
Watch it, or else !
Two of the Best Doctors Helping Humanity!! Great Discussion! Keep Keeping On!
2 of my favorite doctors together! How did I miss this!?
Thank you both! Thank you!
I had to fire my female nephrologist last week for not seeing my desire to work together as equals of different expertises, she could only see me as a victim and her as the hierarchy, no humanity, I work my ass off to stay well post organ transplant...Thanks Guys for all you do
So good to see the two of you together. Both brilliant doctors.
Dr Atkins original book was the first one I ever read. It helped me over the years but I really kind of got away from it while raising kids, work, etc. Now I realize that I should have stuck with it back then and saved myself from the pain and suffering I've been through. That is why I am now a carnivore.
2 of my favourite doctors right here !
My two favorite docs. Great talk y’all!
Thanks Dr westman! Two great docs!
I'm going to have to borrow that "modified Mediterranean diet" line to keep our local doc happy... 🙄😆
Two great doctors 😊
Started Atkins in 1995. Kept it up because of the metabolic advantage of excreting ketones (fat) as opposed to having to burn it.
We are a dual fuel species: glucose and ketones. We run better on both than we do on only glucose. And the way to have both fuels is to eat predominantly meat.
In 2020 I went carnivore or near zero carbs.
And I have added sprinting as Dr. Omara advocates. Been sprinting for 3 and 1/2 months. Highly recommend it. Never had so much benefit from so little effort.
But sprinting is what carnivores do mostly in the wild because they are ambush predators.
I am 73.
My Dr Adkins paperback is very bookmarked. 😊
Two awesome people
It is great to see a doctor speak up about medicine and supplements.
Eva
These Drs are both a Class act.
Great conversation, only wish it was longer!
Thank you for your videos. Happy Holidays
Medical school weeds out the curious. There is too much to memorize for one to be curious. If you stop to ask and delve into why, you miss too much.
