A Jacques-Yves Cousteau tribute watch (The father a modern diving equipment) that is only rated at 30 metres water resistance? Well done IWC, that's how to spit in a dead mans eye. Shocking.
I tried one on today. Surprised how beautiful and comfortable it sits. How legible it is. The bezel action rips Rolex a new butt hole. Could play with it for days on end. I know because I own 3 Recent Rolexes.
I know it's been a year since you wrote this, but every "expensive" watch got a serial number. You cold bring it into a IWC boutique if you still got it and they would take care of it I assume. But the best thing to do is to bring it to a lost & found place at the airport itself, where they owner would ask.
thick as a can of tuna! I'd rather less water resistance and a thinner case. I actually dive and no real diver uses a dive watch and I know that 99% of guys that buy these watches don't even swim with the watch on so I wish they would stop making "real" diving watches as they call them... It's a joke And makes the watches look ridiculous.
I am a diver and do use a dive watch. Your assertion that no divers uses a watch is absurd just because you 100 rely on a dive computer does not mean everybody else does the same. Larger case watches can take var more abuse than a smaller case watch. All those time you smack the watch when get on and off boats with gear on does add up. In an emergency situation a dive watch can come in very handy
I swim with all my watches. I have Rolex, IWC, oris, Rado, Longines. this piece here I would swim with, dive with, hang out with and even sleep with its so beautiful. I'm buying it.

I'm actually surprised how much I like this watch. The subtle blue colour and balance on the dial is spellbinding.
Great looking watch!
This is the world's toughest and most beautiful diver for tough men. Beautiful blue and so legible.😅

30 bar = 300 meters of water resistance 😉

I found one of these watches at the Airport, I understand that they are expensive.
Anyone know if there is some way to get it back to it's owner?
