Hi Nigel, did i hear it correctly? Osmo pocket 3 actually gets 32 bit float wirelessly from the dji mic 2? I have always thought that the 32 bit float would be internal and then you need to sync in post to have it (I have always done like this).
Sorry I misspoke on that, 32 bit float is internal to the mics but you still need to sync it! but when 32 bit float is enabled, you can start and stop recording with the transmitter itself and it will record to both
Bought the Osmo pocket 3 creator combo last month and just took it on a massive road trip. Checked the audio quality when backing everything up and was shocked at how good the mic sounds!
A lot of people pronounce it dee gee eye....but its dee jay eye 🙄 Back in the day, i was a DJ, not a dee gee 🤭 Cool product tho 👍 do you think you'll move from Comica to DJayeye?
I swear I hate hearing "dee gee eye", I try my hardest to pronounce the J but i say it so fast it sounds like G sometimes haha. and yeah for most things I'll probably use these DJI mics
Great video man! Dont use ND-filters on the OSMO action. That's why you're getting the jitters in that footage. Action cameras dont like motion blur. They need sharp frames to stabilize footage. Best wishes and keep on the great work! ruclips.net/video/nE3MvQLh-0w/видео.htmlsi=s3vyJdNQ04zUqwqX
You're probably right, but I also turned stabilization off on my action 4, I try not to used any (non gimbal) stabilization unless absolutely necessary. And since the action 4 was locked off on the bike, I turned rock steady off

@@NigelBarros Ah that makes more sense 😁, for a second I thought I missed a firmware update or something, thanks for clarifying!
Those floating product shots were so dope
Thanks Spencer, I started to wonder if they were going to work out while filming haha
your videos are handily some of the easiest to watch most enjoyable reviews I've ever seen. Nice work.
Beautiful wok as always Nigel !
Thanks Ed! Means a lot coming from you!
Been rocking the OG DJi Mics for awhile but watching this is really making me think it’s time to update

@@NigelBarros great thank you
I've heard a lot about 32-bit _float_ , but this is ridiculous 😄
😂
And that's how you make an amazing sponsored video! Great job Nigel, as always.
Appreciate that a lot!

Can you show us how to connect the mic 2 receiver to the Osmo pocket 3 ? , you didn’t , you just said they can be connected 😊
How are you making the objects float? Would love to see a video on that :)
I might make a quick tutorial on my 2nd channel @nigelbarrostoo
Reviewed its competitor - The Rode Wireless Pro - just a few uploads ago, for some it was hard to choose between them.
I definitely think if you own the pocket 3 or action for these mics are a no brainer
❤❤
I wish my DJI pocket 2 would connect to these mics
The pocket 3 is definitely worth the upgrade, the 10bit D-log is really nice!
😮
