Metro Man is probably the best deconstruction of Superman ever. I mean, he's not typical "Evil Superman" or "If Superman was real, then he would be evil" No, he can be funny, confident, responsible and relatable at the same time. Metro Man is a superhuman with the personality of an ordinary person.

That's Metroman: an individual who understood not because he has superpowers he should become a public servant for the rest of his existence. Superman is a very idealized, unrealistic and westernized depiction of what a good guy should be. I usually like most of his copycats a lot more than i like him

Now, you want an OP character who is also simple and takes the time of day to help random people on the street even though he's not exactly the best at it? Read One Punch Man. Saitama actually goes about his day and helps people who he sees in trouble, *like a normal person.* he doesn't just take the entire weight of the world on his shoulders because he actually is human and understands that human strength comes from hardship and perseverance, not from living in an atmosphere that automatically turns you into a god.
Metro Man is Neutral Good imo, he clearly loves Metro City and wants to protect it, he is good because he genuinely finds it rewarding but he gets tired of being constricted by his public image and that is why he fakes his death. A Lawful character would continue to follow through with being that persona
