If Metro Man is needed, he will return. Actually, in my headcanon, he was watching this whole fight and was ready to intervene if necessary. Metro Man deserves to pursue his dreams
I totally get Metroman feeling, being a hero for a day, for a week or even a year when you are a common citizen is super cool, but being born into it is a prison. His whole life he is being expected to act all positive and polite, never break, never feel lay never feel hopeless, has to act a certain way and do that for the rest of his life. He was probably having the best time of his life living as music man, feeling free. But I bet he would feel responsible and guilty if megamind failed, but he trusted him and it paid off. It’s really a full movie that tie all ends really great
The fact that they gave us that satisfaction of metroman coming back to put Titan in his place while also sticking to the plot and keeping Megaminds character development well done without a cheap win was genius
1:48 A cool detail I noticed is that Megamind looks scared when he’s revealed. He had already fooled Roxanne once by impersonating someone she loved, and he was scared of her reacting like she did when his first disguise was revealed.
this movie did some much right, its a shame we don't get animated movies like megamind anymore. but you can see from this scene alone just how much the writers pay attention. all the details giving hints that this wasn't really metroman. the score, and even the lines. like the way megamind poses and even quips like metroman when he's flying, like "please lets have a little respect for public transportation" and "going somewhere... besides Jail?" are just fantastic, really shows that megamind knew metroman so well, he knew how the guy would act and talk even in a situation like this and the whole Metrocity vs metro city thing was actually a well done way for hal to find out that megamind wasn't really metroman. we just don't get good writing like this anymore... well we do... its just not as prevalent
Just in the last few years, we've gotten Nimona, Bad Guys, Last Wish, The Boy And The Heron, Wolfwalkers, Soul, and Onward. Also Encanto, according to people who probably have better taste than me. Absolute bangers in animation keep coming out, and half of those have banter and attention to detail just as good as Megamind. I'm not saying this movie isn't great. But come on. Don't do the "back in MY day..." thing. Just be honest and say you don't watch movies anymore.
This whole scene was awesome in so many ways, but I just gotta give Megamind props at 2:10. Tighten made him, and Megamind knew he couldn't win in a fist fight, but still threw punches while everyone else got out of the way. It didn't work, and he probably knew it wouldn't, but damn if he didn't try everything to save his city.
Man, it's such a shame that this story will never get a sequel. Well, its better than it getting a trash sequel and it being milked into a series right? Sure hope it wont happen, especially if its a plot about fighting mid villains and him getting the help of a kid
i actually wanted metro man to be back man but its still cool we got some screentime and i love how megamind didnt punch titan cuz after he legit broke his strength gloves trying to punch titan and i love how titan didnt even try to attack or fight metroman when titan had metromans powers or they had the same strength
Can we just appreciate for a moment how perfect this whole action sequence is and the "presentation" bit right before it? From beginning to end it is so original and unexpected. Im on my thousandth re-watch and i love every second of it, Megamind was truly a masterpiece of comedy/superhero action
Homelander, because Titan is way too unexperienced Superman, but its hard to really tell because we dont know the limits of Metroman powers, still Superman was long confirmed limitless
i love the fact that Megamind was probably the most familiar with Metroman's mannerisms, made it very easy to mimic him (also the "No You Can't" poster cracks me up everytime)
@conrad5673You need to rewatch the movie, go back to school, and it's Titan. Remember when Minion said Hal hasn't accomplished anything? That includes grammar!
@conrad5673You need to watch the movie again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again until you realise: Megamind started as a supervillain who loves his rivalry with Metro Man and accidentally succeeds because of Metro Man faking his death to become a musician. With no purpose, Megamind decides to make a new hero by giving them Metro Man's powers (planned the name to he Titan). It ends up going to Hal, leading him to become a bigger simp to Roxanne. After his heart breaks, Titan goes into his selfish deeds becoming a villain. Megamind explains to him how he's supposed to be the villain and Titan is the good guy. Soon the tables turned as Titan decides to call Metro City "Tightenville" (thinks his name is Tighten, it shows he can't spell his actual name), leading Megamind to become the hero.
That's because he never actually wanted to be unstoppable, he wasn't an actual villain either, he simply played the role as a villain because it gave him purposes and because he was mistreated when he was a child by his classmates and Metro Man
This movie is in top 10 animated movies ever created Had everything, comedy, new storyline, and even in the end, they used brain to defeat the enemy Everything was pitch perfect Loved this movie

4:35 “I finally had a reason to win. You.” 🥰❤️

Superman vs Homelander
Honestly this movie had a really solid ending. Good thing no sequels have been revealed to extend the timeline!
2:04 “But there’s only one person I know who calls this town “Metrocity”!
1:48 A cool detail I noticed is that Megamind looks scared when he’s revealed. He had already fooled Roxanne once by impersonating someone she loved, and he was scared of her reacting like she did when his first disguise was revealed.
Titan was gangster until “Metro Man” showed up😂😂😂😂
0:08: Metro Man: Please let's have a little respect for public transportation.
I really wished Metro man came back in this scene. I would've loved to have seen him fight Titan.
what a great scene, surely they'll make a sequel that doesn't invalidate this all
this movie did some much right, its a shame we don't get animated movies like megamind anymore. but you can see from this scene alone just how much the writers pay attention.
all the details giving hints that this wasn't really metroman. the score, and even the lines.
like the way megamind poses and even quips like metroman when he's flying, like "please lets have a little respect for public transportation" and "going somewhere... besides Jail?" are just fantastic, really shows that megamind knew metroman so well, he knew how the guy would act and talk even in a situation like this
and the whole Metrocity vs metro city thing was actually a well done way for hal to find out that megamind wasn't really metroman.
we just don't get good writing like this anymore... well we do... its just not as prevalent
2:35 he threw a bike lol
He did the most awesome thing to himself to cheat death, lol
This whole scene was awesome in so many ways, but I just gotta give Megamind props at 2:10. Tighten made him, and Megamind knew he couldn't win in a fist fight, but still threw punches while everyone else got out of the way. It didn't work, and he probably knew it wouldn't, but damn if he didn't try everything to save his city.
I like how the de hydration gun also has de stroy, de compress, and de ath ray. Awesome details in this movie.
Me wishing Metroman actually came back
The TV series does a desperate attempt to bait his return in Season 2
@@anthonyackerman7914What tv series? There’s only this movie and button of doom
Titan is such an underrated villain
Tighten*
Crazy how this movie came out 14 years ago, but still looks better than the sequel that *just* dropped
Sequel had a much smaller budget
Remember boys. The new sequel doesn't count
Man, it's such a shame that this story will never get a sequel. Well, its better than it getting a trash sequel and it being milked into a series right? Sure hope it wont happen, especially if its a plot about fighting mid villains and him getting the help of a kid
I know with animation that makes the original look better
Such a shame
Who’s gonna tell him?
Thought this said 3 months ago for a second
@@alexgomez6723 He's clearly being sarcastic
4:20 how getting the Covid test done feels like
i actually wanted metro man to be back man but its still cool we got some screentime and i love how megamind didnt punch titan cuz after he legit broke his strength gloves trying to punch titan and i love how titan didnt even try to attack or fight metroman when titan had metromans powers or they had the same strength
Can we just appreciate for a moment how perfect this whole action sequence is and the "presentation" bit right before it? From beginning to end it is so original and unexpected. Im on my thousandth re-watch and i love every second of it, Megamind was truly a masterpiece of comedy/superhero action
this was an underrated movie!
The best part is, Megamind appears in the new DreamWorks racing game. Tho Will Farrell didn't reprise his role in the game sadly.
There is a theme park for them in Brazil with official costumes
Watching the megamind 2 movie and the megamind show make you really appreciate how great that movie is
It feels so weird not to hear a fart after metro man's "your the punk ive heard about"
I can't unsee the meme where he farts when he smashes his hand and gets ready
3:53 south tower jumpscare
3:49 So this is right about where we started.
Most memorable Hollywood Animation movie of SuperVillain 👍🏻👍🏻
0:27 POV that random kid in class
What I’m trying to say is…….HE FARTED 💨
Hal ended up with nothing again. That's what happens when you abuse your power
Titan’s reaction at 0:29 always gets me just funny for some reason 😂
Calling Metro City "metrocity" is like the Sonic 3 Hydrocity/Hydro City debate lmao
"I made you a hero! you did the fool thing all by yourself!"
I mean Megamind's not wrong!
• Homelander vs. Titan
• Metroman vs. Superman
Who wins?
Homelander, because Titan is way too unexperienced
Superman, but its hard to really tell because we dont know the limits of Metroman powers, still Superman was long confirmed limitless
@@imsusanov2287 But Metro Man seems to possess Flash level speed and time perception. My money is actually on Metro Man.
@@imsusanov2287Metroman has one advantage over Superman, he can see through lead.
@@Samuel152he also has no known weaknesses.
@@imsusanov2287I am sorry but Homelander gets destroyed
If only Megamind said "this city" instead of mispronouncing Metrocity, Titan wouldn't have come back.
I still don't get that part TBH.
Incredible scene. Though I can’t help but wish there’d be a sequel to this masterpiece.
Me too. I’d love to see another high quality film of this blue dude
Your now banned from wishing for thing
are you ironic or living under a rock
@@radu-oy7em no there wish just came but it had monkey paw rules
guys, they're being ironic. basically saying there is no sequel.
There is no sequel in Ba Sing Se
i love the fact that Megamind was probably the most familiar with Metroman's mannerisms, made it very easy to mimic him (also the "No You Can't" poster cracks me up everytime)
Remember there is only one megamind movie there is no sequel.
I agree with megamind he made the hero hel fool himself because he became the villain
@conrad5673No? Megamind tried making Titan a hero so he'd have a rival again. But Titan was selfish and turned evil.
@conrad5673 you should rewatch the movie
@conrad5673You need to rewatch the movie, go back to school, and it's Titan. Remember when Minion said Hal hasn't accomplished anything? That includes grammar!
@@KodyCrimsonYou're absolutely right.
I think we can all agree that Titan had one true weakness: the Invisible Car
We need my guy back right now to help us defeat Megamind 2…
To think, Megamind could be unstoppable if he take metroman's power into himself 👀
He never wanted to be unstoppable
That's because he never actually wanted to be unstoppable, he wasn't an actual villain either, he simply played the role as a villain because it gave him purposes and because he was mistreated when he was a child by his classmates and Metro Man
Maybe something weird would happen two alien combined beside EARTHLING.
Megamind with metro man’s physique would be cursed asf tho
Metro Man’s entrance was made like when an OG actor replays his superhero role after 20 years
Titan should be thankful that was Megamind disguised as Metroman, if that was the actual real Metroman. He would've fucked up Titan so bad.
Considering how fast Metro Man is compare to Titan. It would be over before it would even started if Metro Man wanted to.
This movie is in top 10 animated movies ever created
Had everything, comedy, new storyline, and even in the end, they used brain to defeat the enemy
Everything was pitch perfect
Loved this movie
this was such a good movie.
0:22 I noticed that that building kinda looks like the flat iron building in New York
look how they masacred my boy (2nd movie) :(
FUN FACT:
You can see the deadly sun laser coming from the upper part
I love the movie don't get me wrong but some part of me wishes it really was Metro Man because I'd of loved to see a fight between Tighten and Metro Man
