if you had to like quit for some reason do you give your employers like a two week notice? I’m really nervous about not liking the job but then being too scared to leave 😭 great vid btw !!
How did it go? I also worry about this lol if I don’t like a job I leave, but it’s usually because of the people I work with not the job, I feel like if I take the job on campus and quit it will make me look bad and impact being able to maybe get a better one on campus
@@kingdoge69 it wasn't that bad. but the scheduling was in between my classes which i disliked alot because i had to rush, change and run to another building for my shift. the pay was also not enough for the things i wanted/had to do, ultimately making me leave the job.
I’m starting a work study job with one of my marketing professors in a few weeks and am being paid $15 a hour. I have no idea what to expect and am terrified. I don’t even know what I’ll be doing.
I don’t think so remember work study is to help u finically so if you pick work study on ur fafsa they will see that you will need extra support when it comes to money
so if my financial aide letter says $2000 work study, that is money I (my kid) has to earn. if he doestn't get a WS job I have to pay that extra $2000 towards his tuition right. What are more PROs to doing work study, why would a full time Pre-Med student Want to work at a minimum wage job, seems like 'peanuts' in the big picture.
i'm still really confused about the pay/financial aid thing. do you get paid then you put that money toward your tuition on your own or does that money automatically go to your tuition? or do you get paid for yourself and also have that amount go to your tuition automatically?
I just got a work study for $6600 the whole year… should I appeal this? My limit is 20hrs/week. I just don’t know if it will be too difficult for me to balance this with my schedule

That is a huge merit scholarship, like damn I wish I was getting that kind of money

I mean in the end it would add experience and they totally work with your schedule and it would be a great personal experience for your student

You get paid the remainder of it if anything is left after the semester
