Any other person with their fingers blown off would be screaming in pain. Michael: *grunt*
Sounded more like a loud pained hiss in the back of his throat.
That's because Michael isn't human remember he's pure evil
@@toebeans31 is evil a specie?
hell get workers comp for injury on the freaking job
Imagine the scene if Michael, who has been silent the whole series started screaming, rolling around in pain.
Funny thing is, Michael didn't even knew Laurie was still around. He just casually found her again and dude was like "ight"
lilmoris1 Exactly. And that's why it bugs me when people ask "If they're not brother and sister anymore, then why is he STILL coming after her?".
He wasn't. Michael doesn't even realize that Laurie is still around until the last act of the movie. He was never out targeting her specifically. And it stands to reason that if their paths ever did cross again, he'd want to finish the job. She was the one who 'got away' and caused him to be captured and locked up for 40 years.
That’s not true but okay. He legit knew she was there.
@@Currency1001 How? He was locked up for 30 or 40 years.
@@lilmoris1 so the story is, Michael is not a person, they are a shape, the shape of evil. And he has been waiting for this day to come.

I saw this at cinema, and I don't feel regret about it. Masterpiece horror film

The part where Ray opens the cop car door and the jack o lantern is actually Officer Francis’ head scared the heck out of me.
Maximus Dominguez yeah, but how Michael had the time to sit on a stool somewhere carving him out is beyond me 😳
@@MrRickster83 I mean, it wasn't specified how long it was from when Michael killed the cops to Ray seeing them. Maybe it was a transition between half an hour or something. I don't know, just a guess.
It disturbed me

No more homemade chocolatey brownies for Officer Francis!
I absolutely love the way how Laurie is depicted as being a survivalist after her traumatic experience with Michael back in '78.

Well at least the guy blasted his gun to let them know that Michael is coming
Ya. Had he not do that, Laurie and Karen wouldn't have seen him coming even with the cameras.
Ray. A true hero.
See. Ray wasn't "totally" useless.
It would’ve been more helpful if he shot Micheal, but I mean I guess if you’re getting your neck snapped you wouldn’t be able to aim probably, but still wonder what would’ve happened if he shot Micheal, would he had survived
Andy Garcia yeah, but I wondered why Laurie looked out the window and saw nothing..?
Her room must’ve been around the back 🤷🏼♂️
The scariest part of this movie is from when Laurie says, "Michael's here. Get downstairs" to the scene where they all three confront him and trap him in the basement. Just imagine the level of fear knowing that a psychopathic killer is in your house, combined with your loved ones being there as well. The filmmakers did a really good job of capturing the emotional intensity and the tension of this entire movie, but especially in this finale.
I agree. The moment she said it,my blood ran cold. I was holding my boys so tight in the theater.
Laurie was such a badass in this movie.
You are right Michael was the one being hunted this time
For real
I wish they had figured out a way to merge the deleted scene of her having a knife fight with him into the film's ending. The two of them just trying to kill each other out in the middle of the front yard. For a second it wouldn't even be horror. Just light vs. evil.
@@Blast2224
It honestly could've happened after the fire scene...Michael escapes through the trap door from the outside...and Laurie would pull out her knife.

That's nonsense. There's been more Halloween films featuring Michael than Laurie (naturally). He's been shot, burned, blinded, put into a coma, anything beyond any normal human's capacity.

I love how throughout the entire film, it subverts the whole "Micheal is personally wanting to kill Laurie" thing the other sequels too.
Heck, he doesn't even acknowledge her half the time, he just treats her like another victim. No grand death glare behind that mask, just "Oh someone else to gut. Great."
There was one scene where he tilted his head though, like he remembered
TrailersFromHell oh yeah but the film wasn't explicit about that he remembered. Like it had been 40 years from his perspective. Heck, the film basically doesn't give a straightforward answer to his motivations and I applaud that.
She's the one that got way. Nothing more, nothing less. Revenge against Laura is just a bonus, his goal is to just kill people. He isn't even looking for her, he just keeps ending up in the same place as her and figures "well I'm already here, might as well".

That jack o lantern kill is the one that managed to freak me out the most. Along with the kid getting impaled through the chin with a fence spike.
This'll never get old. Great job to the cast and crew for horror movie-making history. Somewhere Sir Donald Pleasence is smiling and giving the old thumbs up. I know it!

At this point i feel like every part of Myers is an individual by itself, like Carpetner´s The Thing... Ye´know like a shared universe (Fanboy intesifies)
Since Carpenter is just as fluid with Science fiction as he is with Horror, I can imagine him toying with the idea that some lunatic would try to Clone Myers.

I kinda have a theory:
Michael is pure evil and basically immortal so what I think is, Laurie is the same like Michael except she's the opposite. They're both immortal and they fight each other cause they are destined to. That's why Laurie never moved on to another city she stayed so she could stop the immortal evil herself.
Michael is already pure evil confirmed by almost every damn movie
@@CHeeSechez74 I already know he is. That's not my theory though my theory is about Laurie being the same as him but the opposite of what he is.
The shape stalks theme in this scene gave me goosebumps at the premier 😱.
damn Laurie took 4 headbangs and didn't even get knocked out she's just as tough as Michael
Yep haha she has that Myers blood in her
Poor Micheal, permanently stuck in a peace sign
Lol I noticed that too ✌
Scene would have been much better if not shown in trailer
It's kinda funny picturing Michael Myers thoughtfully and tediously making those Jack-O'-Lantern heads. Like he thought to himself "I'm gonna turn these decapitated heads into Jack-O'-Lanterns to freak people out and stay in the Halloween spirit" lol
😂😂
I remember when I was younger I just watched the original Halloween and had the same nightmare almost every night of Michael Myers. I would be running down a long hallway while he chased me I would run into a single door at the end of the hallway open it and he would be right there and grab me the minute he grabbed me I would wake up dam the thing I really loved about this movie is the nostalgia I got from it just remembering him chase me and nearly piss my bed anyone who said this movie was bad really need to rewatch the others cause it brought me back
Nick Robinson dude wtf I had the same exact dream over and over again except I would be running outside with all my neighbors and Michael would target me and they only stopped after he finally killed me

As much as I hated Judy greers performance initially I came too understand how she approached this role. The first half of the movie she resents her mother so much but towards the end when she realizes everything Laurie taught her was for the better she just serves endless emotion.
I mean regardless of her intentions, teaching a child to kill is a step too far and there's a such thing as being controlled and defined by trauma.
she was actually running decisive strike and object of obsession the whole game.
The fact that michael was able to tear apart that steel door before he grabs laurie was just mind blown..it really show us how strong michael is
