i literally never noticed my eyelids were asymmetrical but then i tried eyeliner once and then you can finish the story lol. anyways i broke down to my parents and best friend abt it and they seemed so confused, so my friend told me she had a lazy eye which i had never noticed even tho we have been friends for almost 10 years. point is, the things you are most insecure abt no one notices, or maybe they sometimes notice, but they don't really care. so dont stress and accept the little things and the big things 'u dont like' abt urself. it's what makes you, you. (as cheesy as that sounds) :) edit: damn a year later i realized that i dont even care about this anymore. i cant remember the last time i even thought about this insecurity in a negative way or at all. i think i accepted it by looking at all of the hot pple w asymmetry in their eyes and face and learning asymmetry is common but unique at the same time and has scientific based attractiveness ;)

I grew up with even double eyelids and it was the only feature on my face which I liked. However a yr ago, I think one eye slightly changed and it really bothered me 😓 I wore eyelid tape for 2 weeks straight and it went back to normal. However last month, the problem came back except it was harder to correct and it's just been an uphill struggle 😓 I think my eyelids change more easily when I sleep really well. I highly recommend d-up eyelid tape, it's good quality and very strong. Thanks for this video Judy ❤️
Saaame. I think it's because I don't move at all when I sleep. So the whole night I sleep on just one side which makes one side puffy and the other droopy, including my eyelids :/
I have the same struggle, what I have found to work for me is to opt out of a line on the eyelid and instead to line only the lash line (in the lashes?) and do the wing extending from the end of the eye It makes my uneven eyelids less noticeable
Gurrrll you have no idea how much I relate to this! My double eyelids are uneven too. If I wear contacts or if I don’t get enough sleep, my double eyelids look more even. I use double eyelid tape as well but I cut mine in half because my eyes are smaller. It works just as good and you get more use out of your tape :)

I had begun saving up $$$ to get surgery done for my monolids but now that I'm older I'm not doing it anymore. I've really come to embrace the perks of monolids with makeup honestly, even if things like false lashes and eyeliner will always be a struggle. I love not ever creasing ever, and I love having a buttload of lid space

I have a small monolid on both eyes, but my left eyelid, the crease isn't deep enough. So I wore the tape at night and tore it off the next morning. It successfully made the crease more visible. I did that when I was probaly 19. Now I'm 27, I honestly don't even have time to worry so much about my lids anymore. lol
Im so glad I found this because I also have one eye with an epicanthic fold, while my other eye has a regular (I say "regular" because I'm Scandinavian and the only one with an epicanthic fold in my family) double eyelid. I've been thinking about eyelid surgery for years now because of this, but I'm definitely going to try this first!
Try this girl, it worked for me when I was in my twenties, and it worked for me for years. I only used the tape for only few days, and it became a permanent eyelid. It’s probably work for young girl.
ive been having even double eyelids my whole life and i realised it started to change a year ago. i realise its showing more in pictures now T.T. im getting married soon and really want to look for a temporary fix just for the day for good pictures. im too scared to go under the knife too.

I always sleep on my right so my lips, cheeks, and eyes are kinda weird. It's not like that before, they were symmetrical. Now, I know why... Is there a chance to change tho, like to make them symmetrical again or to stop it to become even weirder? I'm sorry for asking.
@@celestialaster9673 there are surgeries you can do or exercises or massages to your face to fix them but none of them are permanent solutions. Surgeries lasts for months whereas exercises and massages last for days you can Google them it's a very common problem.
i had this kind of problem once on my left eye (triple or more eyelid) and was really stressful about it. and then i tried to put a bottle of warm-hot water on my eyes, for like 2-3 times a day. just leave it like 10 mins. and I repeat when it turned triple lid again. and it worked and my eye got back to its own real shape! (double eyelid)
Tbh I was able to fix my uneven eyelid by using Gua sha. After consistent use, I was able to spot a visible difference in the way my eyelids looked. My right eyelid would be so uneven from my left eyelid that if I took a look in the mirror and took a picture of myself it would be noticeable and that lowered my self esteem. So after seeing many ppl on tiktok using gua sha,I decided to try it myself. I just got a gua sha set from Amazon and after applying oil on my face and proceeding with the gua sha, my right eyelid be even with the other eyelid. The key is to use oil and to use Gua sha consistently. I recently took a photo of myself and my eyelids were even and symmetrical with each other. So I totally recommend using gua sha to fix uneven eyelids!

I read this article cause I was trying to find something that could help me fix my uneven over-plucked eyebrows and in the article, this guy said “I don’t even think they should be sisters, they should be cousins! Perfection looks artificial. When you have something beautiful and strong, we want it to look natural...not cheap.” this quote... these words are when I realized all our imperfections... we should flaunt them, show them off! Even when in all actuality nobody really sees them or gives them any thought. so love your acne, love your unsymmetrical eyebrows and love your uneven eyelids because you are absolutely beautiful just the way you are, and remember you are not alone everyone has their flaws but that's what makes you... you! 💗
I used to have even eyelids but I had this weird growth on my eye and made my left eyelid bigger. It’s really annoying. I use the tape as a tool as well, and I take it off when it stay creased. It is annoying but what can I do 😭
@@raixne3836 the left eyelid that gotten bigger stayed bigger (so no need for eyelid tape for that). And the right eyelid, I used to need to wear tape every week to even it out with the Left because it would go back to the original eyelid size or even become smaller, but now it is staying pretty consistently but the ends of the eyelid kinda shrinks/go down(???) so from time to time (every 2 months or so), I need to use eyelid tape to make it even to the left eyelid. But overall, I don’t use eyelid tape that much now… now I have a bunch of eyelid tape and it’s useless 😑
Exact same thing happened to me! Had hooded double eyelids, then one day one of my eyes started getting a triple eyelid. Then it stayed that way so I had uneven eyes for an entire year 😅 then eventually the same thing happened to my other eye. I’m happy they’re even now, but I was definitely having an identity crisis because I missed my double eyelids and hated my multiple creases 😂 Definitely took some time to appreciate it! I think it happens when we age and lose fat on our eyelids so the loose skin forms multiple eyelid creases because the muscle there grows weaker too lol
I came up with this trick without watching any video but apparently it’s known! I just use normal tape because I can’t afford to buy stuff but it’s easy to cut it the right shape
Mine are the same SIZE they are just different shapes. One is more-round while the other is more boxy?(i don’t know the word for it) It bothers me a lot. I never used to worry about stuff like this but I recently inverted myself and have become obsessed with the fact that I look horrible to other people. I've noticed throughout the years that my eyelid on my right has been more hooded and is prob from the fat droops on my lid and created a half fold above my single lid. Recently I've been using eyelid tape as well, i wouldn't consider surgery for something so small in my life but it does get annoying when doing makeup

I was born with uneven eyelids- left eye monolid and right eye is double eyelid. But when I was about 10yrs old, my right eye suddenly became monolid and from that day on, I live with monolid eyes. But this year, my right eye became double eyelid kinda triplelid and I don't know what to do. It's been 3 months since this happened and I still have uneven double eyelid. It's bothering me so much. I rubbed my left eye too much because of the irritation from all the anti viral spray, cleaner in the air cuz' you know... covid. And now my left eye is hooded asf and I'm trying to make it go back to the way it was.
I used to have noticeable uneven eyelids and then i bought an eyelid glue and it came with a small fork like plastic that shapes the crease before u apply the glue. After doing itninconsistenly for months my crease changed and even out. That was 5 or 6 yrs ago and now my crease is coming back to how it looked before. Sometimes it even changes when i don't get enough sleep or had too much sleep. I might try retinol eye cream but im still 24 so i cant yet.

Because I noticed this started during my hospital duty days but because there’s pandemic, our class & hospital duty got cancelled for two months. Hi, i cried like 5-6 month ago, i cried for really long time and didn't wash them before go to sleep and the morning after my left eyelid looks really puffy and thicker, so i just waited a week, usually it will go away by itself, but after its still there, and when i look closer, i think the it has formed a new crease on top of the old one, and the old one has almost gone, so now my left eyelid looks really big and fat, now its already been 5-6 month, and still haven't changed, how can i get my old lower eyelid crease back and remove the newly formed higher eyelid crease? Its really hard to use tool to press on my original to trace the crease line, bacause it has gotten so weak its barely there and on top of that the new crease is in the way. I also tried to use thin tread to put it between my eyelid then open my eye wide hoping to trace the old crease back,but it seems useless because once i blind the thread will fall off. I wasn't sure if that was safe so i stopped. Now stuck with thick eyelid and I'm very sad and lost my confidence, please help me.

I suggest to apply it on night before you sleep and take off the other day. The results will last longer that way :))

I really hope this works. I've been wearing the tape all day and keep hearing that it causes sagging.
I have noticed that if I rub my eyes or I cry before I sleep my triple eyelid comes the next day.

The reason you have asymmetric eyes/lips is because of the side you sleep on the most tend to change.

I always sleep on my right so my lips, cheeks, and eyes are kinda weird. It's not like that before, they were symmetrical. Now, I know why... Is there a chance to change tho, like to make them symmetrical again or to stop it to become even weirder? I'm sorry for asking.
@@celestialaster9673 there are surgeries you can do or exercises or massages to your face to fix them but none of them are permanent solutions. Surgeries lasts for months whereas exercises and massages last for days you can Google them it's a very common problem.

i had this kind of problem once on my left eye (triple or more eyelid) and was really stressful about it. and then i tried to put a bottle of warm-hot water on my eyes, for like 2-3 times a day. just leave it like 10 mins. and I repeat when it turned triple lid again. and it worked and my eye got back to its own real shape! (double eyelid)

Tbh I was able to fix my uneven eyelid by using Gua sha. After consistent use, I was able to spot a visible difference in the way my eyelids looked. My right eyelid would be so uneven from my left eyelid that if I took a look in the mirror and took a picture of myself it would be noticeable and that lowered my self esteem. So after seeing many ppl on tiktok using gua sha,I decided to try it myself. I just got a gua sha set from Amazon and after applying oil on my face and proceeding with the gua sha, my right eyelid be even with the other eyelid. The key is to use oil and to use Gua sha consistently. I recently took a photo of myself and my eyelids were even and symmetrical with each other. So I totally recommend using gua sha to fix uneven eyelids!

I was born with monolids, over time i started to hate them and then poof! they grew into triple eyelids. NO. NOT DOUBLE. TRIPLE. I miss my monolids now and if i fold my skin it stays unless i bling max about 17 times. like all together in a day
people at my school talk about how my eyes look weird, ask me why i have 3 eyelids, where my natural eyes went, and how they are incredibly uneven..

I have a lot of folds on my eyelids too. I never knew what to do about it, and I didn’t wanna go through surgery for it to be evened out. I hate taking selfies because 1 eye just looks tired no matter what position I take it from, so majority of my selfies looks kinda weird lol...😭

I think I have the same problem, one of my left eyelids covers my left eye too much than the right one so it looks like one of my eyes remains a bit closed, I'm in college now and people have started telling me what's wrong with your eyes/is it swelled and idk what to say, I saw my childhood and some photos from 4-5 years back (I'm 19 now) and I think I have it since childhood that's why everytime I click a picture they say one of my eyes is closed, also I'm having dark spots due to pimples now so I'm really really low on self esteem and Idk how to deal with it + I have stress/anxiety issues as well, idk what to do, I feel so alone and I just don't know how to explain this

I literally relate to this video so much and get so frustrated, except my original eyelid is the droopy one you have. I stand in front of the mirror and blink really hard while looking up and sometimes it works, but really annoying when it doesn't.

I think we all came to this video because we are insecure about these "imperfections" we see, that really nobody else cares about and I've realized especially in the media we have this perception of "perfection" we really nobody is perfect we all have insecurities. I read this article cause I was trying to find something that could help me fix my uneven over-plucked eyebrows and in the article, this guy said “I don’t even think they should be sisters, they should be cousins! Perfection looks artificial. When you have something beautiful and strong, we want it to look natural...not cheap.” this quote... these words are when I realized all our imperfections... we should flaunt them, show them off! Even when in all actuality nobody really sees them or gives them any thought. so love your acne, love your unsymmetrical eyebrows and love your uneven eyelids because you are absolutely beautiful just the way you are, and remember you are not alone everyone has their flaws but that's what makes you... you! 💗
How do you do the reverse of this? I like my monolids and have one that keeps folding into a double-lid.

Just use perforated skin tape and cut out a tiny rectangle, like half a millimeter by 1 millimeter. Then align it vertically to prop the lid up.

I used to have even eyelids but I had this weird growth on my eye and made my left eyelid bigger. It’s really annoying. I use the tape as a tool as well, and I take it off when it stay creased. It is annoying but what can I do 😭

@@raixne3836 the left eyelid that gotten bigger stayed bigger (so no need for eyelid tape for that). And the right eyelid, I used to need to wear tape every week to even it out with the
Left because it would go back to the original eyelid size or even become smaller, but now it is staying pretty consistently but the ends of the eyelid kinda shrinks/go down(???) so from time to time (every 2 months or so), I need to use eyelid tape to make it even to the left eyelid. But overall, I don’t use eyelid tape that much now… now I have a bunch of eyelid tape and it’s useless 😑

Exact same thing happened to me! Had hooded double eyelids, then one day one of my eyes started getting a triple eyelid. Then it stayed that way so I had uneven eyes for an entire year 😅 then eventually the same thing happened to my other eye. I’m happy they’re even now, but I was definitely having an identity crisis because I missed my double eyelids and hated my multiple creases 😂 Definitely took some time to appreciate it! I think it happens when we age and lose fat on our eyelids so the loose skin forms multiple eyelid creases because the muscle there grows weaker too lol

I came up with this trick without watching any video but apparently it’s known! I just use normal tape because I can’t afford to buy stuff but it’s easy to cut it the right shape
Mine are the same SIZE they are just different shapes. One is more-round while the other is more boxy?(i don’t know the word for it) It bothers me a lot. I never used to worry about stuff like this but I recently inverted myself and have become obsessed with the fact that I look horrible to other people. I used it be so confident in myself and now I don’t really have that confidence as much anymore :(
My eyes are the best part of me. They are big and symmetrical. But uneven eyelids make it look like asymmetrical. I hope this video helps us.
I've noticed throughout the years that my eyelid on my right has been more hooded and is prob from the fat droops on my lid and created a half fold above my single lid. Recently I've been using eyelid tape as well, i wouldn't consider surgery for something so small in my life but it does get annoying when doing makeup

I was born with uneven eyelids- left eye monolid and right eye is double eyelid. But when I was about 10yrs old, my right eye suddenly became monolid and from that day on, I live with monolid eyes. But this year, my right eye became double eyelid kinda triplelid and I don't know what to do. It's been 3 months since this happened and I still have uneven double eyelid. It's bothering me so much. I feel like my right eye is ugly.
I rubbed my left eye too much because of the irritation from all the anti viral spray, cleaner in the air cuz' you know... covid. And now my left eye is hooded asf and I'm trying to make it go back to the way it was.

I used to have noticeable uneven eyelids and then i bought an eyelid glue and it came with a small fork like plastic that shapes the crease before u apply the glue. After doing itninconsistenly for months my crease changed and even out. That was 5 or 6 yrs ago and now my crease is coming back to how it looked before. Sometimes it even changes when i don't get enough sleep or had too much sleep. I might try retinol eye cream but im still 24 so i cant yet.
My logic: the longer my falsie the less likely they’ll see my uneven lids LOL!

i literallt have this. i have upturn like eyes, but the eyelids are small.. and when i look up there like a crease thingy the same as ur old pics of ur smaller eyes. the crease from my smaller eye created a bigger eyelid on my right eye which made me face look soo uneven!! this is also because a cried like everyday in elementary school now the bigger eyelid is permanently (been so since 7th grade) i just want me single eyelid backk ; (

I noticed I have this lower eyelid fold problem everytime I lack sleep.
Because I noticed this started during my hospital duty days but because there’s pandemic, our class & hospital duty got cancelled for two months. Then I noticed my left eyelid fold turned back to normal. So it made my eyes even.
But then we had an online class & lots of papers and online activities to do. My lower left eyelid fold problem came back again 😢

I used to have double eyelid on both eyes but i have allergies and use wrong product on my right eye. Now i have triple eyelid on my right eye😭. Luckily it's not noticeable

Hi, i cried like 5-6 month ago, i cried for really long time and didn't wash them before go to sleep and the morning after my left eyelid looks really puffy and thicker, so i just waited a week, usually it will go away by itself, but after its still there, and when i look closer, i think the it has formed a new crease on top of the old one, and the old one has almost gone, so now my left eyelid looks really big and fat, now its already been 5-6 month, and still haven't changed, how can i get my old lower eyelid crease back and remove the newly formed higher eyelid crease? Its really hard to use tool to press on my original to trace the crease line, bacause it has gotten so weak its barely there and on top of that the new crease is in the way. I also tried to use thin tread to put it between my eyelid then open my eye wide hoping to trace the old crease back,but it seems useless because once i blind the thread will fall off. I wasn't sure if that was safe so i stopped. Now stuck with thick eyelid and I'm very sad and lost my confidence, please help me.
