REMINDER SO THAT EVERYONE IS AWARE: we will still be doing StarCrafts cartoons every now and again, so it's not gone entirely. This story is wrapped up tho.
Man oh man, this was so awesome to work on, such a titan of a beast to tackle too. I love story telling, creating and animating so thank you for giving us the opportunity to live and follow our dreams. This was a huge honor.
It's actually been a but emotional for myself. I've worked on. This series for over 7 years, that's about a quarter of my life it's been apart of me. Thank you so much for being apart of it too. I fell in love with these characters like many of you did. I'm going to miss them too :)
The great thing is we have some exciting new things in 2020. New series like Diablol 2, warcrafts 3 but also something much bigger :) even bigger than this finale.

Hey CarBot, I have a story for you.
This series started when I was in middle school. My first semester of college ended today, and I made one of my greatest friends through StarCrafts.
It just so happens that in an hour I will be spending close to the entire day with him. We’re gonna binge the entire series as we look at the WarCraft III Reforged models.
Thank you for letting me make a friend in one of the most difficult times of my life. You never need to tell me you’re my best friend because I always know you are.
My guy, I'm with you here brother. I started watching it my freshman year in high school.
brother in korea :D
Me in Elementary school: Oh its sc2! The cartoon looks fun
Me graduating Middle school: Am I a boomer already?
me too brother!
Family of patches anyone?
Not sure if you’ll actually read this or not Carbot, but I finally got to see all of these. After all of the side-splitting laughter you’ve brought..I seriously was not expecting that Hollywood-level climax - emotionally, nonetheless. Masterclass story writing, suspense, music selection and flashbacks. Absolute. Master. Class. Literally brought tears. Can’t say that’s an easy feat. Thank you. Well done mate
When I started this series because I was bored due to quarantine, I didn't realize it was such a journey. Damn.
Friggin' awesome. Funny. Touching. 10/10
I agree
Rock 114 May I know are you a Starcraft player? Are you familiar with the characters?
Now imagine watching when it first started 7 years and 9 months up til now

I was torn apart is a good way man
And I'm happy Carbot did this
Carbot, my best friend. This was beatiful. Not only have you created a great story. You have helped to create a better community for game that we love. For many of us, there wouldnt be a memory of starcraft without these animations. Without Crackhead, Patches, Zergling, Medic, Bob, Reaper, SCV, Overlord, Probes, Waving Hydralisk, Laughing Viper, Dark Archon, Silly walking Brothers, Fat Marine and Derpfestor. There wouldnt be a single game of Starcraft for me, in which i couldnt see those characters. You have created something unheard of on RUclips. A series of well done animations, with storyline, jokes, references and much more. We can learn a lot about friendship, love, courage, honor and sacrifice from these videos. This is not just an animation. Its a story for children. Its an art for those seeking culture. Its a serie for those looking for one on Netflix. And most importantly, its a memory for me, you and rest of this community. Its a memory of good days we always strive for. Not only have you proven to be talented animator, but also comedian, writer, and bess frend. You are Walt Disney of our age. I wish you as much luck as you and your family want into next year. I hope that you would take it far. I hope that I would hear about you in some great movie, or series, or even a game! I hope that your name would be written in history. As a creator who made some of the biggest series on RUclips for people who love Starcraft. There would be no talking about Starcraft without the name CarbotAnimations. Thank you Carbot, for every single second you have spent doing all these animations. Thank you and your family.

I love the fact that even for just a while Bob was made into an Immortal, not a Dragoon.
Only the most revered
Protoss heroes are made into Immortals. You are truly worthy of legend Bob.
En Taro Bob!
6:03 for Bob's moment as a Zealot.
Immortals are just dragoons outfitted with better weapons and armor, because the Protoss lost the ability to produce new Dragoons with the fall of Aiur. They're not some kind of elite Dragoon, they're literally just Dragoons who survived the fall of Aiur.
@@TheGregamonster Actually, by the time of Legacy of the Void, the resources to make Immortals were so great that by then, only the most revered of Templar Heroes are allowed to become them...Well, at least, that's what the Immortal's War Council quote in LotV insinuates...that said, it appears they regained the ability to make Dragoons again, apparently, although that's likely due to the Spear of Adun POTENTIALLY having the necessary facilities to do so...
Point is that, while you are correct in that Dragoons CAN BE (and likely many HAVE been) converted into Immortals, Evan Bailes is in fact also correct: typically, new Immortals can only be made out of the most revered of Protoss Heroes...
@@TheGregamonster
It is true that immortals are ALL the surviving dragoons from Aiur and there isn't a selection to only keep the strongest.
But thinl about it. The protoss are unable to make dragoons ever since they lost Aiur, but they continued to use them as a standard unit in all Broodwar. Which means every Immortal from SC2 is a veteran of many battles. They are elite soldiers, even if they weren't chosen because of it
My favorite part of this was that Buttpatch had zero hesitation, he immediately tried to jump down to be with his best friend in what was sure to be absolute death. Everyone needs a ride or die homie like that.

Funny thing is, they don't show up at the building tab when uprooted, but they are not a unit either.
I went straight down to the comment section to find someone praising it =)
I know everyone is talking about the big stuff, the end, the emotions, bob in general. But can we talk about how carbot made the thomas the tank engine theme more intimidating than any movie music in recent memory?
Right!? It's so much more intimidating that what it used to, I mean they didn't change the song at all but when you put it in that environment and sense it's totally terrifying.
you know you are fucked when you see that face
Hey the music was used for a unit that had the power to kill them all
Yeah who would have thought that a meme from years ago could be used as a sing of destruction in a animated series

I can't believe I got so attached to these characters and storylines. I didn't even realise it until now. Maybe because it has caught me in a very hard week, but I found myself crying more than I'd like to admit. What a finale! Amazing action, music and humor. No cheap sacrifices. No cliffhangers. Can we just appreciate all the trials and tribulations that Spine Crawler had to endure? He is the true hero of this story.
Yes Bob died and was reborn and the cracked faceplate marine (can't recall his name which saddens me) who nuked himself sacrificed for the story, but he's been climbing that cliff almost the entire series.
He’s called Crackhead

You started the series like it was a comedy, and you ended with a story who is going to leave a mark in all your viewers and Blizzard fans. And the best part is that you hadn't need to put voice on that. The music; the jokes; the memes... All of them combine well and they make a good story more epic.
We saw on this series that you put all your efforts, your soul. We saw you improve it, and you never give up. And we, as viewers, appreciate it.
It’s sad to see it’s end, but at the same moment, you made a great finale series. Better than most of the series (TV or movies) that ended on this year (GoT included in my opinion). And we are happy to see it.
Thanks for all. We waiting for more videos from you.
PS: Sorry about broken English.
I agree wholeheartedly on all points except the quality of your English. Well said.
Yes, there were some episodes of Starcrafts that seemed to mark a creativity-pit for Carbot. I was so impressed when he picked it back up and made it better than ever.

Tbh, what makes StarCrafts’ story so great is that it’s the same basic premise as all 3 parts of SC2, but executed better. Blizzard tripped themselves up on lore and world-building (or universe-building, more appropriately) trying to explain Amon, and forgot it’s the characters that make a story good. That has some advantages for trying to create a StarCraft Expanded Universe beyond LoTV, but the story suffered. I still think they’re storytelling is much better - almost nobody in the industry can rival Blizzard cinematics - but the story of SC2 is confusing at best.
Carbot stuck to what made SC’s original story great - the sense that you’re really just following the travels of a couple people destined for great things - and ran with it. That’s what makes this so incredible. He’s proven again that you don’t need HD movies or hyper-realistic graphics to tell a tale, and such things can’t replace good writing.
I have never played starcraft, but this animated series made me cry and laugh, as other films did not make me. This is a brilliant cartoon. Many thanks to the author, and I'll go buy the game

4 Years later and I finally watched this. I couldn't do it initially. Losing Geoff "InControl" Robinson in 2019, and then the whole thing with Hong King and Blizzard, I couldn't bring myself to watch this. I finally did and it's a lovely sense of closure for one of my favorite series of all time. I absolutely cried at the end. Thank you so much Carbot for everything you've made and all the joy you've brought everyone over the years. It was such a lovely part of my life, through all the ups and downs. I'm not sure if there will be anything else like Starcrafts for me, but I'm so grateful I got to experience this.
Can I just say, Bob the Ragelot has always been my favorite character? Not just because he's too angry to die, not because he has the most hilarious reactions to the shit going on all around him, but because--to me--he is the true version of what a Templar should be. A warrior, who only stops when he's slain; and even then it's not a guarantee that he'll stay down for that long. En Taro Bob.

In case you're not aware, the ending song from 28:07 is a Korean song with Starcraft reference. The narrative goes as follows:
The speaker of the song is marine. He hates this war, never ending war. One day, he confronts four zerglings. Injured, perhaps, they were limping. The marine didn't want to shoot them, but he was ordered to do so. He shot the zerglings, and regreted. He says "I didn't want to shoot you", and repeats. "Please forgive me, please forgive me, please forgive me..."

Can we talk about how Bob smiled and was appreciated for the first time in the series? Next to Crackhead's death, this part got me tearing up for a while. Bob started off the series as being the comic relief who would always fail and be humiliated, beginning with when I named him with the "You had one job, Bob... ONE JOB!" moment. But finally, we see his friends coming to support him for his hard work, even if he falls short all the time, and I find it so heartwarming to see him smile for the first time
