Glad you're swapping out the clutch cover 🤩 DSC is a really good tool, and slightly confusing. It 'sits' above DTC and ABS, and activates them when required. Enjoy your time on track when you get there! Plenty of settings to play around with 👌
Thanks Rick. Managed to get to Donny last week and it was awesome! Best part of the day was filling the bike with diesel at a BP at 7am 🤣🤣🤣 Bike was wicked though, bikes like nothing I’ve ever ridden and it’s stock which says a lot! 3 seconds a lap quicker than the 2015 R1 I had (race bike, suspension ect) which I though was unreal haha! I bet yours ride like an absolute dream! Love your dry clutch too, proper Ducati 😁
@@jamescrawshaw71 ooosh, diesel 😬 Did you notice before you started the bike? Wow, that's impressive compared to the R1 🤩 Umm, I prefer the wet clutch in the 2022 base model I have 😬😕🤣
@@TheRickDickinson haha yeah I noticed when the lever clicked filling the bike up in the back of the van 🙈 In my defence it was premium diesel with a blue handle same as the premium petrol 🤣
Naked V4 and interesting facts such as the drop to only two cylinders firing in neutral. Does that occur only when the engine is hot? Does it fire all four in neutral when first started cold? Is the key to all that horsepower those eight injectors? Is two injectors per cylinder common in race engines? Great content.
Rear cylinder deactivation happens after the bike warms up. It fires all four until it warms up and when it switches two off you can hear it very clearly.
Might as well pull the engine service it.. I had a chance to ride a V4-S coming from up spec 999 w/ a BCM 102mm overbore kit, HC Pistal pistons, upspec Corse cams, all the goodies by FBF 148.99 hp 86 ftlbs.. which was very fast.. but like a toy compared to the V4 ..just insane there's no reason to build this bike LOL it just kept revving and revving and going faster and faster like a slingshot.. It did get very hot, but who cares a quick blast to 120mph cures that.. what a machine.. the clutch appears to be some sort of aftermarket junk, silly looking pressure plate . .. you can check the clutch pack height for spec..drive plate friction pads, driven plates for wear .. ashame you didn't spring for the dry clutch kit.. so much easier to maintain.. tear it down with in minutes.. and all that drive plate dust stays out of the engine oil.. love to own one some day..wow !! I'm glad that you're getting rid of that aftermarket clutch cover, it looks terrible!
So bad!! Love the look of the stock. Clear engine cover just doesn't seem right. Dry clutch or nothing 😉
Looking gooooooooood
Thanks Luke
Sprocket ⚙️ and chain looking great buddy 👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks 👍
Super sprox are the ugliest asethetically sprocket sold.. Renthal or nothing LOL
@@carlmayer691 They last a long time 😁
Did you buy the gp shift conversion kit or just turn it around? I want to do the same to mine
Just put the linkage on the top mate it's all setup ready from factory 👍
@@jamescrawshaw71 thats awesome! They tried selling me the conversion part for like $250 😂
Is it easy to flip the shift pattern on a v4s. Just got one this weekend
Yeah all in the vid mate very easy. Just swap the ball joint onto the other side of the lever 👍
I'm not that savvy when it comes to being on the spanners. Plus I'm heavy handed. Really enjoyed ur vids

Great content but the music is a real distraction.......
That angle grinder looked to be very very close to the sprocket carrier plate😂
Was a bit wasn’t it 🙈
@@jamescrawshaw71 Awesome content though👍 Love your taste in bikes mate, your channel has great potential in RUclips-land for sure!
No need for grinder, just take the head off the pins with a file and press it out.
