Earling would absolutely love who Emmett turned into.
There are less then 120,000 ww2 vets left in the world. we loose 131 more every day. Rest in piece Erling you will never be forgotten.
Emmett is clearly an intelligent, well spoken young man. I’m sure Erling would be so proud of him. This story is heartwarming and heartbreaking all at once.
Even before the emmett said he wanted to be an engineer I knew he would be😂😂😂 I’m like idk if he’s interested in it yet but with the airplanes and how’s he’s talking 100% will end up in the field
I loved the Emmet and Erling stories.
This child is gifted regardless but the input from a loving family and Erling made all the difference. Soar high Emmett! RIP Erling.
Emmet has grown so much. He learnt so much from Erling. Very intelligent kid. The elderly are so full of wisdom.

Was für eine schöne Geschichte. Die Vereinigung zweier Leben in so unterschiedlichen Lebensphasen. Ich bin mir sicher, dass der alte Herr Erling stolz wäre und ist. Ich kann nicht anders, als zu weinen!

This is a beautiful story- had to watch more than once- This story gives me a great idea of getting older people w/o grandkids near - and grandkids w/o grandparents near and combining to create this exact story- I’m going to check into what area exists in my area or what needs to be created - so many young and older folks need this perfect story in their area ❤thank you - grow strong Emmett - “you amaze me “ stay with the math and science V.T.

Im blessed to have my grandpa who is 98 currently alot of good times with that old man. Its gonna be sad when he passes its gonna break me and probably the family. I imagine erly is the same for this family he acts like my grandps too
