I absolutely love that kid. As a fellow crocheter (admittedly way less prolific), I am in awe and a fan. Well done Jonah.
So a young man can do so much good and yet people with billions do nothing in comparison, he sure was raised well.
Say it ❤️🥰
I'm like sitting here with tears in my eyes watching this story.
God bless you jonah!!!!❤
So proud of Jonah. Have followed his adventures and he lives just a town away.
His mom is lovely and they have a lovely home there. Jonah really did" luck out" and so did his family.
I'm low-key jealous of how quickly he can crochet and without even looking. I can't do that 😞. I only knew him for his crocheting. I had no idea what a humanitarian he was. Great job Jonah!
Love this story and this cute little guy. And he's so intelligent to boot. "Lucked out, indeed"
His story is terrific. I am lucky to have known of him for years.
What a remarkable and exciting young child.. He is positive and a giver to all.
I teach crochet to students. 3rd to 5th grade. Jonah has been a good inspiration for my students to keep trying when they crochet. ,!
What a wonderful kid! Giving back to his country of origin part of the blessings he has. With God's guiding hand, his business is changing the world for the better. Blessings to her loving Mom as well
His parents have done a spectacular job not only helping him thrive despite his rough beginnings, but encouraging his passion for crocheting and (most importantly) raising him to be a kind, compassionate person.
He must be protected at all costs. He will change the world.
I have both of his books...he is so talented and a lovely person!
What an amazing, articulate, handsome , kind, talented teen! I am beyond impressed at what he has accomplished in his young life. The fact he gives so much back just brings tears to my eyes! I have no doubt Jonah will be a surgeon, an amazing surgeon! God bless you and your family Jonah!❤️👏👏👏👏
Wow, what a heartwarming story.
Jonah is clearly a genius!
I want to commend his parents, for they adopted this brilliant boy, and then nurtured him with love and joy, and now, Jonah is giving back. What an amazing young man. What a wonderful story.
Such a genius! Thank god he was rescued out of that orphanage!
How I LOVE it when an adopted child loves his adoptive family rather than rebelling against the people who love him.
That sounds perspnal. Don't bring that here this is a positive adoption. Negative adoptions have nothing to do with them.
Most kids rebel against their parents in some fashion. Even if they're the same blood. It has nothing to do with adoption.
AMEN ❤️ 🙏 GOD'S BLESSINGS ❤️ 🙏
We need more people like him!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
What a beautiful extraordinary child! I loved to crochet and embroider as a youngster.
Jonah you are amazing!
This kid is a lovable creative genius! ❤️
I first started learning at age 11. Some 57 years later I'm still at it, and have been creating my own designs for years now. So well done, Jonah! You've got a lifelong skill!
These stories are great. This is my new favorite channel.❤
You are an awesome individual! What great things you are doing ❤❤❤
Jonah story is positive and inspiring shining example of hope in a world full of ugliness. Father God certainly works in mysterious ways ripples of goodness touching many lives. Thanking you LORD 🙏
I love crochet so much peace an joy doing something for other people.👍👍👍👍👍
he casually said "yeah, Lucked out." Lol love him
So special. Only God will fill the whole in his heart from his abandonment. He is blessed and I hope he knows it. The crocheting should slow down during med school, don't you think? Or do you think he will find a way to keep up with it?
Hole (in his heart). "Whole" means 'all of,' 'undamaged,' 'in one piece'...the opposite of what you meant, I'm sure.
I worked in healthcare for 45 years prior to retirement, and know several doctors, both men and women, who used (and still use) such crafts to help them with stress relief. They all said the same thing; crafting, no matter what it is, lets (them) get their mind off all the heavy stuff for a little bit.
Jonah might slow down a little during West Point and then med school, but I doubt he'll give up crocheting entirely.
I sure hope he doesn't give it up!
I can see him crocheting an anatomical model of the human body for study purposes...
@@jb6712 LOL about the spelling error. Sorry. It is true that the crocheting probably reduces stress, but it doesn't heal the problem. Only God can do that. Hope He does that for this young man.
@@caronstout354 He would know everything about the model in the first five minutes of crocheting, it seems. So smart.
What a lovely family.
Children in school sitting on floor. Pay for benches. Every child that sits at those benches and eventually succeeds. Succeeds from the love his family gives him.
I was just thinking of Jonah recently! Cool!
Yep sometimes I can't keep up with his tutorials he's too good fer me!😂❤❤❤godblessjonah
This was fascinating. Incredible young man. I want to know, why was that lady on the left wearing a winter coat in the studio?
Good job Jonah! What an inspiration ❤
That is what the whole world should be!
He was my inspiration!
Love him!!!
I love that kid!
That's cool I'm still at it at 60
Oh I love this boy. ❤
Simply amazing
Awesome young man!!
What a terriffic young man!❤❤❤❤
Lovely 🎉❤
He did luck out and he deserves it!
❤❤❤ SUPER CHILD
Very nice.
❤ ! ❤!
طفل ممتاز انتج عملا وأصبح يساعد الغير
You didn't LUCK out, but u were and are VERY BLESSED
Ummmm, let me go evaluate my life and how I'm using my time.
I literally have no excuse.
After finding out that babies learn languages and instruments faster than teens or adults, I was no longer impressed by kids doing incredible things, I'd be more impressed if this was done by an older person or something.... xD nah just kidding xD this kid did an amazing job and is so eloquent and smart; his mom seems nice too. God bless them.
I sent him a Box loaded with a bunch of yarn and some other crochet supplies and never even got so much as a thank you. You're welcome
Are you sure he got it?
Even if he did why expect him to be able to respond he's literally so busy if you sent it for self gratification you dont deserve a thank you.
if your bio parents was your real parents then u would not be doing scarfes
What in the hell are you even talking about?
@Sherrythewife2022 I think this person's native language isn't English.I think the poster means if Jonah hadn't been adopted,he wouldn't have learned to crochet.
Even then why does it matter. What is the obsession with wanting adopted children to drop to their knees at their parents all the time. My mother birthed me and if adoption isn't as superficial as they make it out to be the relationship would be just as normal as me and my mothers. She gets my gratitude on my birthday, mothers day, her birthday and other holidays. Adoption folks have such a hero complex
What a remarkable young man! He is an example to us all. May light and spiritual blessings follow him and his family throughout their lives. Thank you for sharing...we need more stories like this one. 💖
As a chemist and a crocheter, I realise how much mathematics and spacial knowledge is needed when designing a crochet project. Jonah truly is a genius!
The world needs more Jonah’s 🧶💕🌺
HIS FAMILY has loved and he has returned the love. WHAT A LUCKY GROUP. As for CROCHETING that is a GIFT from GOD. Keep up the good work Jonah. 😊
Don't spoil it with god nonsense.
@@jonnawyatt Prove that GOD does not exist. God Bless
@@donnapuckett4992prove that he does exist.
I've been keeping track of this young man via YT for the last few years. He's absolutely amazing, and his parents must be as well, considering they have control of his money for now. I'm referring, of course, to all the philanthropic work he's done already, and continues to do.
I've been crocheting for 51 years, and I have to say, my skills are not as good as his. I taught both my son, and my older nephew to crochet. Son crocheted until his death at the age of 31, and he taught his then-girlfriend how to crochet.
Nephew crochets every night after work, he and his wife together.
It's wonderful to see young people continuing one of the oldest, most useful crafts in the world!
So sorry about your son.😢I wish I had learned to crochet as a child but I was playing outside so much.I only know 4 stitches and don't like counting them so I make mistakes.
Keep trying, it's a fantastic craft and worth persevering with 😊👍
What an amazing young man.
What a treasure! God bless you and your family. Keep up the good work and being creative and generous.
Jonah, I'm so proud of you for breaking barriers around crochet. I've been crocheting for close to 20 years!!! Keep following your dreams and don't let the haters get you down!!!!
What haters? 🤷🏼♀️. Everyone thinks he’s amazing.
@@stockinettestitchbelieve it or not there have been negative & cruel people. Most of us who follow Jonah just shut them down. He is such an amazing young man. So talented and I as I'm sure many of us think he will make a fantastic surgeon with those blessed hands of his and the amazing and generous mind to go with them. 🧶💕
Amazing Young Man. God Bless You, You are a beautiful young man.
This young man is in love with life and will make a fine detailed surgeon. I am glad to see him reach out to his roots and give back to those who need. He will be a well-rounded young man as he journeys through life.
You can not help but fall in love with this amazing child.
Incredible story! I’d heard if Jonah before and his crochet talent, but his philanthropy is a new one to me. Way to go, Jonah!
I remember years ago a famous football player did
needlepoint to relax.
I don't know you, but I am so PROUD. of your GIFT!
Keep those smiles on our faces You touch so many lives!
GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
Yes, Rosie Greer broke many barriers.
Isn’t it wonderful when people find what they love to do?

What a wonderful young man. He has done so much for so many. I can’t say enough good about him. And I’m sure a lot of the credit goes to his incredible parents.
Wow! God bless him even more!
What a happy story!
I’m so happy he was adopted to a family of love❤
I started following Jonah from day one on RUclips before his voice even changed. I have one of his books and have crocheted a few of his demo items. So happy to know he's now in high school. *Looking forward to seeing great things from you Jonah! Keep up the good work and never lose your altruistic spirit.* @ 2:39 that photo is on page 21 of his book, *"Hello, CROCHET Friends!"* and is my favorite photo of Jonah. The excitement, gleam, and anticipation in his eyes and on his face is so beautiful!
I love this boy and his work!!!
