As a chemist and a crocheter, I realise how much mathematics and spacial knowledge is needed when designing a crochet project. Jonah truly is a genius!
What a remarkable young man! He is an example to us all. May light and spiritual blessings follow him and his family throughout their lives. Thank you for sharing...we need more stories like this one. 💖
I've been keeping track of this young man via YT for the last few years. He's absolutely amazing, and his parents must be as well, considering they have control of his money for now. I'm referring, of course, to all the philanthropic work he's done already, and continues to do. I've been crocheting for 51 years, and I have to say, my skills are not as good as his. I taught both my son, and my older nephew to crochet. Son crocheted until his death at the age of 31, and he taught his then-girlfriend how to crochet. Nephew crochets every night after work, he and his wife together. It's wonderful to see young people continuing one of the oldest, most useful crafts in the world!
So sorry about your son.😢I wish I had learned to crochet as a child but I was playing outside so much.I only know 4 stitches and don't like counting them so I make mistakes.
Jonah, I'm so proud of you for breaking barriers around crochet. I've been crocheting for close to 20 years!!! Keep following your dreams and don't let the haters get you down!!!!
@@stockinettestitchbelieve it or not there have been negative & cruel people. Most of us who follow Jonah just shut them down. He is such an amazing young man. So talented and I as I'm sure many of us think he will make a fantastic surgeon with those blessed hands of his and the amazing and generous mind to go with them. 🧶💕
This young man is in love with life and will make a fine detailed surgeon. I am glad to see him reach out to his roots and give back to those who need. He will be a well-rounded young man as he journeys through life.
I'm low-key jealous of how quickly he can crochet and without even looking. I can't do that 😞. I only knew him for his crocheting. I had no idea what a humanitarian he was. Great job Jonah!
I remember years ago a famous football player did needlepoint to relax. I don't know you, but I am so PROUD. of your GIFT! Keep those smiles on our faces You touch so many lives! GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
What an amazing, articulate, handsome , kind, talented teen! I am beyond impressed at what he has accomplished in his young life. The fact he gives so much back just brings tears to my eyes! I have no doubt Jonah will be a surgeon, an amazing surgeon! God bless you and your family Jonah!❤️👏👏👏👏
What a wonderful kid! Giving back to his country of origin part of the blessings he has. With God's guiding hand, his business is changing the world for the better. Blessings to her loving Mom as well
What a wonderful young man. He has done so much for so many. I can’t say enough good about him. And I’m sure a lot of the credit goes to his incredible parents.
His parents have done a spectacular job not only helping him thrive despite his rough beginnings, but encouraging his passion for crocheting and (most importantly) raising him to be a kind, compassionate person. He must be protected at all costs. He will change the world.
Wow, what a heartwarming story. Jonah is clearly a genius! I want to commend his parents, for they adopted this brilliant boy, and then nurtured him with love and joy, and now, Jonah is giving back. What an amazing young man. What a wonderful story.
I started following Jonah from day one on RUclips before his voice even changed. I have one of his books and have crocheted a few of his demo items. So happy to know he's now in high school. *Looking forward to seeing great things from you Jonah! Keep up the good work and never lose your altruistic spirit.* @ 2:39 that photo is on page 21 of his book, *"Hello, CROCHET Friends!"* and is my favorite photo of Jonah. The excitement, gleam, and anticipation in his eyes and on his face is so beautiful!
I first started learning at age 11. Some 57 years later I'm still at it, and have been creating my own designs for years now. So well done, Jonah! You've got a lifelong skill!
What a kind hearted and loving young man. He can really crochet better than anybody that I know. I was taught to crochet at age 7 and now I'm 75 and I could never ever crochet as fast and as well as he does. What a blessing he is to his family and his native country. Lots of love to you and your family.
Jonah you are such an amazing kid.May you continue to prosper in all that you do.I pray that God will continue bless you in all your endeavors.God continue blessings 🙌🏽 on you your mom and all your supporters.I am one of them.❤ You are going to be a great surgeon.Acknowledge God at all times and he will direct your path.
Jonah story is positive and inspiring shining example of hope in a world full of ugliness. Father God certainly works in mysterious ways ripples of goodness touching many lives. Thanking you LORD 🙏
So special. Only God will fill the whole in his heart from his abandonment. He is blessed and I hope he knows it. The crocheting should slow down during med school, don't you think? Or do you think he will find a way to keep up with it?
Hole (in his heart). "Whole" means 'all of,' 'undamaged,' 'in one piece'...the opposite of what you meant, I'm sure. I worked in healthcare for 45 years prior to retirement, and know several doctors, both men and women, who used (and still use) such crafts to help them with stress relief. They all said the same thing; crafting, no matter what it is, lets (them) get their mind off all the heavy stuff for a little bit. Jonah might slow down a little during West Point and then med school, but I doubt he'll give up crocheting entirely. I sure hope he doesn't give it up!
@@jb6712 LOL about the spelling error. Sorry. It is true that the crocheting probably reduces stress, but it doesn't heal the problem. Only God can do that. Hope He does that for this young man.
Children in school sitting on floor. Pay for benches. Every child that sits at those benches and eventually succeeds. Succeeds from the love his family gives him.
I absolutely love that kid. As a fellow crocheter (admittedly way less prolific), I am in awe and a fan. Well done Jonah.

So a young man can do so much good and yet people with billions do nothing in comparison, he sure was raised well.
Say it ❤️🥰

I’m so happy he was adopted to a family of love❤
How I LOVE it when an adopted child loves his adoptive family rather than rebelling against the people who love him.
That sounds perspnal. Don't bring that here this is a positive adoption. Negative adoptions have nothing to do with them.
Most kids rebel against their parents in some fashion. Even if they're the same blood. It has nothing to do with adoption.
AMEN ❤️ 🙏 GOD'S BLESSINGS ❤️ 🙏
