  • Jinger Duggar was a breakout star on the TLC hit series “19 Kids and Counting,” which chronicled the infamous Duggar family’s strict religious lifestyle and iron-fist Christian values. Since the show, a flood of controversy has surrounded the Duggar family-from the #FreeJinger movement to Josh Duggar, Jinger’s brother, being sentenced to 12 years in prison for child pornography charges. Jinger joins “Tamron Hall” for an exclusive sit-down to talk about life now, the relationship with her parents, and raising children with her husband Jeremy Vuolo.

    Getting married to that man essentially saved her by getting her out of that house. She did the work on herself, but if she married within that cult she may never be at this place in her life. I love how she separates the word of Jesus from a false prophet.

    I struggle to understand why Jim Bob Duggar wouldn't let his daughter Jill into his home for wearing pants. Such a lovely a good daughter and she can't come in the house because of pants. You can tell she is the sweetest young lady. I will never understand that. He was fine with Josh coming in even after all he did.

    • @lindabishop7824
      @lindabishop7824 Год назад +29

      Jim Bob did not banish Jill because she was wearing pants, Jinger started wearing pants first and she was never banished. The reason that Jill was not allowed in the house is because she found out the truth and wanted to be paid for her her time on the show. I think that Jim Bob had more control over Jill after she was married than he ever had of Jinger. Jim Bob expected to be in control of Jill and her husband especially since he was the one that brought them together. What I have always found hard to understand is why Josh is still welcomed in the family home with all he has done and what he has cost the family.The parents are still defending him. They are paying for his defence right now. I find it so odd that they can turn from a child that simply wants what is rightfully hers and to run her her own life and family and then turn around and defend a child who has done so much damage and caused so much harm. You would think that with their failure to protect their daughters they would want to do anything to make it up to them.

Duggar's raised some very purposeful children. The young ladies have what seems to be great husbands and beautiful families. I think that it is hard to admit that you were wrong and what you have done has damaged your children. That might be part of the reason why that insist on helping Josh. Marrying Jeremy was a blessing. I think that the fact that he is not someone her father can manipulate and intimidate has been a real blessing as well. I do think that she is trying to walk a line that will tell her truth and not hurt her parents. I respect that but I think that for sometime before Jeremy came into the picture she wanted out. I think some part of her has always wanted a different life from the one that she grew up in. i think she does not want to admit that and hurt her parents. I think that what the people who started the free Jinger website saw was real. I don't think that she realized that her body language told it all. Because she did not grow up in the mainstream she did not know how to prevaricate and so she gave herself away.

    I never seen a husband who is associated with the Duggars that supports his wife like Jeremy does I love that. He is my favorite brother in law of them all. I can see if Jinger is like I want to work we need to become a two income family I'm pretty sure I can see him support her in that

    For our home modesty is the main thing. We teach what becomes a woman of God and a man of God. Doesn't have to be only dresses. Just modest! It becomes ridiculous when they say a woman can't wear pants. Or have some style! I agree with her statement about not just following one person. We need to have pastors & teachers plural never singular!

      I actually once asked a friend on high school why she only wears skirts also and apparently it is because pants is a man thing. So I'm happy you teach modesty with all clothes because it's usually just with skirts

    I come from a fundamentalist Church. I still go to the same church but we don't have legalistic preaching or beliefs any longer but it is very hard to get away from that. What it causes his judgment of others

    We used to watch the Duggar family. It was like watching a horrible train wreck. My husband always said there is something not right and not biblical about the family.

    This information being out for just anyone is sort of disturbing and honestly very scary because this can be helping horrible people like kidnappers. 😣😟🤯 but I see the benefit of others needing this info, such as a mom and child in danger from a boyfriend, husband ect. But yeah. Scary world we live in ran by monsters.
