Huh, I had no clue that N-Gage games could be emulated. Pretty interesting. Also, I had no idea that Banana Heist and that other Shinobi mode were even a thing, wow. What are your thoughts on Banana Mania?
Yeah I think it's a pretty recent development. I've only tested this one game but from my experience it works flawlessly. The only issue is that it's really tough to actually get up and running initially... I absolutely love the look of Banana Mania. Literally every new piece of information we get about it, the better it looks. The one minor thing is that it looks like the story mode isn't going to be as good because they're swapping the cutscenes for more simple 2D animation. But beyond that I'm extremely hyped for it!
I've played Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed on the PC, Xbox 360, 3DS, and PS Vita. And yet, I had no idea that the Wii U version had such interesting exclusive content; the asymmetrical multiplayer aspect of Banana Heist almost reminds me of games like Dead By Daylight, so it's pretty funny to see that in a Monkey Ball format lol. Super cool video; I think I got that McDonald's toy back in the day so that was also a pretty cool thing to see, I had forgotten all about it. I'm excited for part 2!!
Wow, you're a Sonic Transformed veteran! I only ever properly played the PC version myself. Haha! That's actually really true, it was quite ahead of it's time with that concept when you think about it! What's next? Super Monkey Ball Battle Royale? Part 2 will be coming very soon! :D

A lot of people discovered the series with Banana Blitz HD and then Banana Mania grew it even more. It's probably the most popular it's been since the GameCube era now.
The really impressive thing about the McDonald's Happy Meal toy from 2004 is that it actually features a user replaceable button cell battery. Things like that are extremely uncommon in otherwise "disposable" free toys
Good god, I remember the McDonalds happy meal toy for super monkey ball. I believe I also got the tails, sonic, and shadow games. I used to play them for hours
I never had any of those as a kid :( I probably would have loved them too, I was really into that kind of thing for some reason. I had (and still have) a few Game and Watch games which I played a lot! Still, at least I have the Monkey Ball one now!

The only way I would’ve known is if I examined the box and saw that small text that said there’s a Monkey Ball minigame present, but I only just popped it in and played the World Tour mode and the Grand Prix modes haha.

That McDonalds game is so awesome haha, in this smartphone age, there won't be similar toys again. Imagine in 2050 there will be a Mcdonald's toy that plays the original Gamecube Super Monkey Ball in 4K 60fps and has an analog stick 🤣
Yeah I know! You never see stuff like that anymore, just cheap old technology being used in really inventive ways like that. Haha, I doubt we'll see that! In the UK at least McDonald's have stopped using plastic in their Happy Meal toys!
I think you're the first person I've spoken to who actually had one of these toys when they first released! I never got one back then because I had probably moved on from Happy Meals at that point haha! :D Considering they're just something free with a McDonald's they're actually pretty good to be fair!

That's exactly what I was thinking when I was playing it! It probably would have actually worked really well on the Kinect. I guess the Monkey Ball series has never really been associated with Xbox though :(
The football Macdonalds game is probally based on the Virtua Sriker Series which was Sega's Console/Arcade Football,Soccer series thst was mostly on Saturn and Dreamcast. I think that eyetoy game shown in this video was the last time sega even mentioned the series outside doing a HD remade of the Arcade original on Xbox Live Arcade as a Digital download but they only sold it in Japan even though game was fully in english.
I noticed while editing that there’s actually a picture of what I think is Knuckles on the football game… Because Knuckles is red and the game is red I can’t quite make it out though even with the instructions right in front of me haha! I’m like 90% sure that I can see Knuckles on there but why would he be playing football? It’s weird how they didn’t keep making Virtua Striker games… I suppose with the rise of FIFA and Pro Evo, there wasn’t room for another football franchise…
@@PixelPursuit All the Team and player names are owned by EA OR 2K games so no one else can afford to use them. This is why they is next to no sports games anymore because no one wants ones with fake names. Though until 360 era it was common for lots of companys to have their own sports series. They is no Big Budget Boxing games on the xbox one or PS4 at all for example. Sports games do nothing for me most of the time but it must be fustrating begin a fan of them with only version around anymore.

That is definitely true! I'm honestly surprised that I've never covered a Rayman game considering how much I love them. Especially the first two games! I kinda want to look at the Sly series at some point too though, so I really don't know what to prioritise haha!
I actually have the McDonald's Monkey Ball Game unfortunately it doesn't work is there any way to replace the battery and also I think it's pretty cool how you can get a monkey ball game in a Happy Meal even if it's not that deep
I think replacing the battery would be quite difficult because I believe there's a bit of plastic holding the battery in that you would need to snap off in order to replace it. Then you would need to find a way of reattaching the plastic bit or fixing the battery in place some other way. So it would be possible, but it's quite a lot of work! But yeah! I would have been really happy with getting this Super Monkey Ball game with my McDonald's!
The tennis game actually has a monkey ball mini game where you hit the ball in the goal it's kind of reminds me of pool are you going to review Monkey Ball banana Rumble when it comes out
Haha, isn't this the opposite problem of what we had last time? With some of the games running at 30fps and some running at 25fps, I'm not sure there's anything I could have done about that is there?
@@PixelPursuit if your using a mix of 30 and 25 you can render the video at 60 and the 30 will render at 30and the 25 will render at 20, its a lot better than 15 but still not ideal
