Disclaimer : We receive a ton of emails and messages from people telling us we filmed them at the ramp this past weekend and they want to know when the video will air. This is not a question we can typically answer. We film from three or more ramps every week and have a massive back log of content and sometime it could be weeks or months after an event occurs before we air the video. We put stuff out as fast as we can but we only air three videos a week and in a typical weekend get 6-10 episodes worth of content meaning we get content faster then we can air it. Thanks for watching and just be sure to keep watching looking for your content it will air but probably not immediately after it happens!

This is why I keep my boat at a marina. Trying to share the boat ramp with people like this would give me a heart attack.

That last one is the bane of my existence! I'm like steer right, steer right, and I thought he had it a few times, but instead of straightening out he keeps turning the wheel left! UHG!😅 FYI for those new to backing up trailers, if you want the trailer to go to the left, turn the steering right, and the opposite for right, turn the wheel left.

If you’re new to backing up a trailer, like most people in these videos, put 1 hand at the bottom of your steering wheel. Then turn / move your hand, in the direction you want your trailer to go.

You need to pan out when there is multiple potential shots and you can always zoom in using post production tools. You miss things you don’t have to miss

"Captain": Secure mooring line to your boat first, and then attach said line to dock!!!
All these people need to take their trailers and go to an empty parking lot and spend an hour backing into parking spots. They clearly have no clue how to turn the front tires to make the trailer go in a certain direction.

In Australia you need to do a course with a theory and practical. Learning how to dock etc
Yes it's a credit card! (more and more states do but it isn't like vehicle drivers training)
Not everywhere. Its common sense they lack. Even after years of boating I finally got a ski boat. I had a buddy experienced with them go out with me day 1 to show me the nuances of a different type of boat and it paid.
Some state require a boating license of some sort, but it's just about safety stuff, you don't have to know how to operate a boat or trailer to pass it.

Probably needs sayin' ... You DO NOT need to turn your wheel from lock to lock when backing a trailer. Slow small turns and watch the trailer.
The sightseeing on the dock was a distraction from the poor reversing.

The best way to watch these videos is in mute mode. Annoying voice over makes me leave the vids early and often
Twin engines are the easiest to dock. No throttle needed.
Why is that?
@ Because you can steer the vessel using forward and reverse on each engine separately to change the direction.
@@GodBlessedAmerica Sweet! It is amazing how people with so much money can't figure out how to operate their toys properly.
However, if they are mounted too close together, strong winds and current or crosscurrent and sail area of the vessel all play a big part in bringing a boat into the dock without using rudder or turning the motors.
People have more money than brains

It's so simple, if you can't back a trailer up, you have no business owning a boat.
