    Is it compulsory to book a tour package from a agency to visit Bhutan.
    Can i book guide, hotels, travel insurance and vehicles by my own on arriving at Bhutan.
    where do i book the above mentioned if possible.

    • @rollingfeettales
      @rollingfeettales  Месяц назад

      No it's not mandatory to book tour package for Bhutan trip! It just becomes easier that way with guide and vehicle hire with driver.
      Guide and driver you will be able to hire after or during immigration but stays and travel insurance needs to be booked in advance - you can use online services for this.

    • @rollingfeettales
      @rollingfeettales  12 дней назад

      You can book them in advance through Bhutan tour operators (online) or you can hire one at the Bhutan immigration as well!

    Thanks for the detailed itinerary. Which month did you travel? Is June a suitable month to visit Bhutan considering monsoon and crowd?

    • @rollingfeettales
      @rollingfeettales  8 месяцев назад

      June would be beginning of rainy season in Bhutan! So if you like low clouds in mountains & misty weather then you will enjoy Bhutan! ☺️
      Else best months to visit Bhutan from India would be March-May & Sep-Nov. We went to Bhutan in October!

  • @sukritimishra1594

    Is November end a good time to travel to Bhutan? Also, did you book everything from any travel agency or yourself?

    • @rollingfeettales
      @rollingfeettales  6 месяцев назад

      November end would be fine with cold coming in! So carry some warm clothes with you!
      For Bhutan, we took Travel agency 'Bhutan Inc' service.
      They arranged for pick up from Bagdogra, immigration, internal transport with guide, hotel stay & drop back to Bagdogra! It was a stress free Bhutan trip! ☺️

    We are going to Bhutan on August 10th .. how would be weather that?

    • @rollingfeettales
      @rollingfeettales  5 месяцев назад

      Bhutan in August receives rain! So you might expect clouds & rains, so carry rain coats, shoes accordingly!
      But since Bhutan is mountains, clouds do clear quickly as well! So just go to Bhutan and enjoy! ☺️

    Hello
    Should we go only through some tour packages itself , or can we plan and pre book the stays and then use local transport and explore the places .
    Kindly do reply

    • @rollingfeettales
      @rollingfeettales  7 месяцев назад

      You can plan your Bhutan trip either ways!
      Tour agencies simplify the whole arrangement part for you. But you can definitely plan on your own and visit Bhutan!

    Thank you. Amazing video.
    1. Do we need to pre book the hotels? Do we need to show it at the immigration office while entering Bhutan?
    2. Is travel insurance compulsory? Have heard that travel insurance should have stamp and seal and online travel insurance should not be purchased?
    3. Can you give some idea about sim cards and network connectivity in Bhutan?

    • @rollingfeettales
      @rollingfeettales  10 месяцев назад +2

      1. Yes, hotel reservations are required. Immigration officers at Bhutan would check this.
      2. Yes your understanding is correct. One needs to have travel insurance for the duration of Bhutan trip. This should have seal & sign thus online one may not work.
      3. Sim cards can be purchased from Phuentsholing or Thimpu town. We had good connectivity though out our stay in Bhutan!
      Hope this helps!
