- Traveling to Bhutan was always a dream for me because Bhutan is a country that has given up the traditional development metric- GDP to give way to Gross National Happiness (or GNH) as the means to measure its development. It values human development indices more than other materialistic developments. A few days back, I happened to be traveling on the roads of Bhutan to explore this and this film is what I came back with. This is a music-based cinematic film, that I always wanted to create.
Places covered here include Thimphu, Paro, Tiger's Nest, Bumthang, Gangtey and Phobjikha valley overall. #bhutan #travel

Visited Bhutan,first time in 2009 n the moment I landed at Paro,I was overwhelmed with the Beauty! n the air ,the wind it is freshest n it seems playing with you.have so many pics n videos of this land from Paro valley to haa valleyto Thimphu to Punakha to phobhjikha ,gangtey ,to bumthang valley...old n new dzongs ... everything is mesmerizing...but pics n videos don't justify the beauty of this land.people are welcoming ,kind and content with their lives.my nanaji was posted there in 60s..we used to have handicrafts of this land at every nook n corner of nanajis house be it curtains or dresses, bedsheets ,wooden masks , paintings,metal artifacts,woven baskets,n heard from maa that yak dry cheese was fav thing in her childhood...n when I visited this place first thing I asked for in market, yak dry cheese😊...from childhood I wanted to visit the land .heard so many stories from naniji...n now I have my own stories ...my husband was posted there n enjoyed every bit of my stay there... thankyou Bhutan for everything.n the above video is closest to the real beauty of Bhutan...

Mesmerized is the only word that came first into my mind. I have been to Bhutan and the video made me travel back to one of the most beautiful countries according to me. What you find wondering among the Himalyas is peace and love only. True that, the people of Bhutan are very kind.
