Usually I need subtitles to understand what they’re talking about in English because English not my 1st language plus they have different slang’s. But here, I can 100% understand what she’s talking about. How I wish my English teacher like her. I’m already 25 but I love to learn from her. She’s fun you know...
you are the best crazy teacher, I love you. you relax my senses and I can learning better lol. you splain excellent all classes. god bless you.. you are the best...!!!!
She's the best teacher I've ever met in my life! She speaks so clear and in a very simple way so you're able to understand everything! Thank you so much!
I’m watching this as a native English speaker out of curiosity. At first, I thought she was speaking in a weird way, but I couldn’t really figure out what was “off” about her. Now I realize that she is intentionally speaking very clearly and slowly so that English learners can understand her better. I bet that is helpful to many!
Ronnie didn't explain well enough for when to use "the" with countries. (Sorry Ronnie!) When a country has an adjective in it, you use "the," always. For example, The United States of America. United is an adjective for States. The Russian Federation: Russian is an adjective for Federation. The Czech Republic: Czech is an adjective for Republic. The European Union: European is an adjective for Union. If you don't know what an adjective is, it is a word that tells us what the noun is like. Also, whenever a country is in plural form, you use "the." For example, The Philippines. The Maldives. The Netherlands. The Bahamas. I hope that helped!
I heard that the pronunciation of "the" changes depending on the word ( vowel or consonant) that comes before it. I would like to know how true that is since Ronnie didn't mention that in the lesson. Thank you
Madam, you are one of the Best English Teacher in the world. The students who personally attended your class to learn English are the luckiest one..... Love from India
Hi Ronnie! I like your explanation of the vowel sound. I knew it but had no idea (maybe I had learned it some time ago, but I forgot) why we use the “an” before the “hour”.To learn pronounciation in English takes many years of practice. After a while it comes naturally. Accents are a different story! Regards from the U.S.
I love your videos! I'm in the GTA and happy to have found a locally produced series! I'm doing a TEFL qualification and have an assignment on teaching articles. This is very hepful - thanks!
Thankyou for teaching us Ms. Ronnie 😁 I would love to watch your videos everyday so i could improve my english grammar 😊 Love from the Philippines 💕 btw, your new subscriber here ❤
Hello Miss. A Senhora fala muito bem o inglês e isso é ótimo para eu entender, porque sou Brasileira e estou cursando o básico no curso de inglês. Thank you.
Mam, I generally face confusion while using an article but by watching your video I clearly understand how to use an article in a proper way. Thank you.
I happen to be from a "the country" which is neither a "united" country, nor a country with more than two words or an island. It is "The Netherlands". Thanks so much for your explanation!
Hi Ronnie! You didn't mention that we use "the" when we have only one of the noun that exists in the world or in a specific place. The sun is shining. ( There is only one sun in the world.) The moon is very bright tonight. (There is only one moon in the world.) The board needs to be cleaned. (There is only one board in the classroom.)
Why the English people use the articles? They use the article to identify a noun! Example: "I have read a book. I have a red book." In case if you try to pronouns that sentence without an article you might confuse yourself, because a verb "read" sounds like "red". I have red ead book. (Just try to pronouns) Incomprehensibly, Have you finished a book? Or you just have a red book?
M = EM ( beings with a vowel sound) An MTR station C= Si: (doesn't begin with a vowel sound) I've got a CD. X = EKS ( begins with a vowel sound) An X-ray machine Look 'm', 'c' and 'x' up in the dictionary and you will find all phonetic symbols, Tiffany Chow.
I am so thankful for being *A* native English speaker 😃 Imagine being Russian, Chinese or Japanese. Those people will always struggle to understand *THE* concept of articles because their language does not use them.
In your outline for the "THE" part it says: "THE speaker and listener both know". Why did you use THE before the speaker and not an A. I am confused since we don't know of what speaker we are talking about, and why you did not use an artickle before "listener" in the same sentence? Thank you!
LUL this arcticles, then I have a question about this sentence - Btw, thanks for an amazing video! Is it correct to say AN if we know that he is talking about this video?
We missed so many wonderful things in our childhood, say 50 years ago. World today is different in many aspects. We r fairer cleaner externally But r we really human in our hearts ? +Liz Diz it would be greece. Not the Greece.
