In my late teens, I thought I had never fallen in love. Then, my friend said to me : "du musst ins kalte Wasser springen! " That did something with me. I noticed that I became prepared to let this ' love thing' happen to me. Since then, I have had 3 very beautiful relationships. So, maybe one needs to be "in for it", so to speak... ❤😊
But I was never traumatized... I think it's because where other people check for good looks at the beginning, I always check for good character. That sounds sooo arrogant!! 😅😅 It's not meant that way, though. We are all programmed differently. But that definitely has helped me a lot!! With very good looking people, I am sceptical, so I usually avoid them, which is also superficial in a way ^^
@@lucyy9447 that's not arrogant or superficial at all! We like what we like and we need to look for it. I wish I could go past looks a bit more. That being said, I don't just want supermodels (even though that's what my friends always say 😜): they just need to be attractive to me, so I should rephrase it by saying that I need to be attracted first, otherwise, I friendzone people immediately (I wish I didn't! 😜). And attraction is only the first step: if they are not nice and I don't like their personality, I move on. I don't hang around just for the looks 😜 I'll keep you posted and well done for getting 3 relationships out of it all! ❤️
I once watched a video made by a lesbian woman who debunked the saying "there's plenty of fish in the sea" using math and statistics and it really struck me. For example if you take the gay population in London being X amount of people, then subtract all your requirements for example percentage of the group that are in the correct age group, percentage of that group that meet your body type requirements (e.g obesity problem), percentage of the group that doesn't drink and smoke etc what you eventually come up with is in fact a minute number of people who meet the requirements. It's quite sad really but what I always say is you only need to meet 1 😉

Hi Sam! Have you ever thought of being aromantic? My personal experience: I've never been in love because I'm not able to show or feel a very strong feeling as love towards a person. I mean it in a romantic way, I love my friends and my family platonically🫶🏻. Maybe, as you said, my mind is too "scientific" for it: as a matter of fact I see everything from a logical and rational point of view. Anyway, keep going with your videos! I'll be scientific again and say that I don't think I have enough evidence to make that conclusion simply because I don't think I've met a sufficient number of potential boyfriends 😜 I did feel a strong connection with a few of them (and I talk about that in today's new video), so I am not saying you are wrong, but just that I wish I could take that connection that I felt further at least once, to see if you indeed have a point.
